All-in-all, we were happy with the cleaning upholstery service here. They were super quick with communication, and the pricing was clear and up-front. They laid out what info they needed from me, provided scheduling options quickly without needless back and forth, and provided an easy portal and confirmation emails for a smooth process and status tracking. The actual service was also pretty good. The only thing I wish they'd clarified was how they handled stains, such as marker stains. It'd have been nice to know beforehand how they dealt with them, if at all, and what to expect with that. Otherwise, the value was overall standard and good compared to other similar businesses.

I wasn't home during the service, but my husband was, and the technician called when he arrived and explained everything clearly. They shampooed, agitated, and deodorized the carpets, and took extra care with the areas where our dog had accidents. I was especially impressed with how the stairs turned out--while they weren't heavily soiled, they tend to trap a lot of dog hair from daily use, and they came out looking really clean and refreshed. Huh? Why wasn't I told this on the phone? By the way I found out that this is called upselling, which I did not know until the tech called his "boss" and they kept haggling about the price. Please look at the photo I took of the price haggling that went on. After 1 hr 20 minutes of haggle I finally said no and the tech still wouldn't leave and then told me that he couldn't leave until I gave him $20 for gas. At that time I got a bit worried since I was all by myself dealing with a stranger that didn't want to leave my home. I finally got the guts to firmly say please leave now... and after 1 more attempt of a personal offer of getting my carpets cleaned if I paid him on the side, which I said No to; he finally left. My main advice here is to always have another trusted person with you when you have strangers in your house. Never thought I'd ever be in an uncomfortable situation like this.
