Update: This is the best place to buy SEALED products and I was initially so excited when they opened their own store on Eastern ave. However after a few visits, I noticed they keep trying to rip people off that are selling singles to them (myself included). They will "accidentally" place a 40 dollar card into the $5 place on their mat. They didn't move it until I called it out on multiple cards. Then they did the same exact thing to my friend. They advertise giving 70-80% value if trading in towards other cards but thats complete and utter BS. On the buying side of singles, most of them are WAY overpriced - exceeding what you would see on TCG. My advice is to stay away from buying singles or selling singles here as they will attempt to completely and shamelessly rip you off and hope you don't notice it. Pretty awful business ethics that made me consider reporting them to the better business bereau. read more

My boyfriend is an avid Magic: The Gathering player and took me to Stomping Grounds for the first time. I finally understand why everyone loves this place. We've been to most of the card shops in Vegas, and this one is easily the best. He loves it so much that all he asked for his birthday was a gift card from here, which honestly says a lot. I recently started collecting Pokémon cards with my son, and I was genuinely excited about their selection. They have so many rare and sought-after cards for both Pokémon and Magic. It's clear they really care about their community. Even when the store is packed, the staff is attentive and makes sure everyone is taken care of. That was something I really appreciated. I have been buying from StompingGrounds online for quite some time with amazing results. Decided to swing by while I was in town. Stopped by two different days, one of which to get some friendly games in with an old friend. The atmosphere was very chill and everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially Reina, who helped me with a very long and large trade in. I felt bad for tying up someone for that long, but the entire time they were understanding and completely forgiving. Both days I was there I spent some money and trade in credit to pick up some big purchases to round out a collection. I was amazed at the prices and conditions of what I purchased, but had no doubt my experience would be this good simply judging off how every online order I have made with them has gone. This place is AMAZING!! Last week we were passing by and decided to check it out. When we got there the doors were locked and all of the employees were literally ready to walk out the door. However, they opened the door for us and told us the store wasn't open yet and that there were doing a soft opening this week. Super sad I turned to walk away but they asked me if we wanted to come in anyways. OMG guys this store did not disappoint!!! SOOO much to choose from. The pokemon products available did not disappoint!! Definitely check this place out asap!! They also have amazing customer service... which is super hard to find now a days. I have ordered dozens of times and have always received great service. They are very responsive and fast when I reach out with questions. A special thing to point out is their large selection of secret lair and singles. As an avid lands collector I have been able to get grow my collection by a significant number, including rare and special art lands. I'm quite excited to visit their brick and mortar shop when in Vegas for MagicCon this year. Almost forgot to mention their prices are hard to beat most times, making Stomping Grounds my go to for things my local game store doesn't have. Hands down the best selection in town. It doesn't matter what you're looking for, staples, random bulk rares, hard to find singles, sealed product, they've probably got it. I've walked in expecting to strike out and somehow they always have exactly the card I need. On top of that, they have the cheapest Dragon Shields in town. No joke. If you sleeve up a lot of decks like I do, that alone is worth the trip. The staff is super friendly and actually helpful. Reina is hands down to best local game store employee I've dealt with. For context I'm not from Vegas but like to stop by card stores in different cities I go to. I like to feel out the local vibes and see which cities have which products. I have never met someone so knowledgeable and helpful across multiple card games. She gave great advice, knew her stuff, and didn't try to sell or badger me on anything. Went in looking to make a new Pokemon TCG deck for a friend that was trying to get into it for a league challenge. After searching on our own for 35 minutes with little success through a mess of bulk, Vince called us over to his sorted playable cards box saving us an astronomical amount of time because of his incredible attention to detail. He was super helpful and was very polite as he helped us get what we needed to be ready for a league tomorrow. This is hands down the best trading card shop in Vegas! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and actually take the time to help you find what you're looking for, whether it's a specific single for your deck or the newest sealed box. Xander, Tony, and every other staff member I have worked with has been amazing every single time. I also just played in their TMNT Prerelease and had a great time with everyone there. This was my first time to the stomping grounds. I've been to a couple other cards shops around Vegas prior to my visit here and let me tell you that none of them even come close to the ser ice and selection you'll find at the stomping grounds. Stomping Grounds consistently has the best preorder prices. (Other shops are shocked and wont match the price lol) Nobody from our area has had an issue ordering online, and its our preferred retailer. Staff are always amazing when you meet then at conventions. Theyve even got their own awesome playmats! Their online inventory has quite the selection of older highly collectible product and secret lairs. I plan to take a trip to their physical store next time im in Vegas! read more

Amazing store!! They have the most cards, slabs, boxes, special boxes I've ever seen, a lot from Japan too. Very helpful and they have a little tablet you can look at their inventory. they have a ton in their inventory and the stuff they show is amazing too. Fist off, I have never been to the brick and mortar location.. but I have bought multiple items online. With that i do hope to visit one day. The prices the have are some of the best in the business. I went and visited this game store for the first time. I was extremely impressed by the wide variety of options I had to choose from. The service was top-notch and he took his time with us, ensuring we had both a good experience and understood what we were purchasing.
