Had reservations for 10 on Saturday. While we waited for our party to arrive only 1 person got a menu and no water or drinks were taken. Once all 10 arrived @6:15 waited until 6:30 for someone to come over and take our order. When they finally did, I explained we did not have menus so they laughed and went got them. Drinks and appetizers took about and hour. Of the 10 people 8 got there dinners around the same time. One got there's when just about every one was done and I got my diner after people had paid and were ready to leave. I got mine to go. No apologies were given for this terrible service but they sure remembered to add the 20% tip for our party of 10. The food was good, just its not worth the horrible service. read more

I'm sure the Peking Duck is probably "the" thing to order as it is their specialty...But, unfortunately, the pineapple shrimp fried rice was not all that.. It came out cold-probably because they roll it out on a cart from the kitchen and by the time it got to our table-it was not hot not even warm... The dumplings were odd--no real flavor,,,, The "mule" drink from the bar tasted just like a non-alcoholic ginger beer-not like a "mule" is supposed to taste like with the vodka... The hot and sour soup was really thick and just okay...The crispy hot chicken was quite good and came out hot but overall, it was not the best night for us... One of the worst Chinese restaurants in the valley. Service was super slow. we sat down for 45 minutes and not even got the appetizer. Since we had a small child with us, we threatened to leave. 1. The wait staff does not know how to serve. 1.The food was put on the table with no useful utensils only forks and tiny tongs on some plates. 2. Plates were not changed for the Peking duck. Peking duck requires a clean plate without sauces from previously served dishes. 3. All the dishes were made with the same sauce mixture. The mixture was delicious but not on every dish. 3. The Dan Dan noodles were cooked with the same sauce as the ma-po tofu, and beans.4. Spicy fried pork was served with a small dish of mixed spices to sprinkle on the fried pork but no small serving spoon came with the small dish of spices. The wait staff was very accommodating. i'm going to preface this review by saying, this restaurant has a lot of room for improvement. this place is pretty big inside, pretty dark as well with some interesting light fixtures. we sat in a booth.. with a round table? i think a square table would've been more comfortable, but i digress. came on a sunday around 130pm (they close at 3pm). service was slow from the beginning unfortunately. took a while for a server to greet us after we had been seated. she only came to our table three times; once to greet us and take our order, once to bring us our water, and once to bring us more water at the end of our meal. aside from the slow service, the food was all right. The mixed soup dumplings are very good. we ordered a 10 count of chicken and chinese cabbage dumplings which were also good, however, everything that came to our table that was supposed to be hot just.. wasn't. we ordered the house crispy sampler (2 crispy pot sticker, 2 cream cheese rangoon, 1 spring roll, 1 egg roll - not worth the price imo) as well, it was okay, again did not come to our table hot. szechuan crispy pork could've been crispier and the texture of pork inside just gave a weird mouth feel. finally, we almost thought we weren't gonna get it, but the cucumber salad was decent (came at the very end of our meal). i will also mention, during our visit we overheard the guests at the table next to us speaking with their server (and eventually the manager/owner?) about the service, i.e. not receiving things they ordered, having some miscommunications with another server, issues with their drink, and more probably i just couldn't hear it all. overall, i think the owner and management need to hire more people and support their kitchen better because there's potential here, just poorly executed. read more

Overall a very disappointing experience that i hope they can clear up in the future Came in a few days ago with a reservation for 6pm. took a bit to get seated but that was no biggie. Had to flag someone down when we were ready to order, some of our smaller dishes came out before our drinks and we had to ask someone for the drinks. Some more of the food came out and noticed it was inconsistent (some dishes were cold, some were hot etc). Overall taste was just fine but they completely forgot two of the dishes in our order but at that point we were already over it and asked for our check for what came out. I understand it was probably a busy day and they're still finding their legs as they seem really new still. However, a lot of other tables around us seemed upset and it seems like staff was ill equipped to handle the volume and communicate properly with why things weren't running smoother. Went for AYCE Dim Sum. We were seated promptly and they asked if we wanted to do the all you can eat, we said yes and then they just left...left us sitting for like 15 minutes until we flagged someone down to ask like "what's going on?" Nobody was pushing carts, they kept bringing dishes out and just stacking them to sit but not bringing them around. They were also delivering small dishes to people so we asked "do we order dishes or do you bring them?" And the guy said we could but we should limit it to 2-3. Eventually they brought the small dishes we ordered, and brought a few carts around but we were there for almost an hour and they went around with carts one time. The Mongolian beef was delicious. The rest was pretty meh. The shrimp rice noodle tasted extremely fishy, the bbq buns tasted like they were microwaved. All of the dim sum portions were small, which I get being AYCE but with one cart service it made it hard to even get full. I just overall was not impressed with the food or service. If you're going to do Dim Sum, you need to be aware of when people seat and take your carts around to them so they aren't rotting for 10-15 minutes trying to figure out what's even happening. Honestly, I probably won't be back. It was about $30 per person after tip and for that price, I'd rather go to Phoenix Palace in Chandler. read more

Went here with my wife a while ago, we were very disappointed...After seeing the good comments about the food and the taste, especially the Peking Duck, all I can say is, I feel bad for you, because that's not how proper Chinese food is supposed to taste... Anyone who had eaten a proper Peking Duck can definitely tell you that the essence of the dish is the hot crispy skin with the juice of the duck meat being wrapped inside a thin "shell" along with the dark sauce. However, that was not the case at this place. The price for the dish does not match up with the quality of the food. The duck meat was luke warm, bland, the skin was barely there to be found, and the "chef" somehow threw all the good parts of the duck into the soup...what a disappointment that was... If you haven't tried this restaurant before and are looking to find a decent Chinese restaurant with decent food, I would strongly advise you to wait for Mott 32 to come to AZ. Do not waste your money here, cuz they would charge an extra 3% credit card fee if you don't pay in cash. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't go here specially if you're a big group or else you wouldn't get serve only half in your group gets to eat the rest would starve waiting for the food to come. You're going to starve and it wouldn't be worth it. And it's only limited to 5 of what u can order per table and only a one person serving sizes (which I get because it's dimsum sizes), but the rest of the people in your group wouldn't get to eat, if they would at least accommodate the whole group but they didn't. We tried to get food from the cart and the lady said it's too much because there's other people in the restaurant and we were only given 3 servings of siomai, mind you there's more than 10 people in this group and there's 3 pieces of shomai in a plate. And this is us waiting a long time to get served and by the time the cart gets to our table there's no more food and kept saying they'll be back with more but they didn't and it goes on and on. We are not happy. We are starving. We asked for the manager multiple times and no manager showed up. We had to get up and walk to complain because none of the servers were listening. One of them also said that the manager is busy. So we waited and nobody showed up. Whaaattt??? By the time they tried to listen and accommodate the whole group were already very disappointed and frustrated so we left. We don't normally complain to the places we eat at, but what happened in this restaurant put us over the edge. We will not come back here again. read more

We had party of 12 and they would only serve 3 servings with only 3 pieces each. That's 9 small pieces for 12 people. When asked to talk to the manager the server said he was too busy to talk to us. A week later, I ordered delivery from them for me and two co-workers, I ordered Pineapple shrimp fried rice, I did not see any Pineapple and only one of the smallest shrimp ever recorded in the history of man. Quite a lot of $$$ for basically white rice. One co-worker had the Mushroom Chicken; she basically had no comment, but did not seem impressed. My other co-worker had the orange chicken and she gave it to me to try, she said she could not eat it. I tried two or three pieces, to see if it was really that bad, And, it was, it tasted as if it had been in the sun for two weeks I had to spit it out in the trash, disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. Very poor business system. We see all the good reviews online and were very excited to try this place. However, the experience was very disappointed. We went on Sunday morning, didn't know it was all you can eat dim sum only or you can order a duck. We noticed this information when we asked the waiter 5 minutes after we set down because to have nothing to order and didn't know what they have available. The waitress who set us said they run out of menu and will bring one when they have, but we never got a menu the whole time we were there. It was all you can eat, you don't get to order anything. It's just whatever they bring out in those little carts, one cart at a time and only one or two types dim sum in the cart and it might not have enough to or every table in the room. We were there for an hour and 10 minutes, but we only see 7 different types dim sum and we didn't even get to try all of them because they don't have enough to go round the room. The cart coming out very slow, the whole time we were there we see the cart with the food less than 10 times. Because we didn't have menu, so we didn't even know the price. They charge us $27.99/per person which we later see the menu picture online shows $27.99 for everything and $21.99 for without dim sum. I am just not sure what they have other than dim sum. We really don't recommend this place, you can get much better food and experience and less price in other dim sum places. read more
