They…read morewere quick, at one point it was going to rain mid-way through the install so they pulled out all the stops and they got my roof done ahead of schedule before it rained. Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

Texas Dry Out & Restoration is an Awesome Family-owned business. I give them top marks! Diego was…read moreexceptionally perceptive in noticing problems which might easily have escaped attention--that the air conditioning unit, only recently inspected by my Heating and cooling company has significant problems which should have been caught and attended to by that company. Invaluable, perceptive--beyond my expectations. Thorough, professional, and quick service! Start here! I was impressed that Deigo knew exactly what to look for, and didn't miss anything. I was very surprised and pleasantly surprised that even though I called very late--at 10 pm on a Sunday night; as late as it was, the company owner, Francois, answered the phone; and further, that he promised to send somebody the next day! When I was stressed by the issues which delay might mean, such a rapid response brought immeasurable peace of mind. I had just learned that not only did I have a rat infestation, but that it couldn't be addressed until an unexpected hole in my roof was repaired! At such a moment, time is of the essence! Delays can result in catastrophe--with Texas Dry Out & Restoration, I'm able to act quickly, potentially saving me from worsening conditions well beyond the immediate issue which had prompted my call. My attic has PEX pipe plumbing; Diego noticed that rats had already chewed on insulation surrounding the PEX pipe. If rats puncture the PEX pipe, Ì could be looking at a catastrophic issue, costing thousands of dollars and capable of destroying irreplaceable valuables. I can't thank Diego and this family-owned business enough for their outstanding service! The company has been in business 25 years, with appropriate credentials. I had just learned I have a large hole in the roof, which led to a neighborhood rat convention. I suspected there was an issue a few days earlier, when I heard the sounds overhead--above the ceiling--of little feet & another species "laughing and singing and having a party".... Ì called a pest control expert, who climbed up on the roof, and discovered that a satellite dish had fallen over, and the base, bolted to the roof, ripped up a chunk of the roof. He showed me a photo--the gaping hole was an invitation for a rat convention! Of course, No rat remediation was possible until Ì could repair the hole in the roof; two nights ago Ì moved into the living room so I didn't have to wake up at 2:30 in the morning to the sound of rats dancing and partying and running around, overhead. They are NOT considerate as housemates! I found Texas Dry Out & Restoration through Yelp; Diego ( a very personable young man) showed up the next morning and cheerfully but knowledgeably and professionally inspected the whole house, including all of my appliances, bathroom and kitchen, laundry and the outside foundation, as well. The hole in the roof was obvious. Fortunately, whatever caused the satellite dish to topple over, ripping open the roof, as it's base (anchoredthe roof of the house) separated from the house, happened so recently, not enough time had passed to allow water damage to complicate matters. Diego made several recommendations ie, replacing my ancient water heater, checked thoroughly for signs of water damage around my kitchen sink and bathrooms, found a leak in the seal around the AC unit, and light coming into the attic, around the edge of flashing which had been used to repair a soffit, poorly designed, where rats gnawed their way inside, several years ago. Diego was finished and quickly on his way after an efficient and complete house inspection, having identified a half-dozen issues which I needed to address before they turned into new disasters! I only wish I could give Deigo and Texas Dry Out & Restoration more stars, for doing such a professional and thorough job, respectfully and thoughtfully, and additionally, teaching me what to look for, as well. Great value; very reasonably priced. I will definitely use Texas Dry Out again, should any future problems require such assistance. I'm beyond grateful for their services. There's a reason they have been in business for so many years!

This July, right before our move-in day, our 12-yr old HVAC had a line back up that caused a lot of water damage. When comparing companies to ask for help, I took special notice of the many reviews talking about TX Dry Out going above and beyond to help stressed-out people navigate insurance claims. As a disabled woman I know just how agonizing it can be to work with health insurance companies, so TX Dry Out was my first pick. I was impressed by Diego's inspection process, the equipment he used and how thorough he was, and also how patiently he explained the terminology and our different options. His expertise became even more obvious when I got a second quote from another popular company---the other tech was friendly, but had cheaper equipment, did not explain much, and gave disappointing answers to questions I only knew to ask because Diego had already explained things to me. The difference was night and day, and not just because the other company only does mitigation work, leaving the customer to figure out the build-back process. TX Dry Out was miles ahead of the game by comparison in every respect. During the mitigation and build-back processes, Diego and his crew were just amazing. They took good care of our property (I was amazed how thorough their plastic containment system was) and were excellent at coordinating with other contractors doing repairs at the same time. They were also happy to work with us on the specific HVAC company we wanted to use, which was a relief. Diego sent us multiple progress videos and never batted an eye when we dropped by to take a look at things in person. The build-back went much faster than expected, which was a relief given our stressful moving timelines. Diego was TRULY AMAZING in helping us navigate the insurance claim process. In all our conversations about the mitigation, the build-back, and insurance, he never rushed me, never got impatient with all my questions by calls and texts, and never judged me when I got confused or overwhelmed. He even reached out to a colleague for advice on something specific to our situation, which he didn't have to do. And a whole week after the entire process was complete, he helped us troubleshoot questions about the water heater that had been removed and reinstalled. Diego proved himself to be a real professional who genuinely cares. Obviously I hope we never go through this ever again, but if water damage does happen to me or anyone I care about, I cannot imagine going through it without the expertise of Diego and Texas Dry Out & Restoration! THANK YOU!

I hired All Nation Restoration for remediation work in my home. During the project, one of their…read moretechnicians used bleach in a carpeted area without putting down plastic, tarps, or other protective floor covering. This resulted in permanent bleach damage in multiple areas of my high-quality, continuously installed Berber carpet, including highly visible areas in the middle of the room. What disappointed me most was not simply that damage occurred, but how All Nation handled it afterward. The company initially characterized the damage as something that can occur during remediation work despite taking precautions. In my case, there was no floor protection in the affected area. Their project manager came to my home shortly after I discovered the damage and saw the area firsthand. All Nation's own carpet professional subsequently advised in writing that repairs could look good but "possibly not perfect" and that replacement would be the alternative because a matching carpet was unlikely to be available. My independent carpet professional reached the same conclusion and recommended replacement. In an effort to compromise, I obtained a $2,400 estimate to replace only the affected common areas rather than the continuous carpet installation throughout my entire second floor. All Nation had offered a $1,000 credit, so I asked them to contribute an additional $1,400 toward this solution. They declined, characterizing replacement as my "preference." Yes, I do prefer my home to be returned to me in the condition in which they found it. I ultimately attempted the less expensive repair option using my own carpet professional. Unfortunately, the result confirmed what both carpet professionals had predicted: the repaired area remains visibly distinguishable from the surrounding Berber carpet. I am now left with a permanent, noticeable flaw in a high-traffic area of what had previously been a uniform, continuous carpet installation. My concern was never that I wanted a discount or that I was trying not to pay them (I have since made final payment). My concern was that the damage occurred during work performed without floor protection and that All Nation treated offering a credit and the ability to patch the carpet as sufficient, regardless of whether the repair actually restored it to its prior condition. I believe a restoration company should take reasonable precautions to protect a customer's property and, when preventable damage occurs, work toward a solution that reasonably restores the property to its prior condition. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and it is the reason for my rating.
