I heard good things about this little bar and grill tucked away off of the main drag of Butler Street in Lawrenceville. I finally had occasion to stop on a Wednesday afternoon around 3 PM when I was in the area. I ordered a couple Christmas sales on draft which range in price from $7.59-$8 a pint. I ordered their mushroom Swiss burger which came with fries. The burger was large & fries looked hand cut. Burger was good, not best I've had but decent. I ordered the Natoli (Italian sub) to go & Reuben to go, both with chips. They make housemaid chips, and I was afraid if I ordered fries, they would be soggy by the time I got home. A few of the chips were soggy as well, but they did package a few chips separately to keep them crispy. The match of chips that were with the Reuben were extremely salty so much so that I could hardly eat them, but the other chips were crunchy and decent for housemaid chips. I seen some pictures of the Italian sub and while it actually was very good in flavor, I didn't feel like there was this much meat in it as I had seen in other pictures of the same sandwich that other people had ordered. I got a quart of their homemade wedding soup to go-it was great! Their menu is huge for a bar and they have lots of different burgers, lots of different sandwich, choices, plenty of appetizers and a few entrées. So in terms of bar food, the menu was actually outstanding. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

A few steps up from a typical dive bar, but with a similar vibe. Outdoor seating is excellent, especially on a not-so-typical sunny day in Pittsburgh. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely try the burger - any of them - but you can't go wrong with the classic. The fries are super crispy and thick cut, which I tend to prefer. All-in-all, Stinky's is a great neighborhood spot to hang out with friends, grab and drink, and watch some sports.

Good sandwiches, okay wings, and great apps. The mashed potato balls stuffed with bacon and cheese were my favorite- and the sandwich was pretty great too. Wings were okay. Service was good but their prices were really steep for a casual bar/wings were pricey. Our tab was well over $110+ for 3 people having 1 beer each and some food. They charge $14 for 10 chicken wings so next time I'll just stick with a sandwich

This place doesn't stink in the slightest. It actually fucking slaps First and foremost I never order potato skins or things of that nature. After discovering how Stinky does them, I'll never eat them if they're not like this. They boil the whole potato, smash it, fry it THEN load it up with the topping. Thats how it's done I got the Real Whopper burger and this thing didn't disappoint. It was massive, cooked Pittsburgh rare, egg runs and massive bun Waitress was nice to us and helpful with recommendations. The spot itself is your typical sports bar. Nothing special there

Perfect sports bar, lots of TVs to watch multiple games. Good specials for food and drinks. Coming back to check out happy hour. Staff was quick and attentive even though it was very busy during. Coming back for March Maddness

Well I come here often .. I'm trying to figure out why I paid $17 for this salad and there is hardly any vegetables!! I literally paid for chicken cheese and lettuce I'm assuming.. very disappointed.. didn't eat it

Huge delicious menu. Lots of bar food options - menu is over 6 pages long!!! Something for everyone. Tons of beers and a full bar. They have parking in the back and street. They serve happy hour specials, some vegetarian dishes, have live music & over 21 HDTVs. Perfect spot to watch your favorite sports team!

Maybe I'm bias, maybe I like the staff, or maybe it's because stinkys is just an overall good place for whatever you're looking for. If you're familiar with Lawrenceville, you know that it does not have a shortage when it comes to culinary selections. You can walk down 1 mile of butler and find a variety of foods to satisfy your cravings. Despite all those options, and living in Lawrenceville, I somehow always find myself returning to stinkys. From the staff all the way to the chicken wings--I can't rave about stinkys enough. It's also a sports bar and has an outdoor area. I have nothing but compliments. Even on days where it's more quiet I still enjoy coming over here and chatting with friends/ the bar staff. I 100% checking it out if you haven't been already. My suggestion: try a burger and if you have room, some wings.

Being that I was in Pittsburgh and not Philly I was afraid that the Eagles game wouldn't be shown. The ladies at Stinky's hooked it up and tolerated my excitement. The food was great. Had wings and a few other fried things while waiting to see Billie Eilish. Great spot off the beaten path.

Great neighborhood sports bar. Lots of TVs and they play the audio when it's pens or Steelers games. The outdoor seating is also a dog favorite (and they have a special dog menu available). Wing specials are where it's at! Wednesdays starting at 6pm and during Steelers game. The awesome sauce and stinkers are our favorites. Also a fan of the fried zucchini appetizer. Huge menu including some random entrees, pizza, burgers and hoagies. TBH we've always stuck with the wings and burgers so can't comment much about the rest. Great staff always, and other than prime Steelers time it's easy to get a table.

Great place to grab some food and drinks. They have a nice size bar and outdoor options. They are dog friendly which is great.

Stinky's is good. The folks who work there are super nice and welcoming and the place feels like it's meant for locals and people around the neighborhood which I enjoyed. My garlic parmesan wings, however, were not great; they didn't have a ton of flavor, took a while to come out, and were a little over-cooked. Still, I ate them, but probably wouldn't order them again. 4 stars because the beer and drink selection are plentiful and again everyone who works there is so nice. Also, the seating outside is amazing. It's a cute spot with good people and a staple if you're looking for a laidback spot in what is otherwise bougie Lawrenceville.

We stopped in on a Tuesday night and opted to sit at the bar since it wasn't busy. Something important to note is that when we arrived, the music was playing softly in the background. While the prices were decent, the service was not. Our waitress came over to us after our appetizers arrived, I asked for a refill, we made eye contact, she ignored me, and turned around. It took another ten minutes before I was able to get a refill, and she never asked again for the rest of the time we were there. The people sitting beside us arrived later and ordered similar food to us, and they somehow received their food quite some time before ours came out. I am almost certain the bartender forgot to put in our order. Halfway through our meal (which was okay at best), someone turned the music up so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. I'm pretty sure "Brandy, You're A Fine Girl" played three times in a 30-minute window. It felt like we were intruding on a private party despite there being maybe seven other people at the bar. Despite clearly being done with our food, it took us another 30 minutes to get our checks. If you're looking for cheap bar food and don't mind repetitive music at varying levels of volume and being ignored by your bartender, give Sidelines a try.

We were disappointed when it closed. On our way back from Cavacini's nursery last week, we passed by and saw that it was open! We turned around to see what was up. It is a place dedicated to the sport of soccer/football (hence "the pitch") much of the inside is the same, but with lots of British football/soccer swag and games on every TV. It is even cooler than the last place! Brian, one of the owners, was on hand at the bar the first time we went and so friendly and helpful and chatty. We enjoyed his company. We shared a Garlic and Rosemary Grilled chicken sandwich. It came on a lightly toasted bread. It was delightful! A nice balance and blend of rosemary and garlic flavors with spinach and tomato and a great aioli. Side of fries were crisp and lightly seasoned. The ranch dressing was the just-right creamy texture and a great mix of herbs, buttermilk and mayo ( ?) This time, ( couldn't stop thinking about that sandwich!) we brought our pup and sat in the cozy courtyard with umbrella tables, a TV for soccer games and a few outdoor games as well. Brian ( again!) came to check on us and brought water for Rooney. Our order this time was a smash burger for Todd and that chicken sandwich. The chicken was perfect, but this time it was on a small hoagie roll, which dampened the flavors, but was still delicious. Todd declared the smash burger just right medium rare. Make The Pitch a stop in Lawrenceville! You won't be disappointed in the food or the service! And if you are a football/ soccer fan, all the better. It was also a great choice because they stay open late when so many local places close early. They do have a limited food menu but I have never eaten there. They have a variety of drinks ranging from non alcoholic to beer or wine, even cider. The cocktail menu is where it's at though. There are so many choices and some unique combinations. It's been fun trying so many. I think my favorite drink on the menu is Galeophobia which comes in a fun shark glass. It's fruity without being too sweet and the macadamia liquor adds just the right amount of nuttiness in the background. I seriously could drink several of them. The Spork House Punch is another favorite. Immediately *pinkies up* with the fancy little crystal mug. The pear and lemon gives such great flavor and it's well balanced and an easy drinker. It also feels like a good value with the amount you get. This time my fiancé tried Elvis' death and loved the toilet mug.
