This is a RE-REVIEW from my July 14, 2026 comments. It is now August 5th....I have had the filters changed - a A/C company came out and checked the Air ducts - told me they were sealed and dust couldn't get in to expose to my carpeting. E Carpet Care came out and charged me $ 694.00 to clean 3 rooms and a hallway (+sofa and 1 chair) ....and I still have dust in my carpeting and breathing it for the last 2 months!! I have shampooed the carpet myself and it amazed me that 2 weeks after E Carpet was here ... the water came out black with dust and dirt! My cleaning help some but the dust was still there (less of it). Someone suggested I call a Quality Air Professional. I did and they wanted to charge me $3,000 just for determining what was causing the dust in my carpet. I KNEW THAT ANSWER ALREADY .. I just didn't know what do do about it. NOW, looking through Amazon for the million-th time, I found a Arm and Hammer Baking Soda based powder that you sprinkle on - let stand for 25-20 minutes - rake the vacuum and it is SUPPOSED to deodorize the carpet (I get it tomorrow) and hopefully my life will be back to normal again!!!
