I can't say enough great things about Grounded Electric! As soon as I had an issue, they made themselves available and came out promptly to help. All of my smoke and carbon monoxide detectors needed to be replaced, and they took the time to recommend the right equipment, came back quickly to install everything, and made the entire process incredibly easy. While they were here, they also installed a new Ring camera doorbell for me and handled everything quickly and professionally. What really sets Grounded Electric apart is that they always go the extra mile. They didn't just install the devices and leave -- they tested everything thoroughly and even helped connect and set everything up with my Wi-Fi to make sure it was all working properly before they left. Reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure the job is done right. It's such a relief to have an electrician you can trust and know will be there when you need them. I am a repeat customer and this is always the case. A+ service all around. read more

I contracted out Grounded Electric to install an EV charger for my electric vehicle. I had done my research and had purchased the parts needed for the install. I ran the heavy gauge wire myself, along with purchasing the proper breaker for the panel. My panel was full already, but a triplex breaker would allow me to squeeze this in. When I had requested quotes from various electricians, the responses were all over the place. One place refused to come out at all because I ran my own cable and they don't work on other people's work (rudely might I add). A few didn't respond at all. Other companies tried to upsell me into a bigger panel or a sub-panel. When I questioned why my breaker wouldn't work, one got very defensive and argumentative. I wasn't insinuating anything, I truly just wanted to know why my plan wouldn't work. That same person also man-handled my brand new EV Charger. He opened my brand new, sealed charger (without permission) and proceeded to take the thing a part. I very concerned he was going to either break it with the force he was using or scratch it up with the knife he was using to get it out of the plastic wrap. Speaking with Barret was a breath of fresh air. Not only was he very professional, he was very accommodating as well. He was supposed to come the next morning, but later called to inform me he would be tied up. Instead of rescheduling, he was able to give me a quote when I described to him what I needed done and sending him some pictures. He asked if I was an "engineer" by the way I was describing everything to him and it sounded to him like I did my homework. On the day of work, his crew showed up and we went through the game plan. They were very professional and their craftsmanship is superb. I'm very particular about cable management and how things are done (which is why I ran my own cable), so I can really appreciate how clean and tidy everything is. We tested it the charger and everything worked as expected. I couldn't be happier with the service and the work that was completed. Highly, highly recommended read more

I've used Grounded Electric multiple times, and they're always quick to come to address concerns. I've had the same guys come to my house, and they're fabulous, respectful, knowledgeable and professional. Barrett, Bobby, Willy and Kevin are so kind and efficient. Even though I'm only calling because something is wrong, it's a pleasure to see them, and their rates are reasonable. Most importantly, they are down to earth and kind! It's really hard to find electricians, plumbers, etc who smile and are polite. Don't look anywhere else for an electrician because no one can beat the guys from Grounded! read more

My husband and I bought our first house this past July. Two nights ago, half of everything in that house that was electric started flickering, turning on and off. PSEG came and let us know it was an issue with our electrical panel located behind our meter. As someone who lost their childhood home to an electrical fire, this did not bode well with me, and my husband and I were petrified to say the least. First thing yesterday morning I drove to work and put a call into Grounded Electric. My call was returned within an hour, and two electricians were dispatched to my house immediately. I work 10 minutes from my home, and was plesantly shocked to see the two gentlemen waiting for me. Both of the electricians were extremely professional and automatically put me at ease. It was evident that they knew what they were doing and assured me they'd fix the issue. Both men checked every single breaker, switch, panel, light bulb - you name it, to correctly diagnose the issue. They spent hours in my home tightening what needed to be tighened; replacing what needed to be replaced; and making sure everything was functioning, and would continue to function throughout the years. By the time they finished all of the work, my husband and I were sure it was going to cost us an arm and a leg. It did not. The entire experience was a great one, and I high recommend Grounded Electrical to any homeowner! read more

Excellent service. They came to the house on time, it was a small job, they did everything I asked them to do . They were very nice both at the initial phone call and when they were at my house. I would recommend them. read more

Grounded Electric took care of an electrical outage in my old home, fitting me into their schedule and clearing up the problem within minutes. The nice guy on the phone warned me it might take a long time, a great deal of effort and a lot of money to find and identify the problem if it wasn't immediately evident, so I was primed for it to cost a bundle. But instead, they charged the minimum and found the issue right away. They were not only honest and not scammers, but also incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I plan to have them come back to do some work that isn't an emergency. It's nice to see young people going into a trade, and I love that they are local. read more

Grounded Electric installed two motion-detector LED lamps over my home garage last week. They came back to the house three times after they installed the lights for free to adjust the motion detector until it was just right! What a great bunch of guys!!! Awesome job!!! read more

These guys are highly selective about the types of jobs they want to do. I have a job to upgrade an electrical panel, install a few new outlets and convert some cabinet lighting from halogen to LED. Seems like a pretty straight forward project, right? Nope! Barrett, an owner, was all talk on the phone but afterwards he never returned a call or offered a quote. The economy must be really good if he's passing up jobs without even bidding on them! God bless bro... but you're killing your reputation because people like me don't like people like you...ESPECIALLY because I'm a REPEAT CUSTOMER! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! Barrett, Ryan and their team, including Bobby are all incredible. Smart, kind, efficient and accommodating! We moved into a new home and while I was installing a TV mount I accidentally cut a wire. They came on a Saturday to take care of us just to make sure we were safe. Nothing like great people who do great work! Thank you Grounded Electric! We're fans, appreciate you and highly recommend. We have also hired them to do all of the electrical work in our house, wouldn't have anyone else! read more

These guys were by far the most professional and attentive electricians i've ever dealt with.
