With an ever evolving menu, Stir is always a pleasant dinning experience before or after a visit to the art musuem. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed even during busy lunch hours. Most recently had the chance to try the trout. The skin was well seasoned and crispy while the meat was moist and soft. Heads up: ask for bread if they do not readily serve it and consider calling ahead to make a reservation if you want to eat at peak lunch hours.

I ordered the flavorful pork belly with heirloom beans as my entree. The dish was a work of art, both visually and in the interplay of flavor and texture. The only problem was it came with only about two tablespoons of the delicious beans. Next time I order this dish, I will order an extra half-cup of beans in the tasty sauce. Also, I asked for the kimchi puree on the side, and I thout was better without the puree. My husband got the quiche with salad. The large portion of quiche was delicious, but the salad had too much dressing. This is a beautiful restaurant, and the server was friendly, which made for a nice experience for us.

Restaurant in the Philadelphia Art Museum. (You must have tickets to be in the museum. Also, they require a reservation which was easy and we made right when we got there.) We opted for the served, sit down restaurant over the museum Cafe. Totally worth it. The bread is...holy moley (eat it). The burger was honestly FANTASTIC. The Stir Chopped salad was mediocre so maybe add a protein to zhuzh up the salad. At the end, they surprise you with a pine nut almond cookie which was chewy and delectable. Can't wait to come back just to eat here.

I think lots of people skip the fine dining lunch experience because they think it's too pricey or they forget to make a reservation. It's so worth it compared to the cafe. The food is excellent and the service is great. We were surprised there wasn't any art on the walls but the design of the ceiling, the table tops and leather chairs were beautiful features.

Simply great. As the options around the museum are really limited, I ate here just out of convenience and didn't have any expectations, but the food is just amazing. I'll definitely visited again if I go to the museum.

Stir Chopped Salad ($10) with Salmon (additional $9) -- this is a half order, as the waiter kindly split our plates.

Staff here always good about making sure everything runs smoothly and it's a fun time. Their food options are pretty fairly priced and most are good picks. Haven't had everything personally, but the banh mi, bao buns, and kimchi fried rice are all decent. Crab rangoons, dumplings, and satay skewers were fine but I wouldn't get again and instead try something else. Drinks also good even at regular price. Fun spot for after work or with friends on the weekend. Thanks

Woo child!! To be young again!…read more it's my sister's annual birthday week and we finished the night off after walking philly for what felt like 2 hours (25 minutes) and stumbled upon this club! the bouncers at the door were hella friendly (thanks billy) and the security inside kept a tight room. we joined in upon like 4 birthday parties and a full bottle service. needless to say the shots being poured were plentiful. Thank you to the really nice bartender in the orange hat (also a millennial) who grasps the concept of 'it's so loud in here' like it's not a nightclub. anyway the prices of the drinks were great. Dear reader, Little…read moreGay Pub was quite easily one of our favourite spots in Philly. We went with a group two nights in a row, and everyone had such a great time both nights, which I think says rather a lot. It is not every place that earns an immediate return visit, let alone the very next evening. The music was good, the drinks were great, and the staff was super nice and friendly the entire time, which made the whole experience even better. The place was also really clean, and it never felt too crowded, which was especially appreciated with a group. There was room to actually enjoy ourselves without feeling packed in or shouted over. The rooftop was absolutely the crowd favourite and was so nice with the great weather. It really gave the whole place an extra bit of charm and made it very easy to settle in and stay a while. The location is also excellent, which made it a very convenient spot to come back to. Overall, this place delivered a thoroughly fun time, good drinks, and a very easy atmosphere to enjoy. We would absolutely go back and would happily recommend it.
