The food was amazing and so were the drinks. 10/10 recommend this place. The atmosphere and service were also stellar.

It was a special occasion - my cousin's birthday! The ambiance was lovely - low lights but sufficient enough to read the menu and see one another. We started with a few appetizers spinach dip, fried calamari and shrimp cocktail. All of it was beautifully presented and the taste was chef's kiss! My favorite was (and probably always be) the calamari. It was fried perfectly and had a few jalapeños fried in there so it was the perfect amount of heat. Coupled with that was a refreshing drink. I can't recall the exact name but it was a lemony martini with the perfect amount of alcohol. Sometimes the drink profile is so strong, I can't even get into the meal good. This time it was perfect! Onto the main course! I ordered the salmon topped with spinach, and crabmeat. YES! The best! Cooked perfectly with a delicate lemony sauce, and accompanied with string beans and mashed potatoes. I'm watching my carb intake but let me tell you - it took every bit of willpower to not lick the plate!! I was stuffed and required a doggie bag but it didn't stop me from ordering dessert. Reminder friend: I did say it was my cousin's birthday! I got that mile-high carrot cake. I called myself putting it into the doggy bag right off the bat BUT nope, that folk went straight in, and for good reason! It was moist, loaded with carrot and nuts and if I'm not mistaken I do believe a drizzle of honey. OMG! The only thing that topped it was the great service! The best night!!!

I had been to the Steak 38 in Cherry Hill and LOVED it so when I was invited to a celebration at the Tabernacle location I was excited to compare. First, complimentary valet seems to be the only way to park. At the Cherry Hill location, where parking is a bit more of a challenge, it makes sense. Here it seemed a bit redundant, as the restaurant has its own parking area, albeit small, and is in the middle of no where, but I can see where it is an attempt at adding an upscale touch to the establishment. The location is modern and looks nothing like the other location, but otherwise the food is the same. We did the tableside Caesar, which I highly recommend. While the anchovy flavor seemed a tad strong, that is my own personal taste and I think overall its a deliciously fresh and fun experience to watch it all be made in front of you, especially if you're a Caesar salad enthusiast. My husband ordered the prime ribeye with the black truffle butter, I ordered the crab cakes with remoulade and a side of creamed spinach, and the rest of our party of 14+ people ordered such a variety of items I basically witnessed the whole menu. My husbands steak arrived without the black truffle butter, which was accidentally placed on another persons steak. My husband scraped it off and put it on his, but it wasn't the end of the world. Mistakes happen and if your biggest issue is your black truffle butter is missing, then you've got it made. I get crab cakes at a lot of restaurants because I LOVE them and I would say these were about a 6.5 out of 10. They had a lot of filler but were crispy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were both delicious. For dessert we did the tableside bananas foster because I love a tableside experience and my husband had never had it. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner and considering we were a large party I think they did a great job serving us. Overall, if you're in the area I would definitely give it a try if you are looking for a date night or celebratory dinner.

Last night my husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Steak 38 Tabernacle. Compared to the other location, i prefer this one a lot more as it's a separate building & the restaurant itself is much nicer. We had Jenni B as our waitress. She was very kind, personable, & attentive. She always checked with us without it being too much & didn't forget about us when it got busy. She had great recommendations & made sure we liked what we picked. As busy parents to toddlers, i loved that she kept reminding us to take our time. We needed that! The ambiance was also very nice, just would've liked the music turned down a bit. The food was phenomenal. I got the 22oz 28 aged ribeye which was bursting with flavor with the perfect amount of juice & cooked to my liking. My husband had the filet royale, which was also amazing. It could've had more crab meat, but it was delicious nonetheless. Both came with mashed potatoes & green beans which we swapped for the broccoli. Somehow the broccoli was amazing too LOL. Mashed potatoes were outstanding, i don't care for them usually any other time. If youre a veteran, you can mention that for a discount which was nice considering it's pricy for this kind of food & service. Highly recommend this location & we will definitely be back for more!

I'm not even sure where to start. We got bruschetta, artichoke and spinach dip, and my wife got bacon wrapped scallops and all were amazing for starters. Then along came Trevor with what we'll call the best Caesar salad in New Jersey. My wife and I ordered the Steak 38 filet for two...we ordered medium because we learned that's how we like good steak lol....well this one was great!!!! Our server Rocco made time to take a picture for us while giving us excellent service throughout.....then back came Trevor with the bananas foster and OOOOOOH EMMMMMM GEEEEEEE!!!! This was the all around best experience we've had in a while a definite return trip is coming!!!!

Well just like everyone else in the area, had to give it a try here. The try did not disappoint! Jenny was an excellent server. The cocktails were out of this world. The company I had felt the portions were small but I thought they were just right. It changed him into a filet guy. Valet only and it's because that's the world smallest parking lot. Highly recommend a reservation. The short ribs hit everything right (holiday menu item). Mussels were good. That filet Oscar has me drooling just remembering it.

The food is excellent!! Steak 38 has a very warm, casual and laid back atmosphere. The service is wonderful; from the complimentary valet parking to our helpful and knowledgeable server, Aubrey to the people who prep the salad and bananaFoster table side. This place is a gem and everyone made this a great experience. They have specialty drinks like the apple crisp mule. The most tender aged steaks and Ceasars salad prepared table-side. I can't forget the banana's foster, also prepared table-side. So delicious!!! Can't wait to go again.

This place was amazing from the food to the service. Our waitress was amazing and gave excellent service. The cocktails were all so yummy! i got the pumpkin cocktail and loved the creamy and seasonal taste to it. the bread was good but the BUTTER was the winner of the pair. for apps i tried the scallop wrapped in bacon, which was delightful. the scallops were big in size wrapped in perfectly cooked bacon. the caesar salad is known here for their homemade dressing and i can attest to that. so yummy. the mains we got were the fillet mignon cooked medium rare (came perfectly cooked) with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes. you have the option to do a baked potato also. the steak was juicy and tender. they have sauces you can order on the side and we got two of them. it was plenty to share with 2-4 people per sauce (not pictured). as for the lobster ravioli, oh my goodness! it was packed with so much flavor i could not be disappointed. they were filling and the sauce was rich in seafood umami. for dessert we ordered two banana fosters and as full as we were, we didn't leave a single drop. amazing. the cold ice cream paired perfectly with the warmed caramel us banana. there was nutmeg and cinnamon, just a ooey gooey goodness.

What a great find! I was a little unsure at first since I'm not really into bar-type places, but…read morethis spot completely exceeded my expectations. The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. My husband ordered the beef taco special (2 for $5--such a steal!) and liked them, but couldn't stop reaching for my appetizers. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Alright, listen up--I've eaten a lot of roast pork sandwiches in my time. South Philly? Been there…read more The Jersey joints? Crushed 'em. Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.
