They came out and it took two full days for them to finish the job. They worked 12 hour days and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Every time we had an issue (which were always small things) they came out within an hour or two. When the city inspector came out to give everything the ok, he said that they never have any problems with work done by 888. That was very reassuring. This year we had them come out to replace our other furnace and install another heat pump and smart thermostat. My house needs two furnaces but because of the requirements for tax incentives, we could only replace one per year. Tom, Omar, and Lee worked for two whole days and made sure everything was working perfectly. They made sure to put down drop cloths from the front door all the way to the basement and into the furnace room so they wouldn't track in any snow or dirt. They were conscientious and hard working and cleaned up after themselves nicely. They addressed all of our questions and made sure we were happy before they left. They do still need to get us the frame that goes around our new thermostat but I'm sure that will be done soon.

They were professional, polite and left our home in great shape. I then called them for a quote on replacing my water heater. The estimator was poorly trained and not knowledgeable in how to change the exhaust from gravity to a power vent unit. He claimed he would have to remove part of the bedroom ceiling to make it work and he quoted $7500 for the replacement. I changed the water heater in four hours for $1600 total. Would make their gross profit $5900 for for hours of work. I would never recommend this company and I will tell everyone I know.

Last month I reached out based on the reviews and because of when I turned on my Swamp Cooler on I…read moresmelled something burning. In addition to the burning smell, my plastic waterline which ran from the cooler on top of the roof to the side of the house had a little kink in it. That I could've done myself I've always turned on my Swamp Cooler myself and turned it off myself but I figured since they were there why not let them do it. It's hot, and who wants to climb up on a roof if not need be. Granted it's an older swamp cooler but it works just fine. At the end of the day they sold me on replacing the entire water line with copper and charged me $525. That doesn't sound bad if the problem was resolved and if the Swamp Cooler was working properly. None of that was the case. They are up on the roof with the hose, said they oiled some things or did some readjustment not really sure didn't see them doing it. They swapped out the plastic line for copper after going to Home Depot to get the copper line, which was too short btw. I looked out my kitchen window and saw the copper line going crisscross across the kitchen window. Told them that's not going to work. At that point they use some of the old plastic line to extend the copper line using a compressor or coupler Gadget that I provided. They wanted to charge me 50 or $65 to put in the new pads in that I provided, had on hand. That sounded ridiculous to me so I did it myself. They stood there and they watched never said a word. The pads were probably 3 inches too small on each side however the water did run over the pad. All parts, the new water stop plug, pads the compressor everything I provided with the exception of the copper piping that they told me I need to have. I also have a new float device which they said I did not need. Interestingly enough they don't even sell copper piping for swamp coolers at either Home Depot and or Lowes the piping that they sell is the plastic piping. Just saying. They were nice enough, go to leave at which point I again smell the burning plastic. They come in and investigate the turn on off swamp cooler switch in our bathroom closet. Louis the father, the one who seems to be the most versed, messes around with the switch and tells me sorry I cannot do electric you will need to hire an electrician. Fine I call an electrician who comes out the same day. The electrician looks at me and says listen it's the $17 Swamp Cooler switch that needs to be replaced it's wire for wire. I go to Lowe's get the Swamp Cooler switch replace it myself. Burning smell gone all works with the exception of the Swamp Cooler leaking on the roof and leaking at the faucet. It's only leaking when it's on~as in the water is on to the cooler. So I called them and they come out, the dad is borderline crabby. He says this is not our fault, your pads are too small. Nice. Also he says your faucet is broken. at that time they replaced the plastic water line, piping of mine the had used to ensure that the copper line they put in did not run across my kitchen window, with a piece of copper pipe they brought along. They leave the old piping laying on the ground as they did during their first visit. OK I go out and buy larger pads and replace them. It still leaks. It only leaks when water to the cooler is on. Meaning water is being sent up to the Cooler. So I go up and investigate and I look at the float which looks off. Since I have a brand new float that I had intended to install this summer, the one they said I did not need, I replaced the float. This stops the leak at the cooler but the leak is still at the faucet at that point I replace the Swamp Cooler faucet attachment with a new Swamp Cooler faucet attachment and redo the waterline attachment. Guess what no more leak. No leak at the Cooler on the roof and no leak at the faucet. I guess my faucet magically fixed itself. Unfortunate for them the quote they gave me for a new furnace which is thousands of dollars cheaper than the cheapest quote I received I am not interested in. my furnace works fine the issue is my AC is out and because it's 30 years old I need to replace the whole thing. I've hired someone and I am paying $6000 more than their quote~ happily. Water is one thing gas, that gets scary. After this experience I would not trust them with gas. Also I think it also tells you a lot whether or not your contractor cleans up after themselves this was not the case on either visit. They're nice people but be careful

Scheduling was very easy to do as Signature Heating and Air is quite accommodating and with fair pricing too. Devin, their technician, arrived at the appointed time and inspected/serviced my HVAC system, which he pronounced to be in good condition. Devin also told me that Signature Air and Heating offers a spring and fall discount and recognizes senior and veterans' discounts. At my request, Devin provided me with information about replacement HVAC systems as well as the discount incentives being offered by Xcel Energy and other companies. Signature Air and Heating is reputable, easy to work with and priced right; they don't push the "hard sell", which I appreciate. Signature Air and Heating is a keeper in my book!

While the technicians themselves were friendly, my overall experience with Summit was disappointing…read more-- particularly given that they had been highly recommended by a neighbor. After the fourth visit and two failed inspections, I asked to speak with the owner. He said he'd show up on the final day and didn't. Not showing up after committing to do so speaks volumes. On multiple occasions, employees attempted to -- or did -- walk through my home beyond where work was being completed with their shoes on. This is a basic courtesy that should not have needed to be addressed. On the final day, an employee complained about the time spent waiting for the inspector to arrive. After five+ weeks of doing exactly that myself, I couldn't help but laugh internally. Most importantly, Summit advertises a "100% Right or 100% Free" guarantee on their website. These are not complicated words -- 100% means 100%, and free means free. There is no secondary meaning to either. When I raised this, I was told it essentially means they will keep trying until the job is done correctly -- which is admirable in theory, but falls well short of what "100% Free" implies when a customer has invested THOUSANDS of dollars. After reading the other reviews, I'm hoping the problem with my AC wasn't just a leak somewhere that could have been fixed for much less. I would strongly encourage potential customers to clarify what that guarantee truly means before signing a contract, and to get everything in writing.
