The best. I'm here at least once every couple months. Service is warm and friendly. It's cozy inside and new patio is great. The food is consistently delicious and satisfying. It's definitely gotten a bit more busy now that tourists know more about it but still pretty easy to grab a reservation. Never misses for me. We had the mozzarella & bacon, olives, lemon butter pork chop, rigatoni, pasta special (charcoal tagliatelle w/ sundried peppers, mushrooms, panchetta(?), and garlic) and black sesame panna cotta. Another epic meal at Stella's.

Sunday supper at Stella is something everyone should go to at least once during the warm months. We sat outside on the patio, with fans blowing, there was enough airflow to keep us cool on an unusually warm March evening. Our waiter was amazing, keeping an eye on water and wine levels to keep us hydrated and happy. He was on top of keeping our next course coming when we were finished with the previous one, while allowing our conversation to go uninterrupted. The mortadella skewers were delectable, with a few of the edges charred from the wood fire. The greens with it, was divine with anchovy, shaved asparagus, red mustard and fennel to give a fresh and tangy flavor to the cured meat. The second course was a generous portion of risotto with lumps of Dungeness crab and pancetta. The cherry tomatoes were roasted and popped with flavor along with the fried green onion. For dessert, the mini baked gelaska is a signature Stella dish, with the blood orange curd accompanying the moist angel food cake. We left feeling completely satisfied our experience and can't wait to visit again.

Chicken Parmesan (doesn't come with the pasta - see my review)

Food was excellent! We went for dinner. Service was wonderful and ambiance was nice. We sat on the covered porch...perfect temp so don't worry about being cold. We had the chicken Parmesan à la carte and the Cacio e Pepe. We like pasta with chicken Parmesan so we shared both so we could eat the pasta with the chicken Parmesan. Perfect combo! We brought our own bottle of wine to pair with the meal. They charge a $35 corking fee. Our only critique's are they need to add more flavor to the marinara sauce served on the chicken Parmesan and add more pepper for flavor to the pasta. We would definitely recommend Stella and would go back.

Amazing food and our favorite dish was the lamb chops and we were so glad that we added them onto the set menu! All the other dishes were also very good and the interior of the restaurant was so pretty! Service was impeccable as well since the chefs made a separate set of food for us because one person couldn't eat cheese. There is also an outside patio which I wish we sat at, but that calls for another visit to the restaurant! Highly recommend.

I took my parents here for my mom's birthday dinner & the reviews did not disappoint. It looks very unassuming from the outside but the interior and the ambiance is so nice. The service was excellent as well & they even had a signed HBD card ready at the table for my mom to see. We got the prosciutto & burrata with their bread (must order!) , lamb ribs & the Caesar salad to start & it was a hit. We then got the pork dish, beef & pork rigatoni & carbonara & no complaints other than how full we were lol. Lastly, we ordered the baked gelaska for dessert & my mom got a free gelato for her bday as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone & would def come back again! My parents and I enjoyed our experience here :)

I really love their sister restaurant (Glen Ellen Star) so we were very excited to try Stella. We walked in without a reservation and was seated in their outdoor covered area. We ordered the clams, the lumache, rack of lamb ribs and the pork Milanese. Everything was delicious! The lumache had delicious shiso marinated tomatoes topped with robiola espuma, the foamy cheese paired so well! Their pasta dishes are always changing with the seasons and I cannot wait to come back to try more. The baked gelaska dessert was a very popular choice. It is a fun dessert to share, but it was a little too sweet with too much marshmallow fluff for me.

This is the perfect place for a special occasion dinner. Upon entering it feels elegant with great decor and ambiance. The service is impeccable along with a great wine list. We started with focaccia and the burrata with bacon - both excellent. The Bavette "fra diavolo" was excellent, Mafaldine carbonara to die for (that good), rigatoni was good but a bit too salty ‍. The crispy potatoes were nice but the broccoli Rabe tasted too much like campfire smoke which was a bit overwhelming (they roast most of the vegetables over an open wood fire). The portions are generous so I would recommend sharing desserts. The blood orange sorbet was excellent, the ricotta cake is denser than you would expect, the baked gelaska is topped with a marshmallow topping.. which can be a bit much unless you love that sort of thing.

Everything was incredible. The service, the staff, the food. We ordered the chicken, the ragu, and the red sauce lumache. Everything was so flavorful and portions were large and great value for the quality of food. GET THE RAGU! I've had quite a few in my life, and this one takes the cake. All our pasta noodles were also cooked to texture perfection. The chicken initially came out raw/undercooked, but after alerting the staff it was quickly remidied and the manager came out to apologize and check on us. The remade chicken was SO delicious - juicy, perfectly seasoned, and so tender. I'd reccomend this to anyone who wants to get some protein in for the table. The baked gelaska is a great concept, but once the "graham cracker cake" pieces get cold, they are rock hard and impossible to chew. They may be better off using actual graham cracker pieces or using actual cake pieces made from graham crackers, then topping with a graham cracker crumble. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. I've also made recommendations to several friends who frequent the Napa area for wine trips. Worth the detour! My only wish was that the cocktail selection was a little stronger. Currently there are only a few low ABV options available and that was a bit disappointing.

Another fabulous start to our night at Stella! Every visit we are greeted with warm charm and genuine Sonoma County hospitality. It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, with a welcoming atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed restful dining moments with friends, savoring every sip and bite. The service was excellent--attentive yet unobtrusive, making the evening even more special. The food was nothing short of exquisite. The pasta was absolutely fabulous--fresh, al dente, and bursting with flavor. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of savory goodness, showcasing the quality of fresh ingredients used. Stella truly captures the essence of Sonoma County's love for good food and good company. Can't wait to return for another memorable night of delicious bites and warm ambiance! Until next time.

To say this restaurant was outstanding is an understatement. It was superb. One of the best restaurants I've had the privilege of eating at. JD, our waiter was simply the best. Informative, knowledgeable and so kind. We definitely ate too much and couldn't resist the gelaska for dessert. Main courses were the amazing bread with melted cheese with a special honey concoction on top. Tagliatelle pasta, incredible. Bavatte steak, delicious. Yellow beets, out of this world. Cannot wait to return. Compliments to the chefs!!

Stella accommodated my party of 12 for my best friend's bachelorette. Food, service, and ambiance were perfect. Each dish was excellent, particularly the execution of the pasta. Food: Lunch was chosen from a preset menu and consisted of an appetizer, various entrees (due to some guests' allergies), and dessert. Appetizer: Caesar salad with anchovy dressing, garlic croutons, and 24 month aged Parmesan Entrees: Bavette (steak), whole grilled dourade (fish) with chili and caper butter sauce, wood, grilled golden beets, pasta, and garlic rosemary fries Dessert: Tiramisu They even made menu cards for each guest to commemorate this event. I can't wait to come back again.

My first time here was back in 2020, and it was the first restaurant we ate at since the covid pandemic began. We sat by that beautiful pond, ate Surf & Turf, and were so thankful to be dining at a restaurant again. Since then this has been my go-to place for special occasion dinners and when I want a delicious filet mignon. On this visit, we started the burrata appetizer and their delicious bread and butter. The burrata appetizer has changed over the years, but its current form is very good. I do miss the crostini that it used to come with, but the balsamic reduction and the basil infused oil make this a great dish. The heirloom tomatoes were really fresh and the cucumber and arugula were nice and crispy. I always love the bread here along with the lava-salted butter. They also have a special, house made Cabernet salt at the table. The bread is free, which very few places still do that. For entrees, we ordered the filet mignon and the Meatloaf Tagliatelle (a special of the day). The filet mignon is always excellent, tender, and perfectly cooked. The red wine reduction and the blue cheese whipped butter bring the steak to a different level as well. The meatloaf tagliatelle was great. It wasn't necessarily my favorite meatloaf ever, but it had great flavors. The pasta and the sauce were awesome. For dessert, we had the special Toasted Coconut cheesecake. If they happen to have this dish on your visit here then make sure to get it. It was delicious. Unless you don't like coconut. I also want to shout out to the fantastic service here. Located in the Kenwood Village Shopping Center along the Sonoma Highway in the small wine country community of Kenwood, Palooza Brewery And Gastropub is part brewery, restaurant, and pub and the perfect place to get your bearings straight among all the drinking along the highway. Established since 2014 from owners and chef Jeff Tyler and his wife Suzette Tyler, who started as owners of a few hot dog carts and then a catering company, has turned into one of the few places that wine lovers can stop over for a bite to eat along this particular stretch of the Sonoma Highway. What brought a friend and I here on a warm weekend afternoon was the fact that we were driving around the Sonoma Highway wine tasting our hearts out and were in desperate need of a little sustenance in order to continue our wine tasting journey later on in the day and Palooza Brewery And Gastropub is what first came to mind to visit. There was plenty of parking in the lot businesses in the Kenwood Village can take advantage of and although there were no customers inside of the restaurant when we arrived, we were sat immediately in their covered outdoor patio where we could see their outdoor wood fired pizza oven in all its glory! The menu at Palooza Brewery And Gastropub is separated into categories including Small Plates, Tacos, Salads, Wood Fired Pizza, Plates, Sandwiches, Desserts & Shakes. It was that pizza oven that brought my dining mate to Palooza Brewery And Gastropub and that was what we remained committed to ordering on our visit. With five options, we decided to order their Meat Lovers Wood Fired Pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, bacon, red onion, marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on a thin bubbly crust. We were going to remain committed to ordering just this entrée, but we decided to also order their Fried Pickles under the small plates section of their menu, which consisted of house made butter pickle slices that beer battered, fried and served with a malt vinegar aioli dipping sauce. The small plate pickles would come out first and this dish was a pleasant surprise as it was the perfect combination of savoriness and sourness with an extra dash of umami thanks to the aioli dipping sauce. Then out came our Wood Fired Meat Lovers Pizza and it was such a satiating meal that multiple people could have enjoyed all the fresh combination meat, sauce, and cheese, but since it was just the two of us dining, we were able to enjoy two slices each and take the rest home in a takeout box. Our total bill was $45.88 with tax before gratuity was added in, which in this area is considered a reasonably priced meal. Even without ordering a libation or sampling one of their brews on tap, we still had a great time at Palooza Brewery and Gastropub. Now that we know this spot exists among the many wineries and tasting rooms in the area, it's nice to have another option when we're looking for a casual place to relax and grab a bite. Their Happy Hour menu, available all day on Sundays and on weeknights from 3-5:30 p.m., makes it an especially appealing stop. Palooza Brewery and Gastropub is the perfect pit stop when you want something tasty without taking a big bite out of your wallet.

Our server, Darian, could not have been more fabulous. He joked with my granddaughter who was being a bit shy which invoked a smile. The garden salad I had was good- but the stars of the show were the Fried Polenta with a creamy mushroom sauce, the focaccia bread (which was refilled as needed) and the tiramisu which I had as my birthday dessert. Darian delivered the dessert with a very big candle and sang to me. I'd definitely come back here!

Seating is outside on their covered patio. Everyone is so very nice & helpful. As wonderful as the employees, owner & ambiance are, the food is the star! 1st: I had the porcini mushroom, yellow onion & Pancetta pizza. 5 stars all the way with everything we ate!. So good! We shared a house Italian salad, delicious! Butter lettuce was cold & crisp! Cousin & husband had their polenta dinner & loved it. We had their tiramisu, perfectly made & their cannoli. Cannoli had chocolate chips, dark cherries & pistachios! Are you kidding me! No reservations; opens at 4:30 pm. What a wonderful experience we had, with a happy, helpful staff & delicious food!

They def knew their menu. Immediately brought water with cucumber and lemon, very refreshing. I ordered the bread with butter to start, it was excellent. That butter just melts on every bite, taking the bread to the next level. Staff recommended the Rachel pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was very simple. However the combination of the thousand Island, sauerkraut, the pastrami and buttered bread just made it so delicious. It was decently meat packed too. The sandwich came with fries which I inhaled the ketchup that they brought me extra. It also came with two types of coleslaw both were delish. They were not overwhelming with dressing. The yellow one was interesting bc I thought it was turmeric but it was slightly sweet. Delish as well. Also ordered their Italian prosecco. I'm into red wine but for some reason perhaps the environment I felt the prosecco would work and it did! It was bubbly refreshing, tasty, and not dry. Their restroom was big and clean. This is in the Jack London Village. They have parking on both ends. The village has other restaurants and wine tasting as well.

Last night was a large gathering of the Santa Rosa Symphony patrons and soloists. Each one of us left w/ an outstanding impression of Ca'Bianca! Looking forward to our next dining experience there! Each of the three courses was superb.

Menu offers a good selection of different dishes. I always try to look at the menu ahead of time but sometimes I feel like having steak and then once I get to restaurant, a different dishes looks more appetizing. So that's the only issue I have here, everything looks amazing and makes it so hard to narrow it down. I usually go with friends and we each choose very different item and then end up sharing a little of our dishes with each other. Nothing disappoints. Everything is a MUST try! The waiters and waitresses are also very helpful in selecting a dish. It is a bit pricey but what do you expect when the food ingredients are fresh? I'm willing to pay an arm and a leg for a good meal. Can't wait to come for my birthday later this month!

Our server this evening was a very pleasant woman named Tiffany, and it's more than obvious why she's been here for fourteen years. She had me at "hello." All done as they should have been. We'll see ya again soon. Thank you for the experience.

They put a special sign on our table noting that it was just that and everyone was saying happy birthday. I'm 69 years old and usually feel invisible, but this made my day. Cameron once again was our server, and I couldn't have been more delighted. I made sure to tell him what a great time we had last time. When we made plans to visit the Healdsburg, Geyserville area for our celebration, the second thing we did after making hotel reservations was to reserve a table at Catelli's. We knew that was going to be the shining star, and it was. Unlike another Italian restaurant we visited a couple days later (see my review if you're interested), Cameron spent time with us, as he did with all his guests. Everyone there was in for an experience and Cameron made sure of it. No wonder he's been there 11 years. We started the meal by splitting a Ceasar salad, which they split for us on 2 plates and the plates were loaded with delicious salad. Next, I had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was to die for. The smoked polenta was fantastic. I'll be honest and say that I don't remember what my wife had, but I remember her saying she loved it. After this wonderful dinner, they treated us to a wonderful piece of tiramisu with aa candle. i can't rave enough about this place. I wish we had something even close to where we live. Molto Buono!
