1 Star - Stay away from STG Auto Group Bought an Acura RDX here on 3/13/26 and it was hands down the worst car-buying experience I've ever had. They lied about add-ons being mandatory, claiming we needed them to get a lower interest rate. That's not true. I even found paperwork during signing that clearly said the add-ons were optional. When I questioned it, the salesperson literally admitted he doesn't like working there because of how they do business. They also told me dealers can't mark up interest rates in California anymore, which is false. Later, someone from their team accidentally confirmed the bank approved me at a LOWER rate than what I was given. We put $5,000 down ($2,700 cash), and they refused to give a receipt for the cash. The car had a brake issue the SAME DAY we drove it home (braking on its own + warning light). It's now been in their shop for almost 3 weeks with: no updates conflicting stories constant runaround I was hung up on by their finance manager and even dealt with someone who gave me info and later turned out they have me a name of someone that did not even work there. This place has zero integrity. Just pressure tactics, lies, and terrible service after the sale. Save yourself the headache--go somewhere else. These guys are scammers: Sales: Georgio (should be how you spell it) Sales Manager: Anthony (bald with tattoos on his neck) Financial Manager: Chris A. (Very childish when speaking to you, over talks you and hangs up on you mid conversation) Fake guy: Tony Suarez

    My Porsche, their LOSS.

I'll leave my review on my experience with STG next week when I have more time. I leave honest reviews not lies because someone asked me to.

    Bait and Switch

The reason for the one star is the bait and switch tactics by this dealership. I understand dealerships need to make money on cars they buy. STG made me a very generous offer of 15,000 over the phone. I even verified whether my vehicle would be subject to reappraisal after inspection. I was told no, that it was "guaranteed," which led me to believe 15k was what I would get (lie #1). I made the one hour drive to Montclair and waited another hour for my vehicle to be inspected. I was then offered 14,700 due to a leaking shock, which I was unaware of, and brakes that needed to be replaced (lie #2). I know this was not accurate because I had the tires replaced less than 1,000 miles ago and was told I had 30 to 40 percent brake life remaining. At that point, I asked for my keys so I could leave. The inspector said he would speak to the manager. He returned 15 minutes later and said 14,700 was the best offer. I took my keys and left. Before I even reached the freeway, the manager called me. He explained why I should take 14,700 and said it was a fantastic offer, which I agreed it was. He talked over me and was very pushy until I told him to stop and let me speak. I explained that my issue was with the principle of the deal. He then went into a speech about how he is honest (lie #3) and trying to get me the best deal possible. We both explained our positions. I told him I understood he needed to make money and said, "after you fix the car, you're probably going to list it for 16 to 17k," based on similar cars on the lot. He responded that if he sold it for 17k he would make a huge commission, but claimed he was listing it for 15,500 and that there would be no profit after repairs. He continued to push, and I continued to decline the 14,700 offer based on principle. He eventually said he was not the one who texted me the offer, claiming he is just the inventory guy and does not deal with sales (lie #4). I pointed out that if he earns commission on a sale, then he clearly does deal with sales. I told him the statement was not honest and that it was fine we did not make a deal. Overall, I would not recommend this dealership as they wasted my time and fuel. They will find issues with your vehicle, and a "guaranteed" offer over text can change. just something to beware of when selling with STG.

Being on Hold for an Hour. Was supposed to talk to "April", but when they said my vehicle was on a test drive they lied I checked the GPS

Now I see why so many 1 or low star reviews of this place on Yelp and Google. I had no issues with sales area of the lot, but like any dealership they'll blow up your phone and tell you anything you want to hear just for to you buy a car. But, soon as you drive off the lot it's not their problem. I understand buying a used vehicle is a risk, but less than a week with vehicle and already having transmission overheating issues? Their 30 day/1,000 Mile warranty where it's 50% parts 50% labor coverage is a lie because they'll just let your vehicle sit and lie over the phone. On Top of having you on hold for an hour. I do not recommend their services department. If you do decide to buy from their sales department please make sure you bring a mechanic with you or have legal services on stanby. Their little "checklist" they do is crap. They just turn car on and make sure it doesn't show codes on dash and it can pass smog. They aren't actually verifying if the vehicle can run without overheating or have any other issues. PLEASE CHECK THE CARFAX.

They didn't fulfill their promise. They promised to provide us with the missing carpet for the pickup truck in one week before the deal was made. I didn't receive it after a week and went to follow up. They promised another week. Today, it's another 2 weeks , I am here and waiting for the salesman . I will let you guys know if there is any response.

If I could give zero stars I would. Please read and listen to the other bad reviews this place will scam you. I purchased a car with them I told them I wanted to finance with schools first they said okay we can do that. I sign all the papers and they come back and mention that they don't have the title it can take a month or two to get it so schools first might not finance the loan. They said I can pay and get the title expedited. I said no I'll wait I want to finance with schools first (I have an audio recording of this BTW). They come back (and lie) and say their manager is going to pay out of pocket and get it expedited cool right. Two weeks pass I get two letters one from Global Credit Union and one from Schools First both of them congratulating me on my auto loan. I had two auto loans. How you may ask? The dealership flat out LIED TO MY FACE. They looked me dead in the eyes and lied with no remorse. That's who you're buying a car from if you come here. Now I'm left with the mess of trying to untangle my TWO LOANS. The most upsetting lie about all of this. I called global credit union asking if they received the title of the car from the dealership and when... they received it the day I signed the papers for the car. THAT MEANS THEY TRIED TO STEAL MONEY FROM ME "PAYING" TO EXPEDITE A TITLE THEY ALREADY POSSESSED. If you don't want to be lied to and robbed go to literally any other dealership. Attached is a transcript of the audio recording where DANIEL was told clearly that I wanted to finance with schools first NO OTHER CREDIT UNION. Either he doesn't understand what words mean or he's just a slimy piece of shit.

He was very honest about the history of the vehicle we went to see, addressed all the concerns we had with the history report as well. I may be wrong but I believe he is a one-man show. He purchases, inspects, repairs himself if viable, and sells the vehicles. He was also hands-off in the best way possible, letting us take our time looking over the vehicle without hovering so we could discuss any matters we wanted to without feeling like we were being listened in on. He allowed us to test drive the vehicle without him present and also took us for a test drive to display his confidence in the vehicle's performance. I believe all the vehicles he has listed on his website are at or below market value so his pricing is rather transparent. Similar vehicles we had gone to see were priced $1-2k more than what Arian had ours listed at. After purchase, we genuinely felt like Arian's main focus was not to sell us car and complete the sale, but to make sure we were confident in our purchase and made the decision that was right for us. I have already referred some family members and if I need another vehicle in the future, I will definitely be coming to Arian at Baron Elite first. Thank you Arian for the smoothest car buying experience we have ever had.

Driving from north Hollywood to get the car that I wanted I would say was worth it for me…read moreespecially other dealerships that I couldn't go to that literally wanted me to sell my soul. I love my car but just know that used cars prices are higher in $$$ due to the inflation. Pay attention to the total price of what you are paying than you payments. Your literally buying a old car with new car prices & more. No lie I needed the car badly for work so this info couldn't stop me The process was so long but the people that work with me there were so great. The only thing I would warn about is to make sure you do a through inspection with the car (drive the heck out of the drive test to make sure the light engine doesn't go off) and make sure you get it done at the dealership no matter how long it takes !!! Do not leave the lot without getting everything taken care of. Trust me . I had a couple issues with my purchase and dealing with Bridgecrest was a horrible experience from my monthly payment to my warranty with the car . Don't have high hopes for them especially during these uncertain times (Covid). My only advice to be on top of your account with them and record any interaction with them as the reps share inconsistency in information. The warranty process is even worse,I gave up . Luckily now , my car doesn't have issues And I can enjoy it Hopefully this help Happy car hunting

Don't sell cars that need repairs within 30 days of purchase or 5 months…read more I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime in April 2024. Within 30 days, the vehicle developed mechanical problems. Rather than resolving these issues at the dealership level, I was directed to use the SilverRock warranty. Despite continued repairs, the vehicle required a complete engine replacement in October 2024. Now in 2025, the vehicle is once again displaying a check engine light, and I am currently addressing possible transmission issues. This has been a long-term reliability concern that has required repeated service visits and significant time and effort. My review is shared for transparency so that other consumers can make an informed decision. I recommend that buyers carefully review vehicle history, inspection reports, and warranty coverage before proceeding with a purchase.
