This place is amazingly good and delicious. We came in right before the dinner rush but kept ordering so much food that we ended up leaving after many other families. The Tom Kha soup was the perfect meal as both me and my boyfriend were coming down with a little stuffy nose. We asked for 0 spicy level and it was great. Honestly, just the soup and rice would have been plenty for us (rice is extra). We got shrimp blankets as an appetizer and they came out pipping hot. The fried rice was also really good but a little too spicy for me (we got 2-3 spicy level). Sticky Rice is a definite monthly go to spot for dinner! The food is authentic, well seasoned and DELICIOUS! There's no need to add any additional sauce to the food. Extra chili oil if you want more of a kick to it. The portions are large and worth every penny you pay. Our favorites are chicken or beef pad thai, beef pad see ew and pineapple fried rice. We can feed a family of 5-6 people with these 3 orders. Level 2 (mild-medium) is a good spice level. Level 3 spice is - so if you can't handle spicy, stick to level 1-2. I recommend calling in and placing your order. There's usually a wait of 30-45 minutes for pick-up, but we don't mind it for good food and service. The restaurant recently reopened the dining area for dine-in. Very clean and friendly staff. Great spot in Murphy,TX for Thai food. Give it a try if you haven't! read more

I called for 2 orders of crab fried rice. The rice was not fully cooked and raw. I called the restaurant and they agreed to make another one but I had to bring back one order that I have not touched. Really Great food! My all time favorite is the Herb Fried Chicken. Comes with fried rice and chicken pieces that have been breaded and fried. I like spicy so I order it hot level 3 and afd hot oil or level 4 and its plenty hot enough! I usually get 2 meals out of it unless I'm really starving then i eat it all and am miseribly over full for hours. The portion is large. I was disappointed the Dining Room was still closed. They went takeout/delivery only. Finally, this year, they opened up for dining in again. Great! Today, though, my wife and I dined in for lunch. The crispy egg rolls were okay, but the sauce they served with it was overly sweet, like it had a lot of HFCS in it. Otherwise, they were good. Our main courses arrived, and they looked... different. Keep in mind, these were the same entrees we get frequently. The green curry looked a bit odd, but to my taste it was okay but not as good as it used to be. Hands down the BEST thai food in the DFW area. I came across this restaurant a couple of years ago around their opening, and the quality has not deterred one bit. My go to orders would be the Pad Kee Mow and the Herb Chicken Fried Rice. Pad Kee Mow is my usual order at Thai restaurants, but none have been able to compare to Sticky Rice's. The fried chicken that comes with the Herb Chicken Fried Rice is pretty unique and adds a good twist to an otherwise traditional fried rice. I would be cautious with the spice levels, as a 5 on the Pad Kee Mow is quite spicy while a 5 on the fried rice considerably mild. This time around I went ahead and tried the Pineapple Fried Rice with Tofu and Pad Kee Mow with tofu. When the dishes came out they had a lot of tofu compared to when ordered with meat. Nonetheless, both dishes still tasted fantastic. I believe everyone that even remotely enjoys Thai food should try this place out, you will not regret it. read more
