Will replaced the old fuse box with circuit breakers, ran new lines for the new appliances, wired for high hats, installed light fixtures, created new outlets, and replaced every old switch and outlet as requested. He made recommendations on products when I needed them. He is efficient, reliable, patient and a super nice and pleasant guy to work with. I was getting out the vacuum to clean up after he was finished, and out of the room came Will with his own dustpan and brush, having already cleaned up. You cannot go wrong with Lightwire!

This review is regarding a urgent job that Luis and team performed on the 4th of July…read more Long story short, the night of the 3rd, when replacing a lighting fixture, our main circuit breaker switch blew, and our entire house was without power (AC included). Luis picked up his phone ASAP around midnight and said he'd contact me and come by in the morning. He came in the morning once he found the new breaker he thought i needed. (Supply houses were closed given the holiday. Given the age of our panel, Luis recommended we switch out the panel so it could properly hold the new main switch and organized wires, as they no longer make the main switch that we had which broke. Luis left and came back with another member of his team about an hour later. As our electric panel is in the basement, they worked downstairs, even when we were not at the house. They worked for about 7 hours straight and restored our power. He even helped out by confirming the light fixture was installed properly. All of this was done with a really fair price, especially considering this was on July 4th. We've had no issues since the job was done, and are grateful for the job that was done.

They absolutely delivered. They installed three ceiling fans, added proper ground boxes, and completely redid sections of unsafe wiring that was old, brittle, and poorly handled before. What really stood out was their professionalism, they documented the entire process with photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Most importantly, my mom is extremely happy, and I feel so much better knowing her home is now significantly safer. Reliable, transparent, and clearly takes pride in their work. Highly recommend. I hired GroundElectric for a major electrical upgrade at my home in the Bronx, and the experience…read morewas excellent from start to finish. This was not a small job. It included a full service upgrade from 100A to 200A, a new panel, grounding and bonding throughout the house, correction of multiple inspection issues, new lighting, bathroom exhaust fan installation, staircase lighting, GFCIs, and additional interior work once the project was underway. Yonatan and his team handled all of it professionally, safely, and by the book. What stood out most was the level of care and transparency. Yonatan took the time to walk the house in detail, explain what was required by NYC code versus what was optional, and clearly outline the scope before any work began. When additional work made sense after opening things up, it was discussed first, priced clearly, and documented properly. No surprises. The crew was punctual, respectful of the home, and clearly knew what they were doing. The work is impeccable. The panel is clean and well-labeled, and everything functions exactly as promised. This is the kind of electrical work you want done once and done right, especially in an older NYC home. I would absolutely use GroundElectric again and recommend them without hesitation.
