Ok, I guess Canada doest use Yelp. Go look at the Google reviews for this place for a fairer assessment. The place is booming btw. So you need to know what to expecte. You line up. They give you a bowl and tongs. You pick your ingredients. Huge selection of all kinds of hot pot protein, veggies, noodles, etc. Go to the cashier, weigh the food, select broth and extras. Take a number and sit down. They bring you the cooked hot pot. When you finish eating, they give you ice cream. Waddle home I got the spicy #1. I mean it was awesome! Fresh quality ingredients. It was so good. Beef balls had so much richness. Tamago (in hot pot?) worked really well especially as a last bite. In protest, I give it 5 stars.

This location is spacious, lots of seating and the line moves fast. The food at big is always delicious and you get good value for what you pay for.

Food is always 10/10 at the time - but minus points because I end up with food poisoning the day after. They also messed up our drink orders but it was so busy and didn't feel like pulling a Karen.

I am happy to find a hot pot option all the way here in Langley. Most of the hot pot options are out in Richmond, Burnaby or Vancouver. Big Way serves hot pot by the weight. There is an art to picking the right amount of food without costing you a lot of money. You can find plenty of online tips available with a quick search. They also have an extensive drink menu to complement your hot pot meal. There is a free sauce bar and ice cream included in your meal. My meal was $15 for some noodles, sliced meat, quail eggs and veggies. I really enjoy their collagen bone broth for its mild and savoury taste. Matcha soft serve was offered after I finished my meal. Service was great when we visited. Food arrived fairly quickly. There was plenty of seating available at 3 pm. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Lastly, I was also surprised the restaurant is open until 2 am in Langley.

But no worries if you missed this, they have a Buy One Get One deal until the end of November! Firstly, very considerate and organized Grand Opening - a lit up tent for the customers waiting in the rain, they had check cards so you could decide on what free drink to get, and finally they offered hot tea while we waited outside! This just shows the thought and care they have for their customers and to make this experience positive! After about 30 minutes, my boyfriend and I got our Free Bubble Teas! I had the Milk Tea with Pearls (half-sweet, less ice) and my boyfriend had the Passionfruit Green Tea with Pearls (half-sweet, less ice). The Milk Tea had a good tea flavour and the milk was creamy, the half sweet was made to be a perfect balance of sweetness and tea. The pearls were made perfectly too - lots of chewiness and decent sweetness. Considering how busy they were and they managed to make this top-notch drink, it's very impressive! My boyfriend enjoyed the freshness of the Passionfruit Green Tea, and with sweetness of the pearls it balanced out the tartness of the passionfruit. A pretty big bubble tea shop with plenty of seating and a large, wooden communal table in the front. Staff were really friendly and they kept the place really clean with the high turnover of customers. They have lots of other drink options like smoothies and seasonal fruit milks, which have a lot of customization options in terms of flavours and toppings too! Overall, glad to have another bubble tea shop close by that is serving delicious drinks!

It's a no for me, dawg…read more I really wanted to like this place because we don't have any real boba shops around. So I was excited to support. But if you think this is boba tea, I'm sorry.. you've been lied to. My boyfriend and I ordered the PP Tea (Peach Passionfruit... and yes, the name is odd) 50% less sweet. Oh boy.. The drink tasted aggressively chemically and syrupy. Not sweet-cute. Not refreshing. More like melted Jolly Rancher with a splash of Red 40. I also asked about ingredients because of dietary restrictions, and the cashier (she was young) couldn't really answer basic questions about what was in the drinks/toppings. If you have allergies or restrictions, that's something to keep in mind. I wanted this to be good soooo bad. I love seeing more diversity in food/drink options here. But this just wasn't it. Hopefully they improve. But for now I'll stick to making the drive out of town for my boba fix. rip Edit after owner response: For context, I did order 50% sweetness. The issue wasn't that it was "sweet" it tasted artificial. I appreciate the acknowledgment about staff training regarding ingredients. That part matters.

The ambience is a clean white modern theme. The food is very good, the boba is warm and fresh every time and so are the fruits. Compared to anything else in this town, this is the best boba place.

Banh mi's were both great but chicken was better, spring rolls were large and fresh, fried buns were new for us and we were glad we tried it. To kick off our experience we started with the fried pork sticky buns, and they did not last long. The crispy fried crust had a very unique texture, and contrasted wonderfully with the soft warm inside of sticky buns with BBQ pork filing. Next we dug into the Fried Combo, which included Egg Rolls, Potstickers and Crab Rangoon. The Egg Roll & Potstickers were unforgettable, but the Crab Rangoon was the real star of the show. Creamy crab filling wrapped in fried wonton paper, and some sweet chili sauce to dip in. Moving on to the entrees we shared the Beef & Shrimp Fried Noodle plate, and the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. The fried noodles contained tender beef and succulent shrimp stir-fried with yellow noodles, Cabbage, Shredded Carrot, crisp bean sprouts, and garnished with fresh cilantro. The dish was very flavorful, with all the fresh veggies and spices tying together the noodles, shrimps and beef. Finally the banh mi. I will admit I have never tried a banh mi sandwich, but I am very glad this was my first one. All the vegetables on top provided an excellent crunch and the chicken was very tender with an amazing flavor. I also added picked jalapeño for an extra touch of heat. All in all this is a very great choice for anyone in the mood for some great Vietnamese cuisine. We will definitely be going into the restaurant next time to try something else!
