The inside of the store had a very nice and relaxing vibe. It felt welcoming and comfortable, making it easy to take your time browsing through all the different items. I really liked the wide variety of products the store had to offer. There were stickers, magnets, food items, kitchen appliances, and many other things you could bring home as souvenirs from Flagstaff. The selection made it easy to find something for everyone. I loved that it's located inside a train station and that they had a really nice mix of local souvenirs tied to Flagstaff, Arizona, and Route 66. They had everything from magnets to postcards to puzzles and other little gifts. It was easy to find something cute to bring home for family and friends, and I picked up several items for to gift. The staff was also very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to sharing ideas for attractions, things to do, and places to visit around the area. Overall, it was a convenient and enjoyable stop, and a great place to get both local information and a few fun keepsakes.

We ended up purchasing some prickly pear cactus candy and their in house made mountain bark. Mountain Bark ($5.25 per square) - This is essentially an improved rice crispy treat crossed with fudge. There are tons of crispy popped rice bits interspersed with soft gooey marshmallows, some chewier melted white chocolate bits, and plenty of peanut butter flavor. It's a denser cake vs. a light and fluffy rice crispy treat, but is, dare I say, more delicious. (4/5) With such a wide variety of delicious treats, Sweet Shoppe Candy Store is definitely a great place to pick up some candy.

I've never tried the food from Sweet Day itself, although Hot Wok is good, but the tea is delicious and the boba itself is the best I've had in Flagstaff. I usually get the Thai tea and boba, although the signature is delicious, and I also love the 3 brothers tea, which is the signature milk tea with boba, jelly, and pudding. I didn't like the taro, but my friends love it, and Sweet Day has the best matcha in Flagstaff. Plus, aside from the standard milk tea and boba, they also have popping pearls and fruitier teas, which are very refreshing (I personally recommend the honey green tea and lychee pearls, or strawberry green tea and mango pearls). The staff is always great and friendly, and I love hanging out and chatting with them, or playing pool or foosball with my roommate as we grab tea. It's close to the university, but it's never busy. That's probably because not many people know it's there, which is a real shame, but also means there's rarely a line, and the drinks are always made really quickly. Overall, I highly recommend Sweet Day if you're just looking for good boba tea. If you're more hungry and the tea is a bonus, the food next door at Hot Wok is great, or check out Aloha BBQ downtown.

Sadly, one of my choices (The lemon black tea) was not available so I went with the mango tea instead and got a passion fruit tea with yogurt popping boba. The cashier said the passion fruit was her favorite flavor- alright! They make the bubble tea next door at the Chinese restaurant kitchen/drink area. It didn't take too long for my drinks to be made and they had those nicely heat sealed lids. The passion fruit drink was a little too sweet for me so I'll see if I can ask for it less sweet next time. Service was very friendly and nice. Since options are limited in Flagstaff for bubble tea and I want to support local boba business (And fuel my bubble tea addiction) I'll try more next time I'm here!

I read the decent reviews and thought I would stop in. Was happy to find they were still open at 8pm. When I went to order a tea, I had a few questions and the lady behind the bar( who later told me she was the owner) could not answer any of them! These were basic questions about ingredients and flavors that the owner had no excuse not to know. Then later, as I was drinking my tea (which was less than satisfactory), someone ordered a drink and she was unsure of how to make it. The owner didn't know how to make the teas in her own shop! The owner profile of Steep on yelp says "tea connoisseur and mixologist. " That is LAUGHABLE. I would never recommend this business. read more

Perfect for a hot coffee/tea on a cold Flagstaff day. The atmosphere is cozy with seating along the windows which only adds to the warm, inviting allure of this corner shop. There are a variety of signature teas (the masala chai is the perfect blend of spices and balanced taste). The only thing that could be improved is applying the same quality of the masala chai tea to other teas such as the vanilla mint chai.
