They accidentally charged me for a side of garlic bread and made the sandwich incorrectly at first, but the staff was incredibly kind and proactive about fixing it. They remade the sandwich, refunded the extra charge even though I had already paid, and really went out of their way to make it right. I sincerely appreciated that & don't think most places would go that extra mile. The garlic bread deserves its own shoutout...some of the best I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, buttery... just amazing. The rice balls were also a star of the table: super flavorful, cheesy, and garlicky. My brother loved the vodka pasta, and while I was a little bummed there's no vegetarian option for it, he said it was delicious. I got the spicy eggplant parm sandwich and really enjoyed it. The flavors were bold and had a nice kick. There were a few bites where the eggplant breading got a bit soggy, but overall it was satisfying and unique. Affordable, flavorful dishes, great people, and a cozy vibe. Despite the small hiccup, I appreciated how attentive they were. I'll definitely be back to try the pesto pasta!

It was dead when we walked in, but I had seen lots of great reviews on Uber eats so I hoped that dining service would be just as good. The space is simple, nothing too fancy, just a local neighborhood joint which I kind of adore. Our server with a young kid, sweet but shy, very friendly though. I got the breakfast quesadilla and the sweet plantains. Both were absolutely delicious and simple for breakfast locally. My only complaint is that I wish it had a sauce... like something to top it with. The sour cream was great, but I wanted like a green or red sauce or something to give it a bit more punch. It was a little dry, but perfectly cooked... a strange combo lol. The coffee, however, made us both chuckle when it came to the table. The glasses were entirely hard to use and not something that I would recommend for table service. It was a struggle and we would've just preferred a simple mug. Otherwise, everything was great and we left happy and full. I'll most definitely be back.
