Came in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. There were about 15 people in the place. When our order was taken we were told they were busy and we should not expect it in 15 minutes or anything. Orders were being prepared 1 table at a time. 45 minutes later we got a pancake served with cold butter. The pancake was just kind of yellow, not brown at all. It had a terrible taste. I cannot even describe it. And the cold butter would not melt because they weren't hot. Our eggs were ordered over medium. They were over easy and without toast the yolks could not be eaten( because the pancake was so bad). The bacon was limp and not crisp at all. The hash browns and sausage patties were fine. I am hesitant to rate the service because I don't know how much was her doing. It is hit or miss here. I have rated them 5 but today was awful. read more

Drove by earlier this week and saw the sign that says,"under new management,"thought we would give this place another shot. The Good: Local folks trying to make it happen Decent tasting food but under seasoned Decent ambiance. The burgers are a straight up hit. Support local and haven't been since new Mgmt took over. Coleslaw wasn't to my taste just needed a little extra and the green beans were like eating canned beans. I would tell you to try it for sure. read more

just want to say that I used go to steamboat Lilly's with my mom when I was 14 yrs old then as a mother I took my kids there and now as a grandmother I just took my granddaughter to eat there and I loved the food back then and food is still just as delicious the service is awesome and waitress was very polite and courteous.the prices are a little high but the amount of food you get on plate and service to me is well worth it .. read more

Club sandwich cost 17.00 and 2.50 for diet coke if the waitress was on her phone the cook would bring it out @ R&R Restaurant it was 11.00 and change and the sandwich was a lot better read more

This Lil place is great! They remodeled & gave it a whole new look. Great staff & great food. If your in Hilliard u should deff stop in & try this place. It's gone cooking @ it's best. Most everything on the menu is made from scratch & cooked to order. They serve breakfast all day long too! read more

Based on open times listed on their website, we drove there from Fernandina Beach on Saturday evening, 12/3/2022, arriving about 6 PM. Website says they're open 6 AM to 9 PM, Monday thru Saturday. It was closed. Doubt we'll ever try again. read more

Beware what you order. I have been in there twice and both times my receipt total was more than double the advertised price. The waitress adds "a-la-cart" everything when taking the orders and does NOT tell you when they add costs. You get a huge shock when checking out. I let it go the first time since I was with a big group, but this past weekend my 8.99 burrito special was over 30.00. I even asked how the special was before ordering, and she said it was great. $8.99 for a breakfast burrito with eggs, meat and cheese, hashbrowns or grits and a drink. When I tried to dispute the amount, she told me since I asked for HAM instead of bacon or sausage that is was not the special and she added everything individually to the cart WITHOUT saying anything until checkout. I was stuck with a bill for a 30.00 burrito. The food is usually decent, but the service and the shady way they ring up the checks cost them a regular customer. read more

Visited 6 times ...consistent they are not. Three different styles and tastes on the mashed potatoes, two different styles of potato salad - on one the potatoes were too big for my mouth, had to cut up my potatoes to be able to eat, but the potatoes were so big that they were not cooked all the way, leaving them raw and crunchy on the inside- yuck, served a well done steak when I asked for rare to medium rare, and served covered up burnt toast - your waitresses should make sure of that not being served, but no, so you serve it to me in what, hope that I want notice. The fresh vegetables are either served bland and you need, must add salt or they were so full of salt that you could not stomach them. On top of that - I got sick of listening to all the cursing and swearing from the "men's" table in the back ...not a place for children's ears. read more

Had breakfast there three days in a row. Very friendly to a stranger like myself just passing through. If you are looking for a good old fashioned breakfast, this is the place. They are very friendly and were very comfortable with my diabetic service dog. There are a number of regulars that are loud, but to me that adds to the charm of the restaurant. I waited 56 minutes to get the wrong food. My food never came to the table. I had to leave the booth I was sitting in and ask the cashier. I waited an additional 9 minutes for them to give me my food to go which was supposed to be a grilled cheese sandwich and a BLT but I got a grilled chicken sandwich instead. There were 3 cooks in the kitchen and not one of them were wearing gloves. They were handing all the food with their bare hands and never once washed them. Do not ever eat here! read more

We went back because we knew the new manager and her family. We asked for her and were informed that she's no longer there and honestly thank god!!! It took thirty minutes for our drinks, the current manager was rude and offered no assistance to helping resolve our wait times and burnt food! The new owner has no clue about owning a restaurant and he lost the one person who was getting it going for him. Sorry but #steamboat Lillie's is a turd that just can't be polished!!! read more
