I received a email promo advertising 20% annual refresh. Decided to take them up on the offer. Although I was skeptical at first because of change of ownership I decided to move forward simply because of my fabulous experience with Joker the previous owner. First red flag: Always and I stress always go with your first mind. I needed a combo brow touch up which we agreed was $360. I paid a deposit of $50. Appt set 5/13 @9 Fast forward to a week later. I called and stated several spots didn't take well and would like an appointment for her to look it over as a touch up or do over or whatever she could do to make it right as there was zero or near faint spots in those areas. I was told I need to wait an additional 2 weeks and come it for a touch up. I'm like wait, it's only been a week and I've already paid you over $400 which included a generous tip and it's been less than a week. Why do I have to pay for a touch up. She commenced to give a bogus excuse about me being an herb user. Really that's your explanation. Many people come in because of harsh pharmaceutical meds like chemotherapy and you're telling me herbs will keep you from looking over your work from a week ago just to gain an additional $129 or so from me? No I'll pass on that. I called around and asked other technicians and was told an appointment should have at least been granted rather than over the phone discussion because there's no way of truly telling until visually inspecting and 2-4 weeks later is too long for customer to be upset if all that money was paid for something they're not happy about. It doesn't take much to get the state of Texas to allow you to perform microblading (semi permanent tattoo) to your face, but you should be discerning. This review is long overdue! I am so happy that I found Ji Hee over a year ago. She is incredibly talented. She recommended nano needling which deposits pigment beneath the surface of the skin. I also found the procedure to be much less painful than microblading. She specializes in both, but I prefer the nano needle brows. It requires extreme precision and accuracy which Ji Hee masters perfectly. She is very detail oriented and allows you to check in throughout the process to ensure that you are satisfied. I saw Jihee on Oahu, before she moved to Texas. During my consultation, we spoke about what she could do for me, what to expect during my microblading visit. When I arrived for my microblading session, she applied a topical and gave it ample time to work. She then drew an outline as to brow shape and made sure we both liked what we saw. When she started working on me, I didn't feel anything, just pressure. I was so comfortable and her hands were so light, I dozed off. My session lasted a little over an hour. Jihee is very meticulous with her work and makes sure you're happy and before leaving she went over home care instructions and gave me a printed sheet just in case I forgot. Overall, Jihee is very personable and very professional. She is very passionate and takes pride in her work.
