First red flag: Always and I stress always go with your first mind. I needed a combo brow touch up which we agreed was $360. I paid a deposit of $50. Appt set 5/13 @9 Fast forward to a week later. I called and stated several spots didn't take well and would like an appointment for her to look it over as a touch up or do over or whatever she could do to make it right as there was zero or near faint spots in those areas. I was told I need to wait an additional 2 weeks and come it for a touch up. I'm like wait, it's only been a week and I've already paid you over $400 which included a generous tip and it's been less than a week. Why do I have to pay for a touch up. She commenced to give a bogus excuse about me being an herb user. Really that's your explanation. Many people come in because of harsh pharmaceutical meds like chemotherapy and you're telling me herbs will keep you from looking over your work from a week ago just to gain an additional $129 or so from me? No I'll pass on that. I called around and asked other technicians and was told an appointment should have at least been granted rather than over the phone discussion because there's no way of truly telling until visually inspecting and 2-4 weeks later is too long for customer to be upset if all that money was paid for something they're not happy about. Vibe was ok under previous ownership but can't say I was happy and money was NOT well spent!

My daughter is Irish pale. Tina asked if she was tanning. My daughter told her no. This is who she is. The inspirational picture was of a pale person as well. The foundation was so dark my daughter looked Hispanic not pale Irish. She used dark Smokey eye shadow instead of light tone. The she put these huge eye lashes on saying they would look natural. They did not and was told to take them off. Tina was not happy and ended up leaving clumps of glue in her eyes. She only had 3 shades of lipstick and none were close to the color she asked for. When my daughter got to the wedding venue and could see herself better, she broke down sobbing. Her sisters had to strip all the makeup off and redo her. One of my girls said that Tina made her look like a Bratz doll. It was terrible. I've never seen so bad. When called the week after the wedding, Tina admitted she didn't like the way it turned out and kept making excuses and saying that's what other brides like. She didn't want to look like other brides, she wanted to look like herself. Tina agreed to give refund and even told manager she already refunded it. A week later no refund came through. Tina said she is not giving refund cause it's not her fault my daughter didn't like it. She doesn't listen to what her clients want and just does whatever she wants to do. It was stated that none of her Black clients had ever returned for a redo and that results were typically achieved in one session. Despite this, my $400 lip blushing service resulted in zero color retention--my lips looked exactly the same as before the service. My lips are not naturally dark and have a natural pink hue. This lack of result was acknowledged in person afterward, and a complimentary redo was offered due to the outcome. Following this, it became clear that additional guidance was needed, including reaching out to a mentor and sourcing new pigments specifically for highly melanated skin, which took several weeks. Over time, expectations and terms shifted, including last-minute attempts to introduce additional fees for what had already been discussed as a redo due to no outcome from the original service. If you are a highly melanated woman considering lip blushing, I strongly recommend confirming documented experience and results with pigment selection and blending for darker skin tones, and getting all policies in writing before booking. My experience involved inconsistent communication and no visible result from the initial service.
