NY STRIP 14oz

Please understand that the only reason I didn't give five stars is because of the pricing. The serving sizes at this restaurant continue to decrease, but the price remains the same or is slightly higher. These steaks should not cost more than Capital Grille, which has superior steak options. That said, my husband, and I had a great experience. It's vibey - music is a bit loud, there was a DJ on Friday night; however, the music was a mix of r&b remixes and pop which fit the atmosphere. Not sure I've been seated at a steakhouse and wanted to jump up to dance to a Beyonce bop, but hey! Our waiter, Corey, was attentive, knowledgeable, accessible and soooo helpful. Kudos to him! When you go, call ahead and ask if he's available and if you can be seated in his section. We started with an espresso martini and an old-fashioned, ordered a strip steak and ribeye for entrees, and added Wagyu fried rice and creamed spinach as sides. A lot of steakhouse sides leave much to be desired, but the sides tasted delicious here and complimented the steaks well. Steaks were cooked to order. The happy hour menu caught my eye, so I will definitely be returning with my girls in the next few weeks. As long as the quality of food and the staff attentiveness stay the same, STK will become a staple here in Baltimore for years to come. I've never been to the one in DC, but I've heard lots of complaints about terrible customer service. I just pray this is not the fate of the Baltimore location.

From the service to my brunch items, including my steak and burger and eggs, everything was cooked to perfection. I also enjoy the different drinks that they had as well service was that a good pace when it came to bring out the food and all in all, it was a pleasant experience. I love the decor, but even more importantly, I enjoyed the food and the variety of appetizers/entrées. Check it out!

2 host ladies weren't too friendly from initial greeting. Ordered the 3 course meal. Cocktail shrimp were cool, steak was cool but that mac & cheese wasn't good, I knew that from the presentation. Waitress was ok but she kept forgetting small things. Went during the weekday at night. They had late night happy hour which was nice.

The bartenders are the shining stars Apparently my type is dark, sleek and serves $9 cocktails. STK Baltimore has only been open four days--and that $3, $6, $9 happy hour already has my attention. Food was chic and very affordable.

Tried out the new STK at the Inner Harbor and overall had a good experience. We sat on the outdoor porch, which was a great spot for people-watching by the harbor. Our server was excellent the whole night -- attentive, personable, on top of drink refills -- but there was a hiccup when the food came out. A different runner brought our dishes and seemed genuinely confused about which plates went to which table on the porch, so there was a bit of a delay sorting out whose order was whose. Once it got sorted, though, things were fine. I ordered the Dry-Aged Delmonico ($119), and this was really my only letdown of the night. The steak itself was cooked well, but I added the Peppercorn Crusted topping ($6) and the Umami Butter ($12), and honestly neither did much to elevate the dish -- for $12 extra I expected more flavor impact. They do a tableside butter-melt presentation, which was a neat touch and fun to watch, but it didn't translate into extra flavor on the plate. The real star was the Wagyu Fried Rice ($36). It's not cheap, but it delivered -- nice chunks of wagyu mixed through the rice with a fried egg on top. Rich, savory, and well-balanced. I'd order that again without hesitation. Aside from the steak and toppings not living up to their price tag and the food-runner confusion, everything else about the visit was great. Ambiance on the porch, and the fried rice all made for a solid outing. Not sure I'll go back, but next time I'd skip the steak and maybe lean into more of the shareable/wagyu-forward items.

Now, listen, I know that there are a lot of negative reviews surrounding this place, but I've been four times and as far as ambience, flavor of the food, attention to detail, low price drinks with great flavor, and wonderful staff that greets you, this place is fantastic.! It's an awesome happy hour. The only thing I would say is it is busy, which means you may be seated for about five minutes before they actually start taking your order at least at the bar that is. But the food came out hot, it was seasoned, and even when it was wrong, it didn't take them long to turn around and to fix it. One thing I don't like is cheese or extra excess butter so when I ordered the bread without the butter, the first time they actually brought it with the butter... But it took them under a few minutes to bring me a new order of bread, which was pretty efficient, especially for how packed and busy they were I give this place five stars simply because it is a new addition to Baltimore and I see it doing very well

When we entered I was expecting to give a password but it was not needed...lol. It was a little chilly in there and the lady at the desk when we walked in the door was keeping warm with her small heater. I asked where we could sit and she said anywhere. So we sat down in these large egg shaped seats which were really comfortable. Our waiter was really knowledgeable on the menu and suggested some great drinks. We did not try the food as it was past the restaurant hours being open and we had already eaten at a restaurant in the alleyway. I will be doing a review on that Italian restaurant soon because it was really good. I loved the whole speakeasy vibe and the music was amazing. One of the few places that stayed open to 2am...my birthday ended in an awesome surprise! When back in Baltimore will definitely stop in again maybe to try a bite with a drink.

Despite the horrible parking situation, I would come back again and again just for their egg custard martini. Service is friendly, we were helped immediately when we sat down at the bar. They also have a lot of fun season drinks as well, which I would love to try. The bartender was happy to help us, and even gave me a fun straw for my water when I asked! Grabbed the Farmhouse Benni & Chicken & Waffles. My homegirl throughly enjoyed her benni with dippy egg and all and my C&W was ok. The chicken was dry and somewhat burnt (see pic). I was unsure if it was supposed to be two chicken thighs or one and a half since that's what I received. The calabrian chilli hot honey was very tasting and saved the dish. I always ask for sauces on the side and glad I was able to control how much sweetness I needed for each bite. I was already in a crappy mood and didn't contest my food since it fit and just wanted to try and finish my carafe of mimosa before we needed to leave and watch the game at The Bank. They do have some fun upcoming happenings like a 4 course tequila paired dinner that I was intrigued to try but was sold out. It would be fun to come back and try a paired dinner.

Its…read moreusually hard to get a breakfast buffet wrong but unfortunately this buffet experience was lackluster. They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.

In the past we've had a Gimlet here, so we asked and they made us one while we waited, even though it wasn't featured on their online menu. Basically it's a pleasant gin with bright lime juice and probably simple syrup. Very refreshing, and served chilled with a slice of lime in an intricately-etched Nick & Nora coupe. I ordered a freshly-fried $16 Catfish Po' Boy, with lettuce and tomato and a little very lightly-spicy mayo-butter sauce on fresh French Bread. It's a generous enough sandwich that I ate it in two goes, and that bread really crisped-up beautifully flakey! Because we cannot resist, we also got an order of fresh-made deep-fried beignets, little randomly-shaped crispy pastry-dough treats in a sneezeable amount of powdered sugar.
