The former department store turned sophisticated bistro has a great atmosphere and fantastic food! A small group of us had lunch here yesterday. I had the fish and fries; best fried fish ever! The fish has a beautiful, crispy, malt vinegar glazed crust, while it's perfectly tender and juicy fish inside. The fries are delicious, too. The charred onion tarter sauce was the perfect compliment for both the fish and the fries. Others in our party had the grilled cheese and fries. They proclaimed it the best grilled cheese ever! It's yellow and white cheddar, provolone and Parmesan, between Panko and Parmesan crusted sourdough. Wow! Again, the fries are amazing, too. They are natural, hand cut, shoestring fries cooked to that perfect texture that is just the right combination of soft and crisp. We will be going back soon! read more

I was very happy about the vegan risotto option on the menu, and it did not disappoint. The bartender was very friendly and yet perfectly professional. If you are in Springfield, Ohio, I whole heartedly recommend Stella Bleu. read more

Great patio atmosphere for lunch. Covered or open roof, we got to choose. The menu was very slim but we really enjoyed everything they had. The fries are ridiculously good. I also would recommend the bologna sandwich, it was fantastic! Good service too, we'll be back here. read more

This upscale restaurant is a very welcome addition to the growth that is downtown Springfield. Such a great atmosphere and menu. Service was a little on the slow side but well worth the wait when the food did arrive. Absolutely incredible taste. And the bartender knows how to mix a great drink. Just wow. Way to go Springfield. We used to really like this place, but the menu is extremely limited and pricey. We used to love the service at lunch and tried to go at dinner. We had two bad experiences- first, a waiter who sat down at our table to take our order and I said, "no you just didn't" and insisted he stand up. Weird. Second, we went in one night rather early and it was mostly empty. The chef was up front and on the phone and put a finger up for us to wait a minute. He then Walked off. Several staff were talking to the one table there and we asked if anyone would seat us. Finally yes, and the vibe was weird so we left. We haven't been back in 20 months. read more

I loved the atmosphere of this place, but I will return for the delicious food. It had sort of an unassuming Store front on a pretty little side street in Springfield. But it's actually pretty spectacular when you walk inside. Very cool, modern decor, filled with original photographs taken on the streets of Paris. The menu is moderately priced with creative options. I had Moroccan spiced shrimp which was all flavor without excess heat. So good. I have eaten here many times and I have never had a bad meal. I have found it to be a very social atmosphere where everyone is very pleasant and helpful. I believe you will not find a better place to dine anywhere in Springfield or the surrounding area. It is a great restaurant and definitely deserves a five star rating. read more

Unfortunately it was not a good experience. We waited about an hour for our food and it was ok. The catfish I had had no seasoning when asked to add a cheese they had on the menu was told they were out and another cheese was used but wasn't on the sandwich and it took another 15 minutes for the shredded cheese. Was given dessert as a consolation which was good. Really was excited To get the tomato soup which was a bit garlicy this time around. Not sure i would go back again. Seemed to be the consensus of the group that the lunch service isn't all that good but dinner is better. I probably won't take a chance to experience it. read more

Had the chicken waffles, was not very good... thought $23 for one piece of chicken was pretty bad. Service was ok for a Saturday evening. Ordered the pork chop. It arrived to the table medium rare. I am not accustomed to having pork cooked medium at a restaurant and I prefer my pork cooked well done. You will need to specify when you place the order that you want your chip well done. read more

Checked in here for lunch one day. The service was slow and kinda meh. I've eaten at many nice bistros and world famous restaurants across the globe and this particular one had one of the worst dishes I've ever had. It was called Bleu Ravs. the dish looked horrible. A bland room temperature looking yellow slop with some corn and blue cheese garnish on top. I took a bite of the garnish and a piece of ravioli and instantly the taste of everything was drowned out by an oil they tossed the garnish in. The whole dish tasted like windex and Murphy's wood cleaning oil mixed up. The ravioli was hard and lacking filling. Absolutely horrible dish. Who ever put this together should be charged for a crime. read more

I had the Seasonal Spin salad since I read such good reviews. I was not disappointed. The others in my group enjoyed their meals as well. However, i did ask for some bread with my salad & was told they don't have any bread so waitress brought me crackers. But on the menu, the Blue Ravs come with grilled french bread so I son't see why bread couldn't be offered. read more

This was a unexpected treat! I have tried to find new and exciting flavors in the local area, and this is it! I had the seafood special tonight, where I ate everything but shells and potatoes. Hubby had risotto, which was tangy but full of great vegetables. I had a gin drink which was very good. Creme brûlée was delicious. I was so full I left a few bites behind. My wife and I feel that we've found an exceptional place for a date night dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is wonderful. Just got home from a great evening with friends,but we were very disappointed with the service. Since we first ate there the service has gone downhill. The server snapped at me when I asked if we could order after sitting there for awhile saying the other room was so busy. Well in our dining area there were only 8 other people . We live in Springfield and support our local businesses and restaurants but you need to get things together. Your staff needs some training.g, We don't like someone passing things along to the next person when she should it. Not professional. read more

Surprising! This restaurant is comparable to the best in the Washington, DC area. My party started with Stella Frites and Chilled Crab Dip.... superb! Then we had the Chop, Duck Stir Fry, Filet and the dinner special Herb Roasted Chicken and Dumpling. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Service was excellent in a nicely appointed decor. Another surprise at the end of our meal... one of the owners greeted us and Inquired about our satisfaction with food and service.
