"To love and be loved is truly something amazing."…read more What's not to love about Japan? Except it's so far away ! Everyone knows that the Japanese individuals love their gaming platforms and cultures . We can thank the creators and brilliant minds for small businesses that give America a small piece of their world. Thus we have a little bit of Henderson right here from Japan . This store is a must come in for. It's nestled in a small alcove where you wander in . The store front does not do the store justice. Let's go in . Most of the store is just browsing along the aisles . They offer so much variety . One thing that captured my attention was the selection of small scale models making kits for sale. Come to find out, Japan produces 80 percent of the world's small scale plastic model sets. It is centered around the city of Shizuoka. The "idea" of model design and making is a cherished art form in this particular city . Many small scale sets and designs are available for an individual to purchase and enjoy. The art and concept of origami design paper can be found here too. Are you ready to be creative and make something out of this imaginative state? Let's slip into another dimension and reality to explore life in the most beautiful ways. Origami is used to many different ways. One can use it as a tool to meditate, religious practice, ceremony; the range is not limited or restricted. Some of the folded papers represent many aspects of what they are folded to be. For example the lotus flower symbolizes spirituality and purity. Come find out more! The world has changed so dramatically let's discover something new to make it all rainbows and roses. They offer many choices for food and drink from Japan that you could choose from too . Go check it out. .

The gentleman that helped us was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. It was almost closing time and he didn't rush us at all. Both locations were great! Their prices are fair and reasonable also. I definitely recommend friendly hobbies for all ages! We'll be back for parts and accessories and more fun stuff

I consider myself a frequent Friendly Hobbies customer. My family and I have purchased several rigs…read morefrom the Rancho location and sometimes their CrawLVenture course passes. Knowing this, my wife got me a rig from the Henderson location as a surprise present, but then realized that I already had that same one, so she goes to return it/exchange it (keep in mind this is within 24 hours of purchasing, never opened, sealed box), and the experience was far from 'friendly', everything about the return process from the worker was rude and made her feel unwelcome, in addition, there were unnecessary comments made from the worker, etc. I have store credit with Friendly Hobbies, but this is the last time I'm buying something from this location.... I'll continue to go to the Rancho location but its left me with a bad taste about this business now. Small hobby shops like this should know better that their customers are actively making an effort to support small business, when they can easily purchase the same RC rig online for the same price (or cheaper in most cases) and still get a much better return policy, that being said, you're probably better off shopping elsewhere online.

Walking in, we were greeted right away and were asked if we needed help. My husband rattled off whatever words get him his cards and we were guided to an expert. They had exactly what my husband needed and it was for the price it was supposed to be. While he was doing this, I walked around the store a bit. It can seem a little bit overwhelming but there is a clear order in here and I don't think it would be hard to find whatever it is you are looking for in here. There are tables in the middle of the store where people were playing. I noticed a lot of older sets of the game my hubs plays and he was saying that they are fairly well priced as well. Overall, my hubs says he does want to come back because of their friendliness and availability of product. I want to come back just to look at all the items they have. Fun times!

Never have I felt more embarrassed and alone shopping a comic store, somewhere we should all be allowed to be ourselves. Same on you guys, I'll never return here.
