Updating my review because Quick Dry Restoration came to the rescue again. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! I had bought a used washer and set it up in my upstairs laundry room, and unfortunately did not hook it up to the wall correctly.... I ran a wash and water spewed out onto the floor and even leaked through the floor on to the ceiling down to the garage. It was a disaster!!! I called Quick Dry and they came out removed the standing water and dried out the area making sure there was no moisture left in the floor or walls. They were so helpful and accommodating, they even gave me a discount for being a returning customer. Im so glad to have them quickly respond to my call, they will now be my go to guys. read more

My home suffered water damage during last February's winter storm. Signed a contract with Quick Dry in April. Was told to pack what we needed because we would be back in the house in a few months. EIGHT months later here is my home is still gutted. They will not tell us where our belongings are being stored and are threatening US with a mechanic's lien due to THEIR unwillingness to draw on money that our mortgage company is holding. These people should never be allowed in anyone's home. They riffled through, damaged, and stole some of our belongings. Our home was treated like someone's trash, leaving windows open for weeks exposing our home to the weather, additional mold issues, and outlandish utility bills. I have photos, emails, letters, and so much more if you would like proof of why not one person should EVER use this company! If the owner responds to this review I'll be shocked, since I asked more than 10 times to speak with him over the 8 months and he finally called when I said I was hiring an attorney. If he does respond it will only be to gaslight me like the rest of his staff has done over the last 8 months. Our house is still a disaster after a year, my family has suffered SO much emotional damage, and I am beyond angry. They aren't even part of the Better Business Bureau but has a similar complaint to mine in 2020. This company was subcontracted by our primary plumbing firm. Throughout the lifecycle of the unexpected leak and water problems, there were constant inconsistent communications. I basically managed not only the project, but having to correct and reschedule dropoff and pickup of drying equipment. Along with demanding documented moisture readings and insuring via a documented trail I would not be billed. The company blamed it on a "new dispatch system", and missed emails with faulty text messages. Two months later, Quick Dry attempted to bill me $900. They had somehow incorrectly coded the billing to invoice me, when in fact, they were contracted by a plumbing company (mentioned above). Stay well clear. read more

The work: water mitigation and reconstruction. Pros: the company handled the damage (flooding) timely. Cons: Way overpriced. This company charges DOUBLE what other companies charge and gave me a false (verbal) estimate when I talked with the project manager just before I signed the contract. The reconstruction head became impatient and snippy with me when collecting payments, even though my insurance and I have already paid their department but it wasn't communicated among themselves. TL;DR - We would not recommend using this company. While they were quick to come out to get started on work, what the sales rep both communicated and did not communicate about pricing did not align with what we were billed. Even though we got the billing department to reduce the price based on communications we saved from the sales rep they were still almost double what our Insurance would cover for this type of work. This is my account of my experience with Quick Dry Restoration, your experience may vary. I am trying to be as detailed as possible so this is a bit of a read. We had a plumbing leak in our home and contacted a plumber for emergency services. The plumbers contacted Quick Dry Restoration to come out, before asking us, but since this was our first time dealing with flooding in our new home we went along with it. The representative showed up quickly and got to work checking for water damage and explaining issues and procedures that they could perform. The entire time we were consistently told thing would be industry standard pricing. The sales rep, whose business card says he is the Director of Residential Sales, mentioned multiple times that their priced aligned with xactimate (a tool used by insurance companies). We hadn't spoken with our insurance yet so we put off having them start work right away. After speaking with our insurance the contractors they suggested to start mitigation for our flooding couldn't get to our home until the next day. When I contacted Quick Dry they were able to get equipment to our home that evening. We were delivered two dehumidifiers, we would later be told by our insurance adjuster this was overkill for the space. One of the dehumidifiers did not work and they would need to send another one out the next day to replace it which they did. During this time I had texted the sales rep to confirm pricing of the dehumidifiers. At one point I asked to confirm if the price was "per dehumidifier per day" or "per day total" to which the rep responded "per day". To me this implied "per day total". The sales rep followed up by saying it was "industry standard pricing according to xactimate which is the software the ins companies use to pay out." No other fees were mentioned by the sales rep. Ultimately we decided not go with Quick Dry Restoration due to other negative reviews about their work on yelp. We would have left a more positive review of the company until we received our bill. Our bill for 2 dehumidifiers for 4 days came out to be around $1380. This was quite a sticker shock to say the least. Initially we were charged $880 for 2 pieces of equipment from Monday evening to Thursday evening, we were charged close to $240 for setup/take down/monitoring of equipment, $75 decontamination fee, $82 supervisor fee, and $105 in sales tax. When we started questioning the prices the representative we were working with kept using language like "I'm sorry you feel like there was a miscommunication" which is a passive way of not taking responsibility and transferring the blame to us. This was after showing a screenshot of the text message between myself and the Director of Residential sales which shows him saying the cost is "industry standard pricing according to xactimate which is the software the ins companies use to pay out". The billing representative repeatedly told us there is "no such thing as industry standard pricing". If the sales rep tells you that it is industry standard pricing but the billing department tells you there's no such thing there is absolutely a miscommunication between the company's representatives and their customers. After some back and forth the billing department agreed to charge $130 per day total for the equipment but still left us with $470 in additional fees. Our bill was reduced from $1380 to $990. The billing department said that they use xactimate as a guideline but set their own custom fees. My insurance adjuster said there was not much we could work out since the company is setting fees. We agreed to pay the reduced bill. I let the billing department know that these miscommunications are deceitful and that the bill feels punitive for not continuing with their services. Again they used passive language to apologize that "you feel you were misguided". I do not appreciate being gas lighted about errors made by the company whether those errors were purposeful or an accident. read more

These guys are amazing! My son had stuffed our toilet full of t shirts when my wife and I were sleeping, completely flooded our downstairs bathroom, down the hallway, and into our kitchen. We panicked but quickly got on google and found Quick Dry. Johnny came out and saved the day. Was very surprised with how quick, kind, and mostly considerate he was for the situation. If you want someone to treat your things like their own, call these guys! I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone and they thoroughly made sure everything was a good as new. HORRIBLE company. Hired in October. First crew was efficient. Then 2 weeks went by with no work done. Talked to many people at the company when no one showed up to work. Second crew finally finished their part. Another week went by with no work done. The 3rd crew sent a single guy who only replaced sheetrock. He left and never came back to paint, rehang shelves, rehang the water closet door, and repair the bathroom floor. I called company representatives & they never sent anyone. They never finished the work!! Quick Dry Restoration left my house & me in turmoil for 6 weeks! Quick Dry workers never finished the work, but still charged me $11,000! Paid them off just to get rid of them, even though they didn't do the work! 6 weeks of hell. I had to hire a handyman to complete the work. HORRIBLE company! read more

Quick Dry Restoration came to the rescue when my puppy tore through my toilet pipe and flooded my bathroom and living room floor while I was out running errands. I was in a panic, they were able to come out in less than 30 minutes and immediately assisted to remove the water and prevent any further damage. John was incredibly reassuring and was able to put my stress at ease and give me a run down of the process and that they would deal with my insurance. I had issues with mold in the past and I knew it is best to dry out the area as soon as possible. They dried out the rooms for three days then sprayed the area with antimicrobial. After the job was done they followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied. I am very happy I came across them and chose them to help. I will use again if I ever come across this tragic event! read more

This company is an absolute scam! Please don't use them. I wish I read the reviews before contacting them to repair water damage in my home. They are trying to charge me and my insurance company for fake work with fake prices and since my insurance company won't cover the chargers (because they are inflated or not real) QuickDry is threatening to file a lien or bond claim against my property. They are unwilling to work with my insurance rep on the pricing and charges. They lied and said they already came to an agreement with my insurance company, which was not the case at all. They used toxic paint in my house without informing us. They are the WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD AND WILL RUINING YOUR LIFE DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! I could write a novel on everything they have done to me but it's too traumatic to revisit. I'm writing this review 6 months after starting to work with them and am still dealing with their BS. I unfortunately suffered a large pipe leak that flooded the second floor of my home and consequently, our walls too. We were referred to Quick Dry Restoration and they came within 35 minutes to start the water mitigation process. Within 1 week they did the demo and completed the drying. Their team was extremely kind and professional. During the billing process they worked easily with my insurance company to resolve everything. Quick Dry fell into my lap when I called Stan's to repair a pipe that broke during a freeze. The plumber put me in touch with Quick Dry to immediately start mitigation. Normally, I like to research companies before selecting one, but I didn't really have that luxury given the urgent situation. The mitigation team I worked with (John, Andrew, and Travis) were fantastic. They were quick to respond and on top of things. During the demo phase, were so respectful of my home. There were a few hiccups during the reconstruction phase. However, some of that was due to insurance logistics. Nonetheless, Donna and Penny rose to the challenge. The level of customer service they showed floored me; they are outstanding! Once the hurdles were cleared, everything moved quickly. A different carpet cleaner did a sub-par job on my mom's house right right before we were getting ready to sell it, so I called Quick Dry and they were able to come out on short notice and really take care of the issue professionally and thoughtfully. John, from the dishonest plumbing company American Eagle, referred me to THIS dishonest company. I was lied to about my toilet being removed, about my toilet being broken, about my tile and wall being cracked, about my toiletry shelf being removed, about the total price, about a payment plan, and about the definition of the term mitigation. I was informed, on at least FIVE OCCASIONS, by both Daniel (who left the company in the middle, with no notice to me) and current manager Johnny, that the demo and mitigation INCLUDED reconstruction, and that my TOTAL estimate would be 2100. I WENT WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE LESS THAN MY 3200 DEDUCTIBLE, AND INFORMED THEM OF THIS. They then sloppily demoed, and tried to invoice me for 3700. Quickly realizing I wasnt playing ball on an amount I NEVER SIGNED OFF ON, they sent a 2100 invoice. But WITH THAT 2100 INVOICE, they stated that reconstruction was not included. I am now down to one toilet in my entire house because they said they werent taking mine out, then did, breaking it in the process. I was also advised that I would NOT have to deal with insurance, and that they would be putting my property to rights during the latter part of the project. All lies. I have filed a BBB report and am reserving all potential legal remedies. We had a water heater leak- so quick dry restoration was referred to us- so check the damage of the leak. They showed up on time, and- told us just to put a fan on it and dry out the drywall. They were honest, they didn't make up 'additional work'- they came, made me he assessment, said nothing needed to be done.
