Collecting Pokemon cards has become a new hobby in our household. We enjoy going to the store and having our baby pick the box (so far, he's had a 90% success rate for hits). Redemption cards has been extremely welcoming each time we've gone there. The store is super clean, the staff is really nice and helpful and the prices are super reasonable and comparable to other stores in the area. The location is great with plenty of parking. It's well ventilated and they offer penny sleeves and top loaders for those ripping in store. All around, I prefer this shop over the others and will continue to come as long as we're in the hobby! I was in Vegas for the weekend and was checking out the Local Card Shops when I happened to find Redemption Cards on a google search. This is by far and away one of the best Card Shops I have ever been to! Their selection is wide and varied and displayed to perfection. There were two very huge selling points that prompted this review and the first is the two gentlemen behind the counter. I believe their names were Brandon and Tyler, my apologize if I get them wrong but they deserve so much credit. They made my experience quite memorable. I had so many questions and they patiently took the time to walk me through all of them. I went in and found a high end card I was looking for and they let me take my time looking at the card before making the splurge. I can't commend them enough for their great customer service. The second selling point? The AMAZING Prices. Every card that I was looking for was shockingly priced in the BEST way. There are far too many shops that take advantage of the market and sticker price things at egregious numbers, but not Redemption Cards. With the crazy boom the TCG Community has seen these past few years, to not come across a shop that is Price Gouging at double the market is incredible, which makes them one of the best shops out there in my opinion! There was a review I ready about the place on yelp and it was the one that convinced me to make the trip out here. The reviewer said they wanted to gatekeep Redemption Cards because of how amazing their service is, but that they had to share with everyone that is in the hobby about their store. I couldn't agree more! In a sea of shops just trying to make the most money they can, Redemption Cards is in it for the love the hobby and the community. Found another new pokemon cards shop in town. These guys are amazing with service and with their sports and Pokémon selection. Their Journey Together packs are one of the less expensive. They also sell none graded single pokemon cards so if you're looking making for those to add to your collection, they may have what you're looking king for. I was able to pick up 3 illustration cards for my collection. Also, for $40, you can purchase a graded mystery slab that is worth upwards to a Bubble Mew or any of the popular Japanese hits. This is one of our favorite stores! My child plays the card game and we like looking through their Pokémon cards. They have a lot of pokemon tcg packs and singles for sale and they restock their stuff regularly. They consistently have the best prices for packaged tcg stuff and singles so it's definitely worth checking out their stuff. They also carry other popular trading card games, sports cards, and supplies. I also like that the store always looks clean and is a very kid friendly environment. When you enter the shop it just looks tidy. The cards and packs on display are always neat and the tables are clean and have playmats. It's a kid friendly environment because they have a TV that's usually running cartoons, they usually have some nice music playing in the background, and in my experience there hasn't been anything that is inappropriate for children in the store. This is very important to me because I feel like the store owners put effort into building a store that's welcoming to everyone. They hold monthly trade night events and also do giveaways where the kids get cool Pokémon stuff. We've attended these trade nights and the Pokémon community here is super cool and friendly. They currently do not hold Pokémon events, but I was told that they would be having events soon. I'm guessing that they still have to get the approval from the companies to hold the events. They do have Magic the Gathering events though. read more

at front row cardshow, they had a card listed at near mint pricing ($400) and i purchased it at their asking price. after buying it i realized there was a dent on the card. knowing i paid near mint price, i came back to the booth asking if anything can be done, i wasn't asking for a refund, i was asking if i could at least trade it back for the value i got it for in trade for other cards or at least be compensated for the difference in MP value. they didn't accept anything and rudely dismissed me from the booth. extremely dissapointed and never will come back to this shop. this is my second bad experience with them. read more
