Had drinks only (fabulous greyhounds) because we were not hungry and had a quick layover. That said, Dana is freaking AMAZING! She single handedly dealt with all patrons with the greatest of ease and kindness. It was crazy busy. Love her! Will stop here in our next layover.

If you are in the Denver airport don't even stop anywhere else. The logo will say Steve's Specialty dogs and the prices are amazingly reasonable, the food is excellent, my husband had the Smashburger and it was even a double! I had the BLT and had tons of bacon on it. Our host Alex was friendly and courteous. Our food came out quickly. Atmosphere is sports bar crossed with 50s diner.

During my layover I had a very over-priced hot dog here. One lackluster hotdog costs just slightly under $10. I waited a very long time and its a good thing I had a long layover. I will not eat here again.

Chilly tasty local beer on tap, and a lightly-spicy chili Denver Dog wrap with jalapeños!

Dogs, burgers, sandwiches, breakfast, local beers, full bar, dine-in and takeout: Grabbing a bite at the Denver Intl Airport, near gate B24 we saw Steve's Snappin' Dogs, a small dine-in place with takeout, too. They also have burgers, cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, and BLT's, and they serve regular breakfast sandwiches plus a breakfast burrito with a green chili "relish". We tried 2 of the 5 dog varieties: the Chicago and the Denver, both pretty good! The Chicago Dog happily had real sport peppers for a little bite, celery salt for very-slightly herbed authenticity, good tomato slices, dill pickle spear, and (not neon-)green relish. Purists will decry the spicy brown mustard - it should be regular yellow mustard, the ok-amount but not overstuffed toppings - it should be "dragged through the garden", and the (not really forgivable) lack of poppyseeds on the bun. The Denver Dog is a chilli-dog in a flour-tortilla wrap, with brightly bitey jalapeños, but with lettuce (which I disapprove on a dog :-). Despite my dog-matic comments, these are tasty dogs, and you can easily get it plain or vegetarian or on gluten-free buns. Note: They have a full bar including local beers on tap from Longmont, Glendale, and Fort Collins (as of Jun 2025). We were happy to find good food in an airport!

Okay, now, this is weird but the potato salad pairs really well with the Paso Robles-Red Blend. Each item on its own is probably mid, probably a 3. Together, they mix for a solid 3.4 to 4. I was just trying to get through this airport experience, and what do you know...A diamond in the rough! Who would've thought potato salad and some type of Paso Robles red blend would make the Denver Airport experience. God I hate this airport.

Your menu is probably some of the best priced in the airport. I have Been craving a snappy hot dog for so long, the service was super quick and the "man beer" IPA I had was really delicious and flavorful, I ordered the Atlanta slaw dog and it was perfectly cooked.

Something quick. Nothing fancy, just a quick meal. I like the fact you can either get your food at the takeout window, sit at the bar and order, or just get a table. It does get tight with the luggage and backpacks everywhere but you don't need much elbow room to eat. I like the quick menu. It's simple, nothing fancy. I will say I wish they offered an all beef dogs section, even a hot link or Polish sausage. Hint owner if you read this. They seem to all be the mixed weenies of "let's just throw everything into a casing and call it a hotdog." Hotdog rating 3/5. Difficult to eat as they pile on the topping difficult so you'll need a fork. Flavoring was average but the dog does snap. Potato salad lacked everything. It's plain. Rating 2/5. I'm just happy there was mustard available to give it some taste. Overall three stars. You can sit down and have a quick bite to eat. Bartender was friendly and everyone seemed to at least enjoy the atmosphere. M

We found this place in the Denver airport and sat while we waited on our flight. The Bloody Mary was yummy!!!! I had our bartender add a shot of pickle juice and it was just right. Husband got the margarita. It was strong! We got the Dallas dog and it was really good. Our bartender split it for us which was really nice. Would recommend!

Lets get some things out of the way. This is in the airport, so adjust your expectations accordingly. Its going to be overpriced, its going to be sub optimal, its going to be not a nice sit down meal! Sit yourself. Service was quick and attentive. Ordered and drink came out probably 3 minutes later and the two hot dogs about 5 mins later. Margarita....its an airport margarita, lets not expect it to be the same as the margs you had in Tulum at the 4star resort you were at last year. Its going to be the standard margarita you would get at the Chili's down the block from your house. Point is, it does the job. It wasn't watered down, the tequila was well balanced and it was wet and salty. The lime was suspect and obviously old, but I can live with that as Im waiting 2 hours on a layover. The NY Coney was pretty good. The coney sauce was well flavored, had the right amount of bulk to it. Little bit of onions, cheese and mustard and it was good to go. The Jersey Dog was pretty good as well. Sort of a less piled high Chicago Dog, but with some saurkraut thrown on top. Both dogs had more than ample toppings on them. Maybe, maybe just a tad less and it would have made the experience better but that is just because I don't like eating food that slops all over my hand and falls out the back as you bite on it, but that my personal preference. One bit of advice if "Steve" is out there.... for God sake put the dogs on the cooktop and put a little bit of char on the dogs!! It would have made these 5 star instead of 4. Both of my hot dogs were clearly just pulled out of a steamer tray.

That was a huge error because all of the other commitments couldn't add up to the experience here. Rhein Haus is an authentic German restaurant. It has an excellent beer section, great food, and looks like it has fun games. The staff was super friendly, and we had a great time. We started with some beers, a sausage sampler, and a giant pretzel. Get this, and you will be treated to some excellent food. But the entree was even better. I opted for the Jagerschnitzel with beef goolash, braised cabbage, and warm potato salad. I have no idea how goolash is made, but it was incredible. The flavor was so rich, and I pictured how great it would have been on a cold Denver night. Unfortunately for me, it was like 80 degrees outside. The schnitzel was equally wonderful, but that warm potato salad was even better. My goodness, it was delicious. Is it wrong that I am thinking of flying back in just to come visit here? That is how great it was to me.

We have been regular and huge supporters of this establishment for years, especially being fellow LGBTQ members of the community supporting the LGBTQ owners of this establishment. We simply came to Rhein Haus tonite to continue our holiday celebration, and we had a large group. We were a large group so one set went to the bar, the other group were sent to a table adjacent to the bar. The bar group was served immediately, but the table group was not not being served. I addressed this issue with a manager, and he proceeded to kick me out of the bar. I am simply looking to take care of our friends fairly, and this manager felt I was being unfair. I welcome conversation as this was a terrible experience for our group. I felt completely disrespected by the person that kicked me out, and felt he was completely out of line. Tony

So glad to finally see a Yelp page for these guys, I've been wanting to give them a rave review for…read morea while. I've been to the farmer's market at the Denver Federal Center for 3 straight years and never have I had so many lunches from a single vendor! lol. Their lobster rolls are to die for: I've checked with a coupld of friends who are from the east coast, and they said the lobster rolls from this food truck are as close to the real thing as Colorado can get! All the offerings from East Coast Joe's are a bit on the pricey side, but are definitely compensated by quality, here's a list of items I've tried in the order of most favorite: - Lobster Roll: very refreshing, every bit is full of lobster meat. The bun is very buttery and the right amount of crunch. I so want to finish trying the different items on the menu just so I could come back and have more lobster rolls, lol - Pulled pork sandwich (I think they lovingly call it "Stick A Pork In It" or something like that, cute name): not as big as I expected, but the pulled pork is SO tender, and instead of being smothered by BBQ sauce, it is topped with a garlic aioli, rich and buttery; then plump bacon strips (no kidding, their bacon is really good); then arugula. Incredible flavor - Lobster BLT: because of the bacon, duh - Lobster grilled cheese: good quality melted cheese, but I much prefer just having it alone (and put the lobster meat in the lobster roll!) - Lobster sliders: mini and cute but you can't survive on just these alone, so might as well get the lobster roll - Shrimp roll: I guess I'm not a big fan of shrimp in sandwiches, especially if there's the option of having lobster in it! I was told they also make a good sausage sandwich, haven't had a chance to order that yet, and I sincerely wish they bring back the homemade chips. Great job Joe and the nice lady whose name I have yet to ask. Please come back to the DFC next year!

I was with a good beer drinking (and brewing) group and since I am not really a beer drinker I was sure hoping for good food. And I got it. I ordered a Sunny BLTA but without the cream cheese. It seemed like there was already plenty on the brioche roll and with the sunny side egg it was moist on its own. The lettuce was arugula, my favorite salad green, and there were several large slices of fresh tomato and avocado on the roll. The bacon (two huge pieces) was cooked just right for a sandwich, chewable and not hard. The grilled roll was nice and soft so you could keep the big pile of filling intact while holding it. I would get it again in a heartbeat. The staff was very friendly, happy to customize my sandwich though very busy. I appreciated that they delivered the food to our table without us having to wait around the truck. I hope to see this truck again at some other event I might get to in the future.
