My eyes are super sensitive to brand mascaras that there are some I am allergic to and I needed to find an alternative to wearing mascara to save me some dollars wasted at the eye doctor; I was prone to eye infections and probably had around 5 per year because of mascara. Rose is absolutely the best and I could not stop looking at how much of a difference my look was because she did it so flawlessly. I work in retail part-time and keeping up your appearance is very important in the retail industry. I walked in to work a few hours after I had gotten them done, and both of my store managers immediately booked an appointment with Rose after they saw my results. I recommend that everyone go see Rose and see for yourself. You will never go back to caking on mascara ever again after you see her work! Tips to remember for first-timers, you cannot shower with your new lashes for 8-10 hours after you've had them done. So, if you have somewhere to be later that evening, I suggest to shower and have your hair ready before you go in for your appointment. So I am no longer a client here. I was religiously going to Rose every 3 weeks, but I found that my lashes weren't staying on for 3 weeks...so I changed my follow ups to every 2 weeks. Every time I went in, i could sense I was a problem for Rose because she flat out told me that she feels like she has to put a full set of lashes on me every two weeks and that I'm not a normal follow up. Mind you, I'm doing nothing out of the ordinary...i take care of my lashes...and every two weeks I still had a good amount of lashes on...just needed some fixing. So at one of the follow ups, Rose was real moody with me and told me that she can't profit off me because she's having to practically put on a new set of lashes on me every two weeks and that I should only go to her when I have events because my lashes are no longer strong and I'm no longer a good candidate for lashes. So I told her..."please, I really want to stay with you. I like your work." And, to her dismay...I scheduled another 2 week follow up. And she said, "are you sure you want to come back...I'm telling you, that you should come to me on special occasions only". So I said, yes I'm sure. So fast forward to 2 weeks later, I go in for my follow up and she doesn't even greet me...I'm just a nuisance for her at this point. She does my lashes and then says again that it's best I don't do my lashes anymore because my natural lash is brittle. (How could that be?...when I just started doing lashes about 8 months ago and it was all with her)! I can definitely sense when I'm not welcomed and told her that's fine, I won't schedule with you anymore. I ended up finding another Amazing lash artist who said my lashes are strong and I've been doing greAt with her! Rose states that she doesn't charge by the lash...that if you need more lashes than usual at your follow up then you are not charged for that (it's on her website), yet she just wanted me OUT because I wasn't conducive to her business, yet I was a devout 2 week lash client. She said my lashes were not strong enough anymore for lashes (yet the new lash artist said that my lashes were just fine)...was it because of Rose that I had so called brittle lashes and who touts that her technique does not ruin your natural lash. Anyways, this is my honest review... I think it blows that she feels like it's okay to be moody to her paying customers and then have the audacity to push them out the door and say, see ya later ...just because I don't go in with a full set of lashes every two weeks...that's her job to replenish what I'm missing. And since I'm on a roll here, let me also mention that she likes to text you and change your scheduled appointments around which can be stressful when you plan on getting your lashes that day. Another thing, my one hour appointment sometimes was just 30 minutes....and sometimes she'd give me full lashes and sometimes I'd leave with NOT SO FULL lashes because she's falling behind and her next patient is waiting. read more

Rose is great at what she does and she knows it! I was going to Rose for over a year and would drive an hour to see her every two weeks-faithfully! I really love her technique and receive so many compliments on my lashes! However, my last appointment she requested that I change my time, however, because it was a day that I scheduled other appointments, I wasn't able to change my time. Subsequently she said it was okay for me to keep my original time. Upon arriving for my appointment she seemed a little disengaged and did my lash fill for a total of 27 minutes! By any standard that would be considered a mini fill. Yet, I still paid her the full price for a full fill and a tip. I then reached out to her to book my next appointment and she has not responded to any of my text messages or phone calls, which is unlike her. Then I started thinking, she once told me before that she had a client that she no longer wanted to do her lashes because "it didn't work for her" so she stopped answering her calls and text messages. She then proceeded to tell me that she was "African American like me" (Not sure why she had to add that part). At any rate, I thought then that her comment about another client was odd and unprofessional but I didn't say anything. As a business owner in a service industry, any time you have a faithful client who takes time to drive an hour to see you every two weeks...You should be more GRATEFUL and PROFESSIONAL. To simply ignore attempts to make an appointment is rude. Now I am left scrambling to find another lash technician! Due to all of this I have to give her a 1 star rating. read more
