I had the receipt, packaging and box and i was returning it. There was a few hairs on it so tangled and stuck, and the blond woman/ supervisor was a complete sour meat resting b face and said "well we can't sell it with the hair on it". Never in a million years would i think they would try to resell it after i had to cut it off my head, and i told them as soon as i approached the cash wrap. God help you if the blond is working the register area. The rest of the cashiers have always been kind.

I live nearby so I know for sure how it was last year and a couple of years ago and this is no exaggeration. I don't blame the employees and I'm not really blaming anyone however, leadership should probably do a better job during their team meetings. You do still get a good value on most of the items even with inflation. However, if I had to choose, I would probably shop at the other two local stores nearby that are similar to TJ Maxx since they typically carry better items, more organized etc. The staff usually is pretty helpful here though. just don't come during peak hours. The last time i was in there were about 5 people behind the counter but they kept walking away from there registers, so there were only 2 to 3 ringing up and doing exchanges. There seemed to be no sense of urgency at all for the over 15 customers in line that wrapped around. Instead of trying to get the line down, they were either talking forever to customers about random things, or playing with hangers, or a clipboard. The other tasks they were doing could have been done either later, or done by just 1 of them not 2 or 3 at a time. Then they want to ask you to get a credit card after you finally do get to the register, and it's more frustrating when you tell them no, and they keep going.

There was also a black leather Hello Kitty desk chair that I came very close to purchasing. It was a tough debate but I ended up walking away from it. When I try out clothing in the dressing room, Jeannie, one of the sales associates, is always extremely friendly and welcoming. She's the other reason I like coming to this particular Ross store. There's little old Asian man who's also very sweet and always opens the door for me because I have a habit of leaving the store with my hands full. However, several issues have been making my shopping experience increasingly uncomfortable. I often feel like I'm being watched. When I walk down an empty aisle, someone seems to appear almost immediately, and they stand very close to me. The self‑checkout area is especially uncomfortable -- the employee there watches me so closely that it feels accusatory. I've never stolen anything in my life; I'm the person who turns in lost cell phones. This is the only store where I ever feel this way, and it's discouraging. The large blue baskets employees push around are another concern. I've been bumped or hit by them more than once. Recently, an item I canceled at checkout was accidentally left in my cart by an employee. I drove back to return it because I didn't want anyone to get in trouble, but the situation added to my frustration. The produce section also needs improvement. Some items are fine, but the potatoes are often old, and the lettuce is frequently wilted. The layout of the produce area makes things worse -- the slanted tables and narrow pathways cause constant congestion, and customers end up bumping into each other. I hope these issues can be addressed. I like this store and want to continue shopping here but thinking of changing to a different store. The overall experience has become stressful. Improving the layout, produce quality, and customer interactions would make a big difference.

When I went to pick it up today I couldn't believe it. The shoe is completely destroyed. He said it was hard and he had to cut the fabric to get it out. The shoe is not only filthy, but cut up (which he blamed me and said I cut a hole which was absolutely untrue-he cut the actually fabric of the shoe itself, destroying the integrity of the shoe), shredded the material, sloppily tried to sew it back together, and its black where his dirty hands were doing the work on top of all of that. When I told him he ruined $150 pair of point shoes, he angrily threw my $5 back at me. I will NEVER give this place this business again, and on top of that have to go spend double the money just for trusting him to do something when he could have told me it was something he didn't know how to do and then lied about his work. I've now brought several pairs of my Coach pumps here... because they are THAT good. The craftsmanship is excellent and they take genuine care with every repair. They even helped me with a special request and treated it like it mattered just as much as I did. That kind of service is rare. They are always friendly, professional, and the pricing is extremely fair -- honestly far more reasonable than the quality of work deserves. I would gladly pay twice as much.
