The beers are delicious! Plus, the food is a little different than most brew pubs. It is a bit of a step up with interesting dishes and flavors that are a little out of the ordinary. read more

We found this place from the Yelp app. So glad we did. So far I have been here twice. The food was great on both occasions. The bartenders are great. LOVE the Wacky Wheat beer! The sweet potato fries come with a dipping sauce that is like a sweet frosting. Amazing! Really good burgers too!! And ask for a pickle. They are good. read more

German Plate, fish and chips, wings, burgers......dammit everything is good

Awesome place to grab a brew or some great food. The environment can either be a restaurant or pub feel, depending on where you sit. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and craft beers. Bring your children or your significant other. I assure you, you will love it. read more

I've been to Stewart's a handful of times and have enjoyed my drinks and meals very much! Only one time my waiter didn't seem to have menu knowledge but otherwise service and menu yields five stars!! read more

Go! The menu is delicious. Try the side salads, fries, Brussels sprouts, crab cakes and burgers. The drinks are solid, and their happy hour is worth the time. However, avoid the nachos- the are oddly void of flavor. If you're considering this bar, give it a try. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed. read more

We stopped by on the way home from the beach for lunch. Very pleasantly surprised to get the best crab cake sandwich ever and a very solid flight of beers. My husband had the fish and chips that had a generous portion of 4 pieces of thinly battered flakey white fish that he said was "spot on". We will be back!! read more

This is our go-to place! Great beer, awesome food. There's always something new on the menu every time we go that I want to try. The place is also never very crowded, and the service is excellent. Lots of TV's too for sports fans. read more

The beer was good. For an appetizer I had the Crispy Duck Wings and Pick & Peel Shrimp. Both came out great! For an entree I had the Pulled Short Rib & Tortellini. It looked like someone took a dump on my plate. The tortellini was overcooked and had a lot of water left over from cooking. That did not mix well with the mushroom demi glace. read more

Just moved to The Baltimore area from Bear Delaware. I was sure we could find something to fill the void of not being able to frequent Stewart's, but have not found anything to come close. Great food, great beer, great service every time. Can't wait for a reason to go back to Delaware so we can visit again. The 2 year casked aged bourbon barley wine ale they broke out is still the best beer I've ever had! read more

Spend a lot of time here! Great beer and relaxed atmosphere. Menu changes often which is cool! Great aps!

My family and I, sometimes with the in-laws, always go on half priced burger night and we always get well more than what we pay for. Try the jalapeño pasta salad and a good beer. read more

Terrific pub, great food and staff. Awesome selection of beers, nachos are the best!!! Come here often, has never disappointed.

We came here to catch a football game..place was pretty empty when we got there, fortunately we beat the crowd and got great seats right in front of the big screen. We drank the "Spaced Invader" and it was delicious and addicting! Had the pretzels and wings for an appetizer and the they really tasty. We will be going back, service was great, our waiter was awesome, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend! read more

I went to Stewarts Brewing Company for the first time back on January 15th, 2017. I was there with a date who lives locally to SBC and you came highly recommend. Your staff at the front door were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. We were seated within a minute or so. Our server was Paige and we were greeted with here upbeat personality. I was quickly learning the reasons why my date had chosen your place. We started out with drinks and Paige gave us some recommendations...beer for me and a martini for my date. Her choices were spot on and it was almost like she knew exactly what we would like. Paige also recommended appetizers and later on dessert. I have to say the tater tots and wings were awesome as well as the chocolate waffle dessert sorry I forgot what it's called. Thank you Paige and the rest of the staff at SBC for making it a great evening and I hope to come back soon. read more

If you have a passion for beer this is the place to go. The brewmaster is classically trained in the English style of beer brewing so their beer is a cut above other microbreweries in the area. We had their coffee stout and loved it. It had just the right bite and great body with the aroma of coffee. read more

I happen to stumble upon this place on Monday night, went straight to the bar. I met I believe terel and Glen ? Amazing bartenders! Both are a great pair! They knew their beer! Great suggestions! That terel was just wonderful, I honestly thought he was a manager till he told me otherwise! They should make that young man a manager! Both bartenders gave me the best derive I have had in a long time! read more

Easily the best beer in Northern Delaware and rivals that of even dogfish head and other top breweries. Food is excellent atmosphere is relaxed and not rowdy. My favorite bar by far read more

Best brewpub in Delaware....awesome food, awesome beers, and the service is usually awesome! Half-price burgers on Tuesdays = awesome!

Not too much to write about here, a typical local neighborhood type sports bar tucked into a strip mall. The menu is your typical line up of pub grub with a few more dinner entrees thrown on there to help round things out. The decor seems worn and laid out strangely especially around the bar. There are a few references to a Scottish theme here and there with a painting of a piper on the wall near the entrance, for example, but it never carries over and takes off. Ok, the best for last, the beer. Here is the bright spot of this establishment. They have about 6 or so house beers on tap with a few seasonal beers rotating through. The IPA is decent a bit light bodied but definitely enjoyable. The stout was ok but seemed a bit light in body too. They had a beer engine but sadly nothing to serve with it. I do love the cask so this always makes me sad when a beer engine is dormant. They also have Coors Light on tap......wtf!? If people are coming to your brewery and drinking Coors to such a degree that you are putting it on tap I have to scratch my head. If I were passing through and needed a beer I may stop in again but once was probably enough. read more

We went to Stewart's as we were heading up through Delaware to get to NJ. It is right off the highway--and we enjoy visiting breweries and wineries. It is located in a shopping center--but when you go in, it has a nice brewery/sports bar feel. They also have the beer kettles right in the restaurant. We went in and ordered the sampler of beers and the pork nachos. The sampler had a variety of beers ranging from light beers to porters and stouts. The beers were on the heavy side and some of them did not stand out-- however M really enjoyed the Nugget Seasonal IPA while K's favorite was the Wacky Wheat. We definitely would have had a pint or two if we were not driving for the rest of the day. The pork nachos were huge--in fact we did not even wind up ordering lunch because they nacho portion was so large. It was also very tasty! They also looked like they had some cool weekly promotions. We have recommended this place to a few friends that live in the area and may be back if we are traveling through Delaware again. read more

Beer is a 5 out of 5, hands down. Usually you get taken care of well at the bar. However the staff is and always has been atrocious in the dining area. I'm not one to leave even a bad tip, much less nothing at all, however this is the only place I've left nothing not once but twice. The first occasion, we seemed to not be taken seriously as patrons due to the age of a few people I was with (under 21 except for me). Took our order, delivered food, delivered the check. No silverware, no 'how is everything,' no 'did you need a refill/another beer.' The second time was at a bar top in which our "waitress" was annoyed at our very presence (we keep to ourselves, aren't rowdy or demanding). She would take drinks and not ask for refills, she was extremely rude, and even tapped me in the back with her serving tray when she noticed I was at the bar getting my drinks since we had waited over a half hour for her to come back to even acknowledge of us. While both of these people don't still work here, I can't help but notice that whoever is in charge of hiring and training is still hiring rude, inconsiderate morons. I'll sit at the bar, thanks. read more

I have been here several times and have not been disappointed. We went yesterday to watch football since they have the Sunday ticket and show all games. We sat at a bar table instead of the bar and the service was excellent. My beer was never empty before I was asked if I needed a new one. We had the seasonal pumpkin beer which tasted great and nachos to snack on. They were so big we didn't finish. All in all it's a great place to go with reasonable prices. Will be back! read more

Not a good experience this time. I have been here a dozen times over the years and this is my first review. Up until now, I've had a good experience dining here. My fiance and I rec'd a gift card for Christmas and decided to go there Sunday evening for our "date night". We arrived about 7pm and it was not very busy at all. Most of the tables were open and the majority of the guests there were all seated at the bar. I ordered the fish and chips which were generous portions (I coudn't eat it all) and my fiance ordered a special called the "Oopie Basket" which is full of deep friend goodies and a grilled cheese sandwich. I have no complaints about the food. Our issue was with the service. Our server, a young male with a sloppy, overgrown goatee was our server. He wasn't wearing a name badge and did not identify himself. It was slow so in between service, he was sweeping the floors and watching tv. He was extremely unfriendly and slow. We actually felt like were bothering him. Clearly he didn't want to be there. Or maybe he was having a bad day. Regardless, he made us uncomfortable. My fiance loves the beer there and got the "Monk" (high alcohol content....they only serve you 3!). I did not drink. Once our food was served it took him a while to "recognize" the empty glasses on our table and refill them (even though he was in close proximity the entire time sweeping the floors and watching tv). When our food was served, he did not check to see if everything was ok or if we needed ketchup (which I had to go and retrieve from the bar myself!). After we finished eating, we pushed our plates to the edge of the table to signify we were finished. He walked by several times, looked at the table and kept on going. Finally, literally 11 minutes later (we timed him), he came by and asked if we were ready for our check. Unbelievable. My fiance did not want to leave a tip, but I left 10% because I don't believe in not tipping....unless the service was really awful. Normally, we are excellent tippers (20-25%...as we know how hard servers work and how little they are paid). I would go back there for the quality of the beer and food but if and when I do, I will make sure we do not get that same server again. We didn't get his name, but I will reconigize him again. read more

Beer is the main attraction - backed by a creative kitchen. Wild boar burger was delicious, smoked brisket got two thumbs up too. If you can try the house mustard - do! We had pretzel sticks and the mustard stole the show. Attentive staff, casual somewhat loud atmosphere. read more

Half priced burgers on Tuesday. The best thing about the burgers is they are cooked to order. If you ask for Med-Rare, that is what you get. They could be a bit more generous on the toppings, but the right temperature is more than half the battle on a burger. I had a calamari appetizer. It was cooked to perfection. Could have used a bit more spice to it, as it was advertised as 'lightly dusted with cayenne pepper.' A bit too light. It came with a marinara sauce. They called it something else, but that's what it was...no more fancy than that. Not the best companion to the light spice on the calamari, but tasty. Outstanding beers brewed in house and good folks. I had their stout and porter and each were outstanding examples of their class. Real bristol dart boards and a real shuffleboard table, no coins, all quality. The rest of the menu is basic pub food, but from what I sampled, it's worthy of more than a few evenings. They have a few specials to augment their standard menu, so it looks like they try to keep their menu reasonably fresh. Definitely a win. Family friendly. read more

Fantastic crispy St. Louis port "Wibs" and great brews. Friendly staff and brew masters treaty to talk about their trade.

I would like to say that Stewarts Brewing was busy but, No! The fries were not fresh with my Chicken Cordon Sandwich and old tasting bacon on the Stewart Club. Just not impressed with them overall. When your crowd is 45-50 something's not right. read more

I stopped in for happy hr just before 5:00 today There were four people at the bar and two bartenders. It took a while for them to even acknowledge me. When I finally got the oyster stout it tasted more like a coffee stout it didn't have a briny taste at all. The lady bartender seemed like she couldn't be bothered. She was way to busy socializing with the waitresses and waiters fooling around. I would hope the owner takes notice. read more

Great pub food. Beer selection is amazing. Service is excellent. A go to restaurant if you are near Route 40/Pulaski Highway.

This is my go to place when this Jersey Boy does some tax free shopping. The burgers, salads and appetizers are all above average. I like their wild game specials myself. This is normally a good low fat choice. The house brews are also outstanding. Never had a server who wasn't knowledgeable of the food or brews. The staff have always been courteous, friendly and attentive to our needs. Great place to stop after beating NJ out of their sales tax. read more

We were regulars at Stewart's. We went anywhere from every weekend to every other weekend. The beer and food are always amazing. Lately the hostesses have been telling us the wait is 10 minutes only for it to turn into 30 plus. We also had an instance where the hostess told us the wait would be over an hour and that she heard Buffalo Wild Wings down the street had good food! I mean who says that! Then recently we tried to go out for my husbands bday. Called and asked if they took reservations because we have seen reserved tables before. The hostess took my name, asked what time we would be there and how many people. When we get there I tell her I called and made the reservation. She had my name written down but proceeds to tell me they don't take reservations and the wait would be 30+. I said fine, we love this place, we will wait. 45 mins later they still have no plan for where they would be seating us. We had small children with us which were getting antsy and asked to talk to the manager. He said he would figure something out and he apologized. We waited another 20 minutes and watched as 2 other parties were sat. We were never offered to split our party to atleast get us seated, etc. we asked to see the manager again and again he apologized but didn't do anything other than say he can't make people leave. The whole time the hostesses were laughing and when confronted they said they weren't laughing at us but at the situation. After 1 hour and close to 30 minutes we finally left and went to another restaurant where we were seated immediately. Again we have never had an issue like this prior to the new hostesses being hired. The food, beer and atmosphere has always been great but after being treated that way we will not be back. Very disappointed in the way this was handled and management was not helpful in any way. Lost a billy for a party of 10 read more

Beer and food are really great...great place to play darts...hang out with friends

This is my go-to place when I want to meet a friend for a beer. The food is decent, beers are usually good. Winter is the best time for beers here, especially Halloween and St.Patrick's Day! The service is a little slow, but always friendly, and it's one of the few places I would not hesitate to go alone. Occasionally they have a live band. There's also shuffleboard. A nice neighborhood bar! read more
