I had called Vaccarella Electrical Services on a freezing winter's day. I had lost power off and…read moreon for a few weeks to 25% of the house, hesitating to call an electrician in fear of a big ticket price tag of having to replace the circuit breaker panel. I had called other electrician companies and all their emergency service appointments were all booked up. Calling Vaccarella Electric Services should have been my first call. Roberto picked up and wanted to solve the issue immediately over the phone. My initial diagnosis was completely off and in less than 3 minutes Roberto was able to determine the issue based on what I told him and answering his questions of what I saw. He told me to head outside and look at the piping connected to the meter. When I did, the meter was throwing up, "888888." That confirmed to me Roberto's diagnosis. It turned out to be a PSEG matter which saved me from having to get charged a service call. Roberto didn't have to pass up a chance at a service call, but in doing so has earned my trust and future business. My family and I thank you Roberto!

Both Benny and his lovely wife provide outstanding service that seems to be a rarity these days. He advised me that he needed to install emergency disconnect which he didn't tell me and he wanted additional $400. He told me its the code requirement. I agreed. He replaced the electrical panel and installed the emergency disconnect. He gave the Certificate of Insurance for Mr. Ray Mechanical LLC. However, I found out the electric permit was issued to a different company. He work failed inspection because the emergency disconnect was not needed. He misunderstood the code. The town's inspector had to write down the code for him. Then, he had to add main breaker to the panel. I refused to pay the $400 which was for the unnecessary emergency disconnect. I had to spend two more half days to facilitate the revision of the panel work and coordinate town's re-inspection. Ramon, the owner of Mr. Ray Mechanical insists he has electrical license. He does not. Anyone wants to hire him to do electrical or any home improvement project should ask him to show his license.
