    Spinach Artichoke Dip
    Phil W.

I've heard some good things about sticky face from my bbq friends. We took a drive out here and we walked in to a quaint little restaurant and were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted to dine in. We got our order in and got our food rather quickly . I like to think I know better sometimes but the spin dip we got, was soo good and rich that those fresh cooked chips and dip got the best of me. I barely had room for the two meat combos we ordered (brisket/burnt ends/half chicken/pulled pork). The brisket was thick sliced well done and piled high. Moist and lightly sauced. Just the way I like it. Half chicken had a thick layer of sauce, but was a touch dry but not overly done(pretty good). The burnt ends, were cooked perfectly. Fell apart in the mouth. Pulled pork, could have done with a little less sauce but again very flavorful. I opted for the loaded fries, drowning in cheese and bacon it was the straw that got me. The richness of that dip and these fries put me into a food trance. Even the buttery broccoli couldn't pull me back. Fantastic service especially considering that there was only one person running the place the entirety of our visit. Do yourself a favor and go give them a visit if you're in the area. Definitely in the top 5 bbq places I've been to.

Ordered takeout from Sticky Face BBQ...the Buffalo chicken wings were awesome...LOVED them...the ribs, however, not so much...just fine. I would definitely get wings again but no ribs...just didn't fall off the bone and were tough. Also, a suggestion would be to have larger sides included in the cost when ordering 8 ribs versus 2 or 4.

Another takeout order, this time Sticky Face, we ordered grilled chicken with baked beans and applesauce, pulled pork diner with collard greens, pork lollipops and a labella panini.the panini came on a roll, kind of odd, but still good. My chicken dinner had fries, which I didn't order, but one of the other dinners were missing their fries, so it worked out. Food was good , collards could have used some seasoning. Baked beans were very good. Pork lollipops were good. Not a fan of the apple sauce, large chunks of apple with skins still on . Overall a good meal.

I visited an hour before closing as it was a last-minute decision to try this place. None the less, the host was very welcoming, smiled, and attentive. The service was also quick and allowed us to leave before closing. There was also plenty of free street parking in front of and across the street of Sticky Face BBQ. I ordered the Stickysaurus beef ribs with black beans and sweet potato fries and a Beef brisket sandwich with a side of fries. The portion was huge. My friend only finished his beef brisket and had to help me eat the Stickysauru beef ribs. We also took all the fries home as we couldn't finish it. They also have condiments, but you need to ask for them. The amount of foot was definitely worth $30. It was all tasty, but the food was a bit dry. Tl;dr - amazing service, tasty, but a bit dry

Pork Ribs with Mac and Cheese

Was really really good. Sauce was interesting, definitely what is in the name for sure. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they were out of the collards I really wanted that. Every thing is great though. Would definitely recommend.

Mac & cheese with pulled pork

First thing to say about this place is that the portion sizes are HUGE. The mac and cheese with pulled pork is pretty good, and is drizzled with barbeque sauce on top. The beef burnt ends are extremely tender, but are on the fatty side. The fries were a bit cold by the time they got delivered, but that's because of the weather. Overall, a good place with good service!

We did take out for Father's Day. Some of the items have a family dinner. We did the Beef Brisket Family Dinner and it came with 6 sides. They told us on the phone it could feed 4-6 people. My family (5 adults) love BBQ and can eat until in a food coma, so I was worried it would not be enough - it was MORE than enough! The brisket was thick huge slices. It was cooked perfectly and very tender. You could cut it with a fork - we were using plastic silverware, so the knife worked wonderfully. The brisket by itself, I give 6 stars! As for the sides, we just did 2 orders of the French fries, sweet potato fries, and collard greens. We also added 4 Pork Ribs to try and an order of Fried Green Tomatoes. It also came with 4 take out cups of BBQ sauce and 2 cups for dipping the sweet potato fries. The BBQ sauce was on the sweeter side, but with just a hint of sweetness. It went perfectly with the brisket. The French fries were like most places - a little cold, but it was to go and the amount we ordered does take a while, so it was expected. The Sweet Potato fries had cinnamon on them, but not overpowering. It was just an aftertaste which was perfect. The collard greens were okay. The Fried Green Tomatoes were good and similar to most places in the area. They came with ranch on the side. I love fried green tomatoes I would definitely order them again. I did not have any ribs, but was told they were overcooked. They were extremely busy, so it may have just been a fluke. The major downside is they do not have parking and are in the middle between two intersections. It only has street parking on a busier road in NT. We went during Covid-19. They bring it to your car and we were down a little ways for them to get it to us. I know the area, so if I went to eat there again, I would probably park on a side road and walk halfway down the road to get to it. This is the reason for 4 stars.

Burnt ends sandwich and sweet potato fries

Just tried their burnt ends sandwich. Wow...what a sandwich. The burnt ends were huge and wonderfully flavored and oh so sticky. I should have skipped the bread and just got the ends. The sweet potato fries with the honey butter are always top notch too.

This was our first time to sticky face BBQ and it exceeded our expectations. The wait staff was beyond friendly and attentive. We were a party of 5 with 3 adults and 2 kids. The kids enjoyed a huge bowl of home made Mac and cheese from the kids menu. My husband ordered the create your own combo which consisted of beef ribs, pulled pork and brisket with a side of baked beans and French friends. I ordered the pulled pork dinner with French fries (for the kids) and baked potato. Mom ordered spinach dip. Everything came out hot and ready to eat. The portions were huge for everyone. We have lots of leftovers. The price was worth it. We will def be going back. The owner came over and asked us how our meal was and we got to enjoy a nice bbq conversation with him. He was friendly and welcoming. Thank you sticky face for a wonderful dinner.

We got a Groupon for sticky face and decided to try it tonight for take out. So happy we went with our choice tonight. We ordered the bbq combo which had beef brisket, two ribs, pulled pork and bbq chicken. It was out of this world!! The brisket was my favorite on the plate. For the sides we got Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries which were also very good. I can't wait for our next meal at sticky face hoping it at their restaurant next time but it was great take out!! It's a must go to bbq place in Buffalo.

    Prime rib
    Holly S.

So..... I ordered a medium prime rib. Got well done and charred. The greens were vinegar based and canned. Broccoli was clearly frozen and over cooked. Friend ordered beef ribs. Looked good, she generally had no complaints. Sweet potato fries were frozen and bagged. She tossed the dipping sauce, which was nondescript at best. I ordered pulled pork Mac and cheese. It is overcooked, soggy, and clearly put of a box. Watered down and tasteless. I would have been VERY upset had I not gone in with a Groupon. Would not recommend. Will not be returning. Was never offered a water refill. Staff was pleasant. Facilities were clean, including the bathroom.

What I received was a rack of cut ribs in a tray covered in sauce. A short time later I decided to try the ribs while they were still warm. What I discovered was that the bark on the top side of the rib to be burnt. I fought to chew through them because I was pretty hungry. That explains why the burnt ribs were sold to me covered in sauce and not as I ordered. There was some meat on the underside of that rib that I was able to consume. I called the carry out restaurant and spoke to the owner and advised him of my experience. I asked him why my order was covered in sauce and not as I ordered them. I also told him that I believe the sauce was meant to cover up the burnt bark, He disagreed with my opinion and told me to return the uneaten ribs and that he would refund the cost of what I hadn't consumed. I was not about to drive from Lancaster into the city to return a 1/3 rack of ribs, that didn't make sense to me. Normally, I wouldn't care, but the ribs were very expensive at $42.00. Just want to let other folks know to check their order before leaving the establishment. UBBQ4me NO MORE!

It was not busy and we didn't have to wait for a table which is a plus. I ordered smoked turkey, with salad and sweet potato fries and a pg13 which was ginger beer, mint and I added a shot of vodka. When our food came out I had to question what was going on with the sweet potato fries because they had a thick coating and looked beer battered, not at all indicated on the menu. I asked the server, Kelsey W., and she paused and said yea I don't know for sure but if you can't have gluten I wouldn't eat them. I was annoyed at the situation and just took them off my plate but I understand this can happen. The server seemed annoyed and goes on to blame me and says I should have told her. Now will say I did have to go through the salad ingredients and pick most of them out, she didn't ask me about allergies either. And it's not common to add a beer batter coating to sweet potato fries without indicating it in the menu. The menu should be updated asap for other guests. Any other server would apologize for the situation and ask how they can make it better and not blame for a customer for a misunderstanding. After that I realized there was an extra sauce on the tray, I asked her to check with the kitchen to see what was in it, is it safe for me to eat? She came back 15 minutes later and said she will check and have an answer soon. It was not busy, this was not acceptable. Again clearly not showing any help for your guest with a food issue. This showed me she had zero concern or care about this or trying to smooth it over. Finally, towards the end of the meal I realized my water was leaking, had thought it was condensation as it was hot out. My glass, water cup had a huge crack in it. You would have hoped that someone would have seen it before serving it to someone. Clearly a safety issue. I hope I didn't ingest glass. I handed it back to our server and told her this glass needed to be tossed in the trash. Her response was another blank look, she didn't really care and just gave me another shallow I'm sorry. The rest of my meal was tasty and it was a large portion. Everyone else at my table had nice looking food and was happy with it. I will personally not come back here. District 37- it wouldn't hurt to update your menu and add what is gluten safe and indicate what kind of coating is on your sweet potato fries because a lot of people who choose these have special dietary needs. You should also train your staff to help bring up allergy issues with your guests and have more empathy if an issue arises. If this is something a server isn't able to work on they might consider an alternate employment opportunity.

The owner stopped by the table and conversed a few other times he was walking by. Their complimentary chips and salsa are heavenly. I need to go back already for more chips and dip. My fiancé ordered the tacos... his three were carne asada, adobo grilled shrimp, and the pork belly. He struggled to pick a favorite. He loved the sauce on the pork belly, and decided the carne asada was his favorite. I went with the shrimp fajitas. Very good sized meal. The shrimp were delicious. The NA one unfortunately didn't have any heat or flavor at all of the jalapeno in the actual drink, but it was ok. My friend enjoyed his watermelon drink, but only had one because it was a bit sweet. It had a lot of pork in it and I enjoy the hominy corn, which you don't see on many menus. My friend really enjoyed the shrimp as did I; it was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The beans that came with the fajita were quite bland, which was disappointing. All in all, I would give them another shot.
