My husband is a big Gundam fan, and while exploring the area, he found this amazing little shop just off the Strip. As soon as we walked in, I could tell he was in heaven--it was like watching a kid in a candy store! The shop had a fantastic variety of Gundam kits, including models from Japan and another section from China. The collection was so well-organized and fun to explore. While we were shopping, my husband noticed that some of the same kits he had purchased online before were priced about $15-$20 less elsewhere. But even knowing that, he didn't hesitate--he wanted to support this small, local business. That meant a lot to both of us, especially after learning the shop is backed by its own tight-knit community. "Locals supporting locals" is something we value. The staff were also genuinely kind and welcoming. I wish I remembered their names--they made the experience even more enjoyable. We ended up buying quite a few kits and were concerned about how we'd get them all back to San Francisco. Fortunately, they offered shipping, and everything arrived quickly and was packed with such great care. We also noticed they were selling some awesome shirts and learned that the artwork was created by one of their community members. The designs were so cool and creative that we decided to purchase a few. We actually came back for a second visit during our second trip to Vegas--and, of course, picked up even more Gundam kits and shirts. With recent tariffs being added to imports, we wouldn't be surprised if prices go up by the time we're back in August. So honestly, what we paid might end up being a deal! If you're a Gundam fan or just love supporting genuine, community-driven small businesses, Downtown Hobby 9 is absolutely worth a visit. We're already looking forward to stopping by again on our next trip--stay tuned!

They have gunplas as well with premium Bandai. The staff was friendly as you can feel their passion towards model kit building. I didn't purchase anything as my collection has surpassed most shops. The staff were extremely welcoming and upon checkout, mentioned their account system to earn rewards. The staff member who serviced me went out of her way to help me out in our checkout. Went here yesterday, this place has a wide selection of figures ranging from pop up figures to…read morenendoroids. I was stunned to see the wide variety of shows there too, most of the figures were pretty cheap for the quality. All of them looked absolutely amazing and it was often hard to choose between some due to how gorgeous they were. I ended up getting this pretty pink haired girl. Came here last night with my girlfriend to pick up some Pokémon packs for fun. (Really appreciate…read morethat this spot was open on a Sunday night when every other store in the area was closed). First thing off the bat I was greeted by an awesome employee who was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions that I had and even gave some good recommendations based on what I was looking for. I came on a Sunday night and saw a group of people playing cards which gave a nice community vibe and was a green flag in my book. The interior of this store was well lit, super clean, everything was organized neatly, and prices were super fair. Didn't pull any crazy hits from my packs but that's just the name of the game. Will definitely be back to pick up some more cards in the future and grateful a card store with a knowledgeable and friendly employee exists in Vegas!

It's a bit off the Las Vegas Strip but as I have a rental car it wasn't too far of a drive. First and foremost the two people working the front counter were two of the nicest and friendliest workers of a Local Gaming Store (LGS) that I have ever met anywhere. Being from CA this shocked me in the most positive way. Kudos to them. They were so helpful and eager to answer any questions I had. Secondly. This had to be the cleanest and nice smelling LGS I've ever stepped foot in. As my wife was with me she will tell you that we have been to some LGS's that are have bad air circulation and don't smell very good. Omniscience Cards and Game really goes above and beyond to make their store look and feel welcoming. Bought some card sleeves, nice deck box, an MTG single and 5 pack of MTG packs. A bonus that the workers let me pick my packs from the boxes which for me is a huuuuuuge bonus! All items were fairly priced and reasonable. Overall a wonderful experience and I definitely will be back the next time I visit Las Vegas
