Update: After my original review, the situation escalated significantly. I was contacted by Paradise Card Breaks and informed that my card was stolen in transit after being shipped back from PSA. According to them, a police report was filed, and I was paid out the insured value for the loss. To be clear, this entire process--from the initial mistake of submitting my express order as bulk, to locating the card and resubmitting it, and ultimately the loss of the card during return shipping--reflects a serious breakdown in handling at multiple stages. While I did receive the insurance payout, that does not replace a unique, high-end card, especially considering everything that led up to this point. This was my first submission with Paradise Card Breaks, and it's hard to overlook how many issues occurred from start to finish once the card left my hands. I was offered additional PSA submissions as a resolution, but given how this process went, that is not something I'm comfortable with. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend using this shop for PSA submissions--particularly for higher-value cards. Customers should be aware of the risks involved. This experience resulted in the permanent loss of my card. read more

So first of all, I had a valuable PSA 9 card (shining mewtwo) that I cracked open to put into my mewtwo binder years ago. That was one of the cards I decided to submit to PSA thru Paradise Card Breaks for my very first PSA submission. To keep things short 5 months later my cards came back and that previously graded 9 came back a 6... Ok....Fine. But how come when I went to pick up my cards from Paradise Card Breaks, they handed them to me with, 1. No box - my slabs were wrapped in rubber bands. 2. Never received paperwork or emails from PSA (meaning no certification numbers or results.) And #3? How come when I called them asking for said certification numbers and PSA results, they told me they had a card show that weekend and that they would email me AFTERWARDS on Monday. Keep in mind it was a Friday I called and the show was Saturday and Sunday. How long would it have taken to pull up that info and send it to me? Hm. Well guess what. I still haven't been emailed or called or anything.... As a business they should have respected my concern. Not only because it's the right thing to do as a business, but because I have three binders full of cards and I already prepped 50 of them for my next submission I'll be sending ON MY OWN. That way I get the updates and results from PSA themselves. And I won't have to wonder if my cards have been swapped out or tampered with after 5 months of waiting and paying Paradise Card Breaks extra money for a 20 day turn around time. Last thing I'll say is that there's more scams happening than ever before. Don't be an idiot just because someone says they'll make it easier for you. I sent a friend to go shop for me. I on the look out for collectors cards. My friend went in and saw a Brock Purdy card. She sent over the information and found out that she was quoted $120 for the card. I asked if this was the best price. The sales person then lowered the price. The card was not with in reach due to the employee having access was not available. My friend then went back to pay for the car and the price of the card then jumped up to $180. If your employee make a mistake you as a responsible business owner need to honor the price. This is not good business. read more

Came in the store on a Tuesday with my family. We looked around for about 20 min. Had no interaction with the staff. Acted like we wernt even there. Did find a few items we wanted to purchase. Staff seemed too interested in the back room dealings to deal with in store customers. Finally got someone's attention behind the counter and they couldn't even check us out. Came in from out of town to check out all the Pokémon tcg stores in the area. Pleasantly surprised with the experience. Extremely friendly staff right off the bat. I knew from the reviews that they mainly deal with sports cards but took a chance and ecstatic that we did. Not the biggest selection of Pokémon and a small selection of slabs, as they were new to the Pokemon game but they were transparent about that. Spoke with Isaac who had the most knowledge about Pokémon but again was also transparent about his experience. Looked through the two card boxes of loose Pokémon boxes and picked out a nice stack of cards from base set to modern. Cards were all mixed together, not a big deal. Isaac hooked me up with some sticky notes after I asked so I could check Tcgplayer market prices ( industry standard for Pokémon pricing). Anyone who deals with Pokémon knows the prices fluctuate daily and they were willing to hear me out, most places don't even care if they overprice buyers. Warren aka Dub came to make sure I was doing good and helped me the rest of the way, very hospitable. After speaking to him about market price he was more than willing to hear me out. He too was just learning about the tcg market. At the end of it all, Warren priced out the cards at their sticker price and my notes with tcg market prices I checked. The best part of it all in addition to the hospitality was them willing to adjust to tcg market prices. I went to several tcg only stores in the area and for a sports card mainly store these guys impressed with service and customer satisfaction. Warren spoke it over with the owner Mark and let's just say I happily left spending more than I originally planned to. Don't feel intimidated coming into this sports card store for Pokémon, they're friendly humans. Store also had a cool layout being able to watch them do breaks. This place will definitely be at the top of our list of shops every time we visit Vegas. I have a feeling this place will be stacked with Pokémon and other tcg in the future. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! This store was advertised to me through social media. I thought I'd take a chance on them. I needed help learning about some cards I had. I was greeted by one person who seemed nice and said he would help me with some cards he would look at and assist me with teaching me about an app that will help me research prices properly. He asked if I had the cards with me I said it's in the car I can be back in like 5 minutes and when I got back from the car with the cards I wanted checked out, another person came to me giving me a weird vibe like I am about to waste his time and I'm no longer allowed to talk to the original guy I was already talking to and said he will check out the cards and he immediately said I'm pretty sure the store is not interested in my cards and then instead of carefully pulling the cards out of the plastic box or letting me pull them out he dumps everything out mixing everything up when I had all my cards in order. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the lack of the way they look at another persons cards. Clearly unprofessional. Don't think they know how to treat other peoples property with care. And then after going through only some of them when the employees are doing nothing else because there were no other customers, I felt rushed to leave now and unwelcome as if I was basically told ok you can take your cards and go. I was never shown how to learn about the cards and the apps that would supposedly help me learn. I told them I knew nothing of sports cards and I found the cards in a box that was stored away for some time. I was hoping to do business with them seeing they have a big flashy sign that saids PSA as in the grading company but if this is how you treat your customers, then I want nothing to do with PSA anymore! I will never be coming back here. And it's ok. I found two other sports and collectible stores who were much nicer and knew what they were doing and didn't rush you. Also apparently they heard about this place and said they too heard nothing but bad experiences here too. Very sad. I had high hopes. Maybe they will treat you better if you flash a lot of money down here. Paradise card breaks sounds legit, they are in it to break your cards and this place is not paradise at all. To those going here to sell, trade or learn about your collection be careful! They are clearly new to the industry. I give this place a one star only because the first guy who greeted me seemed nice at first. Other than that the overall experience was bad. If you work as a PSA grading company you need to be more professional and maybe wear gloves too or something. Felt like I was talking to a teenagers... kids who only knows very modern things only. Went today, on a Tuesday and as the website states, open till 6pm. Raced down there with $800 in my pocket only to be met at the locked front door at 5:30. Girl comes out and says we don't open till 7 or 8. Numerous people inside so I guess I wasn't VIP, first and last time I stop there. Extremely unprofessional to close down for an hour while staff drinks and chills for an hour, get it together! read more

This shop is super conveniently located right in Town Square so you can pop by while doing other shopping very easily. Mark and Mike do a really fun job with the card break stream and the shop carries a really good selection of items, including hockey cards, which are really all I care about since it's the only sport I follow! I was so excited to take my kid here and made a special trip to Town Square just to visit this shop. When we were there we were totally ignored. We waited and desperately tried to figure out who, if anyone, worked there. There was a group of people just standing around talking and another guy doing some live stream opening packs, cussing as he did so, despite the child right nearby. It turned out to be a huge disappointment! I went in with a bunch of money to buy my kid some Christmas gifts, but left after feeling like they couldn't care less that there were people in the "store." I don't know what the deal was, but we came home and bought a bunch of stuff on eBay instead. HUGE LETDOWN after such high hopes. My kid was so upset and that is what broke my heart. It was her first time at an actual card shop and it turned out to be a waste of time. I saw other reviews saying this place was great, so I don't know why they decided that we weren't worth their attention whatsoever.
