The woman there greeted me and immediately began working on my brows. About 12 minutes into the appointment, I received a call from The Lash Lounge and realized I was at the wrong place. I answered and explained the honest mix-up. I even offered to reschedule and apply the $34 fee to a future appointment. I was polite and very apologetic, fully aware that their brow tech was left waiting. Unfortunately, I was met with zero empathy and told I'd be charged the full amount, no exceptions. Brow Threading told me this kind of confusion has happened before. If that's the case, maybe a little flexibility would go a long way--especially for new clients. Bottom line: mistakes happen. But how a business handles them says everything. The Lash Lounge chose to charge me for a service I didn't receive instead of offering any kind of understanding. I won't be going back. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Brow Threading Beauty Salon instead--16+ years of experience and truly kind service.

She really made sure to tailor the appointment to what I wanted and I trusted her fully. She also took the time to explain the aftercare process as well. She did give me advanced notice but I have never had someone change an appointment on me. I was leaving for a 2 week long hike, which means I could not exfoliate. Usually, I would have no problem with a change of appointment but anything that worked for me was unavailable. The waxing was pretty gentle and she did a great job of getting all the hair. My little strip looked horrible though. It was uneven and I am not happy with how it looked. I purchased a groupon so I suppose you get what you pay for. It seems she is just starting out so I just wanted to leave my experience so a bit of improvement may fellow.
