They told us it would take approx. 3 weeks but actually took 3 months. We are now redoing the shower for the second time due to leaks in the floor. He used wood for the seat in the shower which wicked up to the granite. The curb was also made of wood which also absorbed water and leaked down to our dining room. He is absolutely the worst contractor I have ever used. Medicine cabinets were installed too low and had to be reinstalled. Curb had to be reinstalled 3 times because it did not pitch toward the shower, Cabinet over toilet did not match the vanity and had to be replaced. Seat in corner of shower had to be replaced with one made of foam rather than wood. And now, we are ripping out the shower and replacing the floor and curb because it is leaking into our dining room.

Then I found out hey measured my kitchen incorrectly resulting in a cabinet layout too wide for my kitchen. They also didn't check to see if the cabinet soffit was concealing plumbing , which it was, so I had to have another contractor make cutouts for the second floor drainage pipes from the second floor, and make custom enclosures inside the new cabinets which were full height and went to the ceiling. I was told Lowe's no longer uses them due to the number of complaints.

I called and Berge picked up, he explained that they don't do window repairs but if I were in front of the windows he could walk me through how to identify the problem, possibly fix it myself or find a handyman to fix it. When I got in front of the windows he talked me through how to take the windows out of the track, identified that the "shoe" wasn't attached and that's why they won't stay open. After I got off the phone with him, I followed his instructions to get the shoe unstuck from the bottom of the track and managed to get them reattached to the windows, and now they both stay open! So incredibly helpful! If we needed to replace those windows we would definitely have gone back to Berge for it.
