Because it was the perfect spot for breakfast before heading back to the US. We got a couple of things, the medium acai bowl (easily shareable between two people), matcha latte, vanilla latte, and a breakfast sandwich. The food was very fresh and the latte was very good! The fruits were very fresh on the acai bowl. The matcha was just ok and we wished that we added a meat to the breakfast sandwich since it was missing a bit of saltiness. With that being said, everything about this is relaxed and cozy: from the interior, to the nice staff, to even the easiness of parking/accessibility from the main street. We definitely had a great time stopping by!

This location is spacious, with a clean but comfy interior. Staff are super welcoming and nice. Gangnam Bowl ($18.45): spicy n' loaded bowl with spicy salmon and toppings such as onion, cucumber, corn, pineapple + more. I'd get this one again! Loco Moco: First time trying this, its a thick hamburger patty with a perfectly jiggly fried egg and a slightly sweet gravy. Gravy was amazing, I ate so much rice with it. OMG Bowl ($18.45): miso tuna, edamame, seaweed salad, crispy garlic/onion+more. I'm personally a fan of salmon over tuna, but this was loaded and pretty good too. Overall, portions are really good, I think they're generous with their toppings.

We were seated outside on the enclosed patio which was no problem, I'm not sure I would want to sit there in summer with the patio open. We also love their happy hour options, so come before 5 if you want to take advantage of it. Parking seems plentiful on first glance, but it's not. The lot was full and we got lucky to score a spot, they are just always busy. Good thing though... hope to be back soon, great restaurant.

"Driving through rural neighborhoods of Washington can be daunting without a sense of time, space, and phone service. Thick, limitless evergreen forests occluding the beacon from the highest of cell towers, miles and many rows farmland, and the occasional $6/gallon gas station. The eyes sore quickly at the sight of an infinite road marked with faded paint and tunneled by lush, beautiful greenery, a mirage practically teasing your senses with a taste of something familiar. But if you're lucky, you just might stumble across an oasis. The Poke Oasis, in fact. Your eyes have not deceived you, and you did indeed reach that shimmering pool of life waiting for you in none other than Burlington, WA. If I could go back and relive the moment they asked me "what can I get you?" and prepared the most exhilarating, invigorating, electrifying plate of sustenance that may have ever tickled my tastebuds. I'd sell my left kidney for that... Anyways. For you movie lovers out there, especially you little rascals who can't resist a bite of the forbidden fruit, who walk on the edge of desire and disaster...this bowl has just the thrill you seek. If your will is strong, your stomach stronger, and you like a little danger, you just might make it into the theater with your poke. I, for one, relished my delightful bowl of poke whilst singing along to Hadestown, furiously devouring each bite and unabashedly reciting every bit of dialogue until the angry Karen two rows in front of me gave me the "look." She doesn't get it. But I know you will. Anyone who dares walk through those doors must be prepared to have their life altered, their heart changed, their soul transcended. And if you have made it this far...I, too, dare you to take that leap of faith. But who am I to tell you what to do? I'm just your friendly neighborhood Poke Oasis regular."
