Although I won't reveal the name of the large national high-end chain store that sold me this beautiful but expendable rug I don't think any of these stores reveal this fatal flaw in their products before you get them out of the barn, or barrel, or off their tree-named street ;^}. Tim was honest and funny -- "I'm not allergic to money but I don't want you to waste yours!" -- and he gave me good advice for free. THIS is what real customer service is all about: expertise, honesty, empowerment of the customer, and NEVER providing a service that is not needed or inappropriate. I have other REAL orientals that will need cleaning, and friends with many more, and I know who I will call/recommend when they need care. Aegis has my trust, and that is something earned and deserved, even when it is given for free!

Richard recommended a scent remedy for the office carpet and in a short time was set up with all his carpet cleaning products and gear getting stains out and surprisingly done before I expected. He did a great job of getting the hallway stain out and our office carpet was finally rid of the chemical scent. Our carpet dried pretty quickly which was a plus and has stayed looking and smelling clean since the visit . Richard charged us very reasonable prices and I will be using him again in the future . I have 6 kids, as you can imagine, they can be a bit dirty. We were moving out of a house and the carpeting and grout, needless to say, were filthy (I wish I had before pictures for you). Jason agreed to clean our carpets on a Sunday with another guy. They spent a couple of hours cleaning the Berber carpeting and grout. I ended up choosing Precision Carpet and I have not been disappointed. They have a nice, professional website, they're responsive to email and calls, and they can usually get me booked within a week. We choose the Green Clean because we have birds and they are sensitive to chemicals; this service usually costs more than the standard cleaning, but because the area they are cleaning here is so much smaller than the maximum square footage they cover in the price, they charge me for a standard clean instead. They also only charge me for a bedroom and stairs rather than adding a charge for the closet, again because of the small area. Precision clearly cares more about their customers than they do the money, and I appreciate that. We just had our second clean done and they have always sent very professional and friendly guys for the job. They also always arrive during the 3 hour window and complete the task in a timely manner. We plan to buy a house once our current lease ends (Sept 2017) and will continue to use Precision in our home.

I called this company in the spring when my regular carpet cleaner was full and could not fit me…read morein. Huge mistake. I should have waited. I have berber carpet, which is admittedly difficult to clean, but a good company can handle it and know that you cannot over wet it. When it is over wet and left that way, spots will wick back up. Two guys showed up and were in and out in less than an hour. My carpet looked good for about an hour. I did notice that it seemed overly wet and as the day went on, more and more spots reappeared; even spots that had been removed by my previous guy. Long story short...my carpet wasn't completely dry for three days, and this was with the air turned down low, ceiling fans on and floor fans blowing. When it finally did dry, it looked worse than when before they came. Additionally, they didn't put any plastic squares under any of the legs of my furniture. I had to cut up plastic bags and put it under the legs of my dining table, chairs, etc... I would NEVER use these people again. I notice that they have multiple web pages and names, but it is all the same company, Precision Carpet Care, Round Rock Carpet Cleaning, Austin Carpet Clean... all the same company. Just had my regular guy come out and my carpet looks wonderful again.
