That decision turned out to be one of the best moves I've made so far. The experience started with their on-site consultation (BD) which was extremely thorough. The rep carefully documented every single one of my needs/preferences and quickly turned around a draft 3D rendering of the proposed siding, which allowed me to visualize the project and modify things that didn't quite suit the house, etc. Later the rendering served as an invaluable reference for tracking progress towards accurate installation of the siding and trim. Once we launched the project, the team started a group chat, including the entire core team (BD, project manager, and the owner), so everyone was always in the loop on the project at all times. If I had *any* questions, they responded immediately, even on the weekend. In my experience, this level of transparency and accessibility is unheard of in construction projects like this. The owner, Yuk, is absolutely outstanding, a paragon of business owner excellence who clearly values client satisfaction. Definitely want to comment on the actual site team, who produced very high quality work, and were super courteous and friendly (which is especially appreciated when you have neighbors who have to live through a construction project this big). I was impressed with the back office team as well, who was consistent in their communication and always friendly and accommodating. If you hire this company, you will not be disappointed. They do really cool projects (check out their IG ), and their prices are super competitive (though I would have paid extra money for the peace of mind they gave me in running this immense project). Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout.
