This Streak N Shake needs 5 stars all across the board. I've been going here for YEARS, since I was a little girl and this steak 'n shake has never failed with its top quality. While it's a big chain you definitely receive different service based on the location. This is the #1 location. I have moved about 40 minutes away and when I want my Nutella milkshake, I will drive ALL THE WAY just for this location!! This is MY steak 'n shake and i will continue to go to this specific location until the doors close or I die read more

My husband is going through some medical issues and so after a long day of fasting, we decided to grab some lunch at steak 'n Shake. Obviously we haven't been there in a long time and we're not very happy with the changes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but you have to order on a kiosk. I asked if we couldn't just have a menu and sit down and they said no you had to order on the kiosk, but they were very helpful and showed us everything on the kiosk and then they told you to go get your drink. What I didn't know is that you have to scan your receipt first before you can pour your own tea. I was also disappointed in the menu. They don't even have salads anymore, so I ordered a hotdog and I asked for a side of coleslaw instead of french fries. Nope! They don't even have coleslaw anymore. The hotdog was good. The meat seems like good quality. I was just kind of disappointing that you couldn't get what you actually wanted. My husband got some kind of double cheeseburger and a milkshake. He said they were both very good. He said that the meat was better quality than most of the fast food burger places. Ambience well it's really bright and pretty with the red and white and black color but you have to be willing to bus your own tables and bring your own food to the table. I will have to say that the manager that was very kind. Seeing my husband's medical condition he did bring the food to our table without us even asking. I guess we had just expected to go in and sit down and get a menu and relax a bit. Instead, you gotta work for your lunch you reminded me of the grocery stores that are putting in all the self checkout. read more

The food has improved so much! The staff is ready to help. What a change. We will be coming quite often

Service was fast and friendly! I don't go here often so I just got a steak burger kids meal with cheese sauce on the side. The cheese fries were delicious but I wasn't a fan of the burger, too greasy. I couldn't eat it. read more

Absolutely delicious and a good value for quality grass fed wagyu burgers. It's a franchise but well managed and clean. The ordering screen is very intuitive and an easy transaction. Our only regret is we wish we had one near us. read more

The staff here was extremely rude and condescending. I ordered one milkshake and was met with an unfriendly face at the drive thru. They didnt say anything to me. Another person came up to the window and rudely told me I needed to pull around again. I'd understand if it was a big order but it was one milkshake, the attitude and making me go back around was unnecessary, as there was a long line that I had to wait on again. When I pulled around and finally got my milkshake they gave me the wrong one, didn't realize til I pulled off and at this point I wasted 20 minutes there so didn't feel like going back around and telling them. Very poor service at this location. The University & Alafaya location is 100% better. read more

Great Service always but the sweet tea is hit and miss. I think some days they forget to put sugar in it. 4 bucks down the tube numerous times. Please Taste test it! read more

Service: Excellent experience! Out food was prompt and fresh from the take-out window. Window service was prompt and to the point Food: #1 double Burger was fresh and made exactly to order. Great taste and was assembled as it should be. Fries were very fresh and still piping hot. Shake was fresh (chocolate). We will return read more

Steak 'n Shake is always a solid choice. The burgers are tasty, the fries are crispy, and the milkshakes are the perfect treat--super creamy and full of flavor. Everything comes out fresh and just the way you want it. The place has a classic diner feel, and the staff is friendly and quick with service. Whether you're stopping in for a late-night meal or grabbing something with friends, it's always a dependable and satisfying spot. If you're craving good food at a great price, Steak 'n Shake never disappoints! :) read more

Overall the vibe inside is cool and is a popular place for people in the area but it is just a mid tasting burger it's not bad but it's also not good. The service is good tho read more

Food was great!! Good value. There was a helpful, young man there (Vuk) who was very pleasant and kept himself busy keeping the store clean and tidy. read more

Room temperature french fries. Dirty tables, floors and bathrooms. A bad attitude from staff when requesting HOT french fries. Early afternoon and not busy, so one would think a 20 minutes wait for fast food would deliver more than a deconstructed cheeseburger unacceptable fries. 3rd visit since the 'remodel' and definitely my last due to the poor quality of food. When the gentleman who owns the franchise is not on property the staff is not properly engaged in their duties. Disappointed read more

The food was amazing. The bathroom needs to be more clean. Grilled cheese was amazing. The Oreo M&M milkshake was also amazing.

Service is always great, the food always seems cooked to order... but the milkshakes are what have my heart. They, HANDS DOWN, have the best shakes of any fast food place I've ever tried. And if that's not good enough, they have a happy hour from 2-4 where the shakes are discounted!! 10/10 would recommend even for the milkshakes alone. read more

I do not support Steak n Shakes across the nation but this one has my 5 stars! Friendly staff & fresh, hot food! read more

Steak ’n Shake - Butter Double Steakburger - American Near Me - Oviedo, Florida

Terrible service and customer attention! Tonight, I went to buy a Nutella shake, and when I tasted it, it was extremely sweet--very different from how they usually prepare it. I went back and politely asked them to change it because it was way too sweet or concentrated, and the staff's reaction was to mock me and say I was crazy while laughing with their coworkers as they prepared the new shake. Their attitude really upset me, so I asked for a refund. I had an unnecessarily unpleasant experience just for expressing that the shake was not made as usual, even though I have been coming here for years. Awful and rude customer service! read more

Actually a great location compared to other places!! The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and comes out fast. Nicely run location, my go to location for Steak n Shake!! read more

While I haven't had Steak 'n Shake in quite some time , I "got a taste" for it while thinking of tonight's dinner ideas. It wasn't very busy at 6 pm on a Sunday night which made ordering and receiving the food exceptionally timely- not that I've ever had to wait very long for any Steak 'n Shake item. The dining area was clean except for a few fries on the floor but that's expected for the run of the mill Fast food joint. You get what you pay for. However, this phrase isn't applicable when it came to the tastiness of our food. The dinner was delicious, food came out hot, and everything was made as ordered. Even the bathrooms were up to par. Overall great experience and good spot for friends, family, and even, dare I say, a date? read more

food has always been decent being it's cooked fresh but the place is filthy. the kiosk, the paper napkin holder, the tables the partitions...clean them...everything in the place people touch with their hands...gross..hotbed for covid read more

Great late night milkshake with a variety of flavor options to choose from! Thick and creamy!

My first time here. I ordered curbside via the website. Got there, parked in the designated spot and called to let them know I arrived per the instructions. Someone very cheerful answered and told me my order would be right out. Someone else, equally as cheerful came out with my order shortly after. A very pleasant experience and when you sign up on the website, you can get a free milkshake on your birthday ! read more

So many low star reviews for this place... What on earth are people expecting from a place with a $4 meal menu??? I for one love steak and shake, and their food and service has never been a disappointment for me. We came in most recently this past Sunday for lunch. They were pretty busy but the host was very friendly and made sure we were seated quickly. Our waitress was super nice and made a few recommendations on things we might like. Always bonus points in my book. The food came out quicker than we expected as it looked like they were short staffed and had managers running the grill. The food tasted great as always. I normally get the double steak burger and fries... $3.99 plus I always get cheese fries for the extra small cost. We saw that they just started a 2 for $3 menu too, looks like a lot of great options on there too! Hot sandwiches and hot fries, cold drinks. What more can you ask for from a steak and shake?? Thank you guys for a nice Sunday afternoon lunch! read more

Their new version of a handmade milk shake is mixing non flavored machine made soft serve in a blender with vanilla syrup. They used to have good shakes, now is just a cold chemical tasting soup. Got my money refunded, going to find a better shake somewhere else. False advertising should be illigal. read more

Our last visit gets one star, we had Darious and Rachel as servers, the manager never left the kitchen. We also heard her yelling at the cook when we arrived, she was loud. There were two managers still bad service. The dinning room was a mess, the waiters were just bad. I am told by others in the group they appear to be untrained and need training. I don't think either should be waiters. However I give them the benefit of doubt and will blame the manager, we waited a long time just for drinks and Rachel just dumped them on one spot on the table, Darious was really not good as he was actually the waiter. He couldn't even ring up the bill so had Rachel do it. It was of course wrong. Food took very long and had to ask for refill twice. We were in there way to long over an hour and a half. You know drive through gets in and out fast but they don't serve the inside at a decent rate. If it were up to me I would not go back or at least not eat inside. We have gone here before and service was okay, I think new people not trained. read more

Seriously....could this place be any more dirty ? I've always been told the best way to judge how clean a kitchen is in a restaurant is to take a look at the condition of the restrooms. As far as I'm concerned, they failed and I'm sorry that I risked the health of my granddaughter. Shame on me. Also, I noticed a real issue during my visit with the checkout system. If the staff would pay attention, maybe customers wouldn't have to wait ridiculous amounts of time to pay. A real issue when entertaining a two year old. Management/ Training Issues !!!!!!! Real steak patties and the buns are slightly toasted with a hint of butter. Shoestring fries are super skinny. Splash with ketchup and that orange Steak n Shake seasoning.
