Searching and calling so many businesses about getting our kitchen tile and our sectional cleaned and getting rough estimates was rough. My husband was cleaning a clients FishTank and the guys from Steam Maxx showed as well for a regular cleaning. We received all the information and called right then and there! The owner Seth got us a quote right away and made us an appointment asap! We had company coming for the weekend for our daughter's high school graduation so we wanted a deep clean. If I could give these guys ten stars I would. They were fast. They were reliable and most of all the job they did exceeded my expectations. I have kids that are twelve and nine, a dog and a beige Sectional. Needless to say the couch usually loses When you add them all together. I was shopping for a couch and thought after looking at the prices, I'd get it recovered. That was just as expensive as buying a new one. After Contemplating, I thought I'll give it a shot and get it cleaned, that'll give me some time to really research what I want to do. I hit the jackpot when I contacted this company. I have a whole new couch! I can't tell you how excited I am did. The prices were beyond reasonable. Their service far exceeded my expectations and my couch looks brand new! They were also extremely helpful in explaining what I could do to help keep it clean. They even cleaned my throw rug and my bottom stairs and landing and floored me with how little they charaged to add those to my services. I cant wait to have them back after Christmas to do my grout and clean upstairs carpets. The pictures dont do justice to the miracle they preformed. They made me feel like family and not just a client with how friendly they were. I don't recommend companies because of past recommendations I've used that never lived up to the expectations but for this company Seth and his team deserve not only my praise but my recommendation so anyone who is looking to make a difference in the way your home and furniture looks...and smells. I guess I'll be this company's first non-5 star review. They're getting 3 stars because in the end my floors were cleaned, but I'll never use them again. Before I decided to write this review I checked with a lot of friends who know more about home ownership than I do to ensure I wasn't off base with the criticism I'm about to give. I wasn't. They did my home a few weeks ago and while doing the master bedroom they popped a circuit breaker. Now when I bought my house a home inspector I hired had told me to never even plug a vacuum cleaner into a bedroom outlet, let alone the high amperage machines carpet cleaners use. Steam Maxx didn't get that memo. This was bad enough, but then they popped another circuit breaker by plugging their machines into another bedroom outlet. This room had my WiFi router so the WiFi now was down in my home. To make things worse the boss tried to be helpful by attempting to run into the one room I had repeatedly told them not to enter (it also had a sign on the door) to reset the breaker. Luckily, I stopped him, and my cat did not get out. I almost kicked these guys out of my house, I was getting so mad, but had them finish. In the end the job was OK, but there are a lot of other highly-rated carpet cleaning services in Vegas, all of which know not to plug their high-amperage machines into bedroom outlets. Other minor issues is that when I first called I got a "Hello" answer. You're a business and I called during your business hours. I shouldn't have to ask any business "Is this so and so?" While not necessarily a red flag, it is definitely a yellow one for me. read more
