Bait and switch I have been using this company since 2019 and am very disappointed in their integrity and ethics as of late. Each year, the pricing has gone up, which is understandable as everything has, but recently, I had a carpet cleaning scheduled and received a higher quote for my home, which they have visited various times before. When the technician arrived, he added an additional $100 and stated I did not disclose my unique stairs when I called and that the house is large. Again, this company has been here several times, and all of that is noted on previous invoices. The tech then called the office and spoke with Annie, who put it back on me and stated I must've said something to lower the cost in the past and she'll notate my account as such. I'm really disappointed as I've used this company loyally for several years now and have never said or done anything to "change my price" as the original quotes were given to me when Adam came to the property years back and the invoices were noted. Instead of this being a good experience, the interaction was accusatory and degrading. This felt like a bait-and-switch situation in which the tech tried to take advantage of a woman. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Adam, thank you for the years you have serviced our home. We have been looking for another Chem-Dry since our friend got out of the business years ago. We tried a couple of traditional steam cleaners and were disappointed since the carpets get dirty so fast after regular steam cleaning. We tried another Chem-Dry (I don't recall which one) and it was just so-so. We decided to try Precision Chem-Dry, even though they are based in Henderson and we are in the NW. Annie was a delight on the phone. John arrived right on time and did a wonderful job, the carpets are fresh and clean like we used to experience from our friend's Chem-Dry. You can tell that John likes what he does and enjoys the company he works for. That makes a difference in the cleaning, and in the experience of having the cleaning professional in your home. I called around and read reviews. The lady who answered was very nice and they were able to accommodate a cleaning a few days after my call. We were getting ready to sell her house and wanted our carpets cleaned before the showing. The technician was very nice, but was only at my house for 15 minutes. I have dogs, so we paid extra for the special formula to release pet odor. When the technician was finished, I questioned the fact that there were some dry spots and he told me that everything was covered. He didn't show me where he had spot treated with the pet cleaner. Almost a month later, we are moving out. I purchased an industrial Rug Doctor as I'm not sure if the new owners are going to keep the carpet. Needless to say, the water that is coming out is almost black! I've only had 12 people come through the house since the technician first came. My dogs haven't been in the house either. I called the organization, and I was told that they could come out and spot treat since it was still within 30 days. I had explained to her what was happening and all I received was "Sorry".
