Good food as usual. Why is it so difficult to get an order correct? Doesn't a cheeseburger usually have cheese on it? When you order a steak frank with no ketchup, why does it have only ketchup on it? Not a life or death level complaint, but still an annoyance. read more

I order a single burger and got a burger with only onions. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no pickles. It was gross and i couldn't eat them. Fries were hot and ok and shake was ok, not as good as they used to be. Hope if beef gets cheaper the hamburgers get better. $15 meal for one and i will go back to packing sandwiches on trips. read more

We were in town for the holiday and had the pleasure of two delicious late-night meals at Steak 'n Shake. Both times, Clayton was our server, and he was absolutely wonderful. He's a very respectful and polite young man, and our orders were perfect and came out quickly even with a busy crowd. On our second visit, Clayton even surprised us with some origami -- such a thoughtful touch that we'll always remember. The little things go a long way! One of the only places open later besides the typical fast food joints in the Branson area. Food is consistent in quality and quantity as any other Steak 'n Shake. Employees were working hard to cook and service a full dining room. If you're hungry later in the evening, this is the best option. read more

The worst of Branson, congrats!!! The manager can't handle any amount of issues. One of our meals came out, 15 minutes later 2 more, at this point I'm freaking done and tell our waiter I need to go bags and to cancel the rest we have better shit to do then spend hours eating fast food. He just tries to blow me off and tell me it's coming and stands by the kitchen. At this point I'm pissed I said I was done wanted to pay and leave. Not wait longer so i find the manger who just takes off the food we didn't want and hides in the back like a little girl. They give good competition to the good burger chains. Grilled patty stands out, for chains almost as good as the steak houses. I don't like burger much but it is pretty good, and enjoyed their fries with chili, I never like fries and this is close to my liking. And price is very competitive too. We were literally in the parking lot trying to park, and my husband and father were kicked out of their table because we all weren't there. This location has definitely seen better days. They were busy, which we took as a good sign, but it ended up being a pretty bad experience. The music was too loud and it was pretty warm. When we arrived, it took about 10 minutes for someone to even say anything about seating us. That's fine, I could tell they were busy and probably a bit short-staffed, but it would have been nice to hear a quick, "Be with you in a minute." It was the same thing after we were sat. Our waiter took a bit to get to us but got our drinks quickly. We never did get straws despite asking multiple times. When our food got there, though, things went way downhill. All three of our burgers were soggy and the burger patties weren't crisp at the edges like they usually are at Steak n' Shake. The butter burger with onions was soggy enough that my friend couldn't pick it up because the bottom bun was literally falling apart. The fries were all teeny-tiny pieces and my chocolate shake definitely had peanut butter in it. Lucky thing I'm not allergic to peanut butter. Our server also never checked on us again after we got our food, meaning we couldn't get drink refills, other sauces, or even ask to send our food back because of how soggy it was. By the time we got up to pay, the people behind us in line when we got there hadn't even been seated yet. It also took FOREVER to pay because the group in front of us (12+ people) all paid individually, including the kids, and they only had one person available to cashier. Of course, that isn't the fault of the restaurant, but still worth mentioning because the group seemed like regulars. I'd go to the other location - it's worth the drive. read more

They have the times wrong, this location is 24 hours, so someone messed up with the times as the other location is listed 24 hours and they closed at 9pm. We were looking for a place to eat after the Collin Raye, Pam Tillis and Sammy Kershaw concert ended. The food here is just as good as the one we tried in Vegas, but the menu is a lot smaller. Fewer choices for chili so skipped that on this place. The Shake I had, which was Strawberry was superb!!!! Overall, good place to eat! And would recommend it! read more

My family and I went to Steak & Shake. Got right in and was seated immediately. Our waitress was both nice and attentive. We all had burgers but for my youngest who had chicken strips. I liked my meal and so did everyone else . When I got the bill I found out that kids eat free. What a nice surprise. Overall really good. Food, waitress were both good and did not have to wait in line. They could afford to replace some of those ceiling tiles as they were stained and looked dirty see the attached pictures. This is the first self serve Steak n Shake I have visited. By that I mean you get your own drinks, buss your own table to have a place to sit. Clean up when you leave if you are nice so the next person doesn't have to do the same. Food was ok, but the line was out the door and they only had 5 people working the entire place due to Covid.
