Gluten free pepperoni pizza with pineapple and mushrooms
    Jack L.

Wonderful pizza spot next to the train amusement park. The pizzas are baked perfectly and loaded with a ton of ingredients. They also had gluten free options which made my kids incredibly happy. They are quite busy though so unfortunately they forgot to put pepperoni on my pepperoni pizza... uh... thankfully they easily fixed it and put so a ton on top. If I'm in the area, I'll be back!

I usually wait until my second visit and/or second dish before I give a restaurant a 5th star, but Jacob's gets that 5th star on my first visit! The staff were super attentive even though they were very busy and they were also very friendly. The food was delicious, my wife and I got a large Sonoma Pizza and a mixed green salad to share. Before we even got to the pizza, that was the best green salad I've ever had. Simple, yummy, especially the cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. I am a pizza snob, and with the exception of Mountain Mike's, I can't stand any of the big chains. The Sonoma pizza had the perfect balance of pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, onions and garlic. The restaurant was also impeccably decorated, with a splash of Italy and Sonoma Wine country represented. Every dish they walked by made my mouth water. We definitely be going back again and again, especially when we head out that way for wine tasting.

3rd time dining here and every time has been satisfied with good food a great advice. Today we had a large all meet, lamb gyro with a Greek salad , cheese bread a a pitcher. All of it was good and we would order it all again.

Ordered a small cheese pizza First time here, Lacking cheese as the main ingredient, one and a half slices had NO CHEESE And the cheese that was put on was very thin and the taste just isn't there. Needs more cheese and flavor. Cheese tastes weird It doesn't taste very good I wouldn't go back not good pizza at all

I paid $70 bucks for this pizza off DoorDash, I did get a lot of toppings but they put raw tomato on there I did give the dasher a $5 tip but $70 for this is a rip off. Currently cooking the tomato in my oven the adding to my pizza then cooking the undercooked pizza

Super great service, amazing food. Server was amazing and very welcoming! Penne Chicken, sauce seemed homemade which was great, it personally for my palette, it needed a little more salt but that was an easy fix. Pepperoni pizza with pineapple was great. My toddler enjoyed it! linguine seafood was great, good size portion with great flavor.

Some friends invited us for dinner here and they ordered the pizza ahead of time so when we all arrived it was ready for us. Our waiter Joaquin was very friendly and helpful in ordering our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. The combination pizza was very good. She swapped the tomato for sundried tomato which I loved gave it another flavor. Pizza is thin and has tons of toppings on it. It has a spacious inside area to dine in and also a small outdoor area which I am sure is very nice to sit at, but it was full when we got there. Will be back I do want to try other things they have on their menu that sounded good.

My husband and I walked to Jacob's restaurant from our hotel. It was a 15 to 20 minute walk. There weren't many people when we arrived, so the place was ours. We found the service to be good and the food was tasty and fresh. We plan to visit again when we make our trips to Sonoma.

Cute little restaurant located conveniently next to the Sonoma Train, which makes for a very short walk to get some solid Italian food! Pizza, pastas, and more ... service was solid and accommodating. Pizzas had a nice dough and a good amount of toppings! Definitely cheesy which my daughter enjoyed! Pasta was also fresh and tasty. The salad was filled with cheese, dressing, and was a nice crisp start to accompany the meal. Good amount of seating. Nice and quaint way to end a day spent at the Sonoma Train place next door with the kiddies. Happy kids = happy parents!

After doing a bit of research online, my first food stop on my trip to Sonoma was Jacob's. Since it was late afternoon midweek, there was no wait and a plenty of seats available both inside and on their shaded patio. They are open all afternoon except for Monday, so if the places around the central square are packed, this place is a great choice. The waitress was very efficient and friendly, and recognized me on a subsequent visit, welcoming me back! I chose the chicken gyro with a side salad, that was ENORMOUS and delicious, but even in my ravenous state, I could only finish half of this plate! A friend ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with side salad and could not finish it either, although they were equally famished! I knew after this meal to always split a plate here unless you wanted leftovers to take away! I went back the next day and used my newly acquired knowledge about their portion sizes to split a caesar salad and lasagna with my dining partner and it worked out perfectly! We sat outside under huge red umbrellas, so the shots below have a bit of a tint to them :( The lasagna was served with vegetables that could have been a meal in and of themselves, with a cheesy bread side. The beef lasagna was obviously freshly made with a bright tangy tomato sauce and loaded with vegetables. Even splitting this with the salad was very filling!

Rings my bell for tasty food, generous portions, friendly staff and really reasonable prices. The dining room is basic. No frills. Tables spaced more than 6 feet apart for those who are still Covid conscious. Dinner for me and Barbara tonight was: crispy calamari, a Cesar salad, a big bowl of pene pasta with spicy sausage bathed in a delicious tomato cream sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The calamari was crunchy outside, succulent inside. The Cesar was freshly crisp, seasoned lightly, had plenty of grated Parmesan cheese. Topped with the world's crunchiest croutons. We finished up with a panna cotta topped with a preserved black cherry. Creamy deliciousness that concluded a very satisfying meal. All the food with 2 glasses of wine cost less than $64. That's 70% less money than I paid at another Italian restaurant in Santa Rosa 2 nights ago. Well done Jacob's. You won 2 new regular customers. Highest recommendation for real family friendly food.

When I asked our guide for a recommendation, he suggested making a reservation here. My mom and I, as well as another party of two from our tour, booked as such, while the rest went elsewhere. It was the day before my birthday, so I didn't notate a special occasion in my reservation. I guess OpenTable told them though?? I remain perplexed, but they were soooooo kind and stopped over to ask whose birthday it was. TBH, every last person who worked there was ridiculously friendly and made us feel like we were part of their family. The patio dining area was stellar too. They're known for their homemade gnocchi, so my mom and I both purchased variations. She had it with pomodoro, while I tried it with the white sauce. They were unlike gnocchis I've tried at other spots, and I mean that in a good way. I'm still so bummed I couldn't bring my leftovers with me, because every bite was truly delightful. I'd also be remiss to omit their homemade bread, which was wonderfully flaky and fresh. We didn't order dessert, but they did bring out a berry-themed birthday cake. It was like they knew that was my usual birthday order each year! It surpassed the meal/dessert I had on my actual birthday, and even the presentation was exceptional. I wish I lived closer to California so that I could easily return! Thank you for a top-tier birthday-eve memory!!

Perfect ambiance to sit, drink, eat and enjoy a beautiful sunset. We started with The Morel mushroom tartare, which is morel mushrooms, with an egg, shallots and chives oil over a perfectly well toasted sourdough. Delicious! The steak tartare did not disappoint either. Great balance of flavor between the two. The mushroom earthy flavors along with a light hint of pesto from the morel tartare really balanced out the richness from the steak tartare. The pickled figs served with in the steak tartare really called my attention as they were delicious as well. That was my first having pickled figs :) The salad was delicious, I am a sucker for cheese and the perfectly ripe figs along with the chèvre cheese truly hit the spot. The wild flounder pouched was the wild surprise! I love a restaurant that preps their seafood just right. I love seafood! And I do not like it when it's over cooked. This dish did not disappoint! The salad was a great portion size for a meal (or to share as a side), it was perfectly dressed, and the toppings were proportional & balanced. One of the better salads I've had out! The smoked salmon was good but nothing to write home about. Their house chips are nice and thick, which I like, but a little too salty for me. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were soft and flavorful, though I personally prefer them a bit crispier. Similar to the carbonara, the added lemon flavor took away from the dish for me and overpowered some of the other flavors that would have otherwise shined. The arancini was excellent with a perfect ratio of rice to filling and an incredible cheese pull that made it a standout appetizer. However, our favorite starter, and arguably our favorite dish of the meal, was the Wagyu meatballs. They were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and paired with a sauce that was absolutely incredible. In fact, they were one of the best things we ate during our entire trip to Napa. I would highly recommend stopping in just to order the meatballs. I was especially excited for the fish, but unfortunately the combination of the salt block and caviar made the dish overwhelmingly salty for my taste. We truly came for the carbonara and were disappointed that it did not live up to our expectations. There were so many elements that would have made it a perfect dish. The pasta was cooked beautifully, the sauce was rich, and the guanciale was perfectly prepared. However, an added citrus or lemon flavor overpowered the classic flavors we were hoping for and took away from what otherwise could have been an outstanding carbonara. The star of the meal was the Raviolo. Between the egg yolk, truffles, brown butter, and the rich filling, every bite was exceptional. It was easily one of the best ravioli dishes I've ever had and a dish I would return for without hesitation. Even the bread service was memorable. The Parmesan and garlic accompaniment was absolutely delicious and set the tone for the meal from the very beginning. While not every dish was a perfect fit for our preferences, the atmosphere, service, and standout dishes made Bottega a memorable stop in Napa. The Raviolo and Wagyu meatballs alone are worth ordering and are dishes we will be thinking about long after the trip is over.

The worker who served at the counter was very helpful, and within the restaurant --- there are just a few seats. I'd say, 3 tables with two seats at each table. For my food, I decided to order the Massimo --- which is on "sliced Focaccia, and has sun dried tomatoes, stracciatella di burrata, prosciutto cotto, basil pesto and crumbled taralli (crackers)". Each sandwich is made fresh-to-order, and you can taste the quality. Each ingredient worked together in harmony, and to satisfy the americani in me, I definitely enjoyed the taralli in the sandwich --- reminded me of putting chips in my sandwiches in school. While I waited, Andrea also brought out some slices of salami for me to try --- free of charge, which was very kind of him to do. All in all, if you want to get away from the busyness of the Mission Square, take a 4-minute walk to Salumeria Ovello, and you'll find a little piece of Italy in Sonoma! Ciao tutti!
