When they lifted it from the floor, I saw that the floor was coated with white drywall dust. So *both* sides of the tarp were dirty. Lack of attention to detail and lack of respect for the client's home. Not ok. At some point I suggested we cover the granite countertop where one of the employees was working to protect it from damage in case a tool should accidentally drop on it. Instead of accommodating my (reasonable) request, he resisted, saying "Nothing will drop". Not ok.

He's also considerate. When a contractor says he'll be there at, for example, 9 am what usually happens? You wait and wait and wait. Not with Lou. He comes on time and if he is running late, he calls to apologize and tell you how late he'll be. The truth is that contractors budget time for a job and sometimes when they get there discover it needs more time. So they can get delayed.
