My wife and I had a fantastic dinner at Steak 38 in Tabernacle. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. We started with drinks -- my wife had a Blue Hawaiian and I ordered a Speakeasy cocktail. Both were well made and a great way to kick off the night. Fresh bread was brought out with roasted red peppers and an herb butter, which was absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we had the bacon-wrapped scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the bacon was just right, and they were served with a horseradish cream sauce that complemented everything beautifully. We also ordered a tableside Caesar salad, which was very good and a nice touch to the experience. For our main course, we both ordered the 16 oz ribeyes. I had mine topped with black truffle butter, and my wife chose the espresso rub. Both steaks were cooked a perfect medium rare -- tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly as ordered. They were served with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans, which were excellent sides. For dessert, we shared tableside bananas foster and I had a cup of coffee. The bananas foster was amazing and a great way to end the meal. The staff was super friendly and attentive throughout the entire evening. Steak 38 delivered on food, service, and atmosphere. Steak 38 Tabernacle NJ My wife and i went to Steak 38 in Tabernacle NJ last night. Not a lot of parking unless there was some remote parking we missed. Went inside and was very impressed with the inside and the atmosphere was very nice . We were seated immediately and a young woman came to an our table and asked if we needed anything and asked for our drink order. Next came the waiter and he was very sharp and gave us the specials for the day, so far so good. The meal came with another waitress and the food was excellent. My wife had the clams casino and a filet w/ mashed potatoes and green beans and I had the surf and turf which both were excellent. A perfect dinner. We often celebrate special occasions at Steak 38 in Tabernacle as well as dine here for not so special occasions. The staff are always wonderful and the food never disappoints. However, tonight went above and beyond any other dining experience here and the bar was already set pretty high. Ryan B and Faith were our service team. How lucky for us! Faith made a delicious Caesar salad for us while engaging in very pleasant conversation. Ryan made a beyond delicious Bananas Foster. I cannot say enough about these two amazing people. The service was spot on and they made Father's Day all the more special in so many ways. I would be remiss if I didn't recognize the hostess team at the front door. We went to Steak 38 for our anniversary. We reserved our table in advance and told them it was our anniversary. When we arrived there were decorations on the table as well as a rose. The drinks were very good. We both had a steak for dinner. Mine was NY strip and hubs had a prime rib. Both were cooked to our specifications and extremely delicious. The accompanying mashed potatoes and green beans were also very flavorful. We had cheesecake for dessert and it was also excellent. We felt very well taken care of by the wait staff as well. Went for dinner and drinks. The restaurant is very nice as is the bar area. Pretty busy for a Tuesday evening as well. My old fashioned was delicious as was my wifes Bees knees. It was a special occasion - my cousin's birthday! The ambiance was lovely - low lights but sufficient enough to read the menu and see one another. We started with a few appetizers spinach dip, fried calamari and shrimp cocktail. All of it was beautifully presented and the taste was chef's kiss! My favorite was (and probably always be) the calamari. It was fried perfectly and had a few jalapeños fried in there so it was the perfect amount of heat. Coupled with that was a refreshing drink. I can't recall the exact name but it was a lemony martini with the perfect amount of alcohol. Sometimes the drink profile is so strong, I can't even get into the meal good. This time it was perfect! Onto the main course! I ordered the salmon topped with spinach, and crabmeat. YES! The best! Cooked perfectly with a delicate lemony sauce, and accompanied with string beans and mashed potatoes. I'm watching my carb intake but let me tell you - it took every bit of willpower to not lick the plate!! I was stuffed and required a doggie bag but it didn't stop me from ordering dessert. Reminder friend: I did say it was my cousin's birthday! I got that mile-high carrot cake. First time visit, drove from Cape May on Sat made 4pm Reservations. The food was great, the service was top notch and the Ambiance was perfect. The 3 of us started out with the Artichoke dip, It was by far the best we have ever had. Next we had the table side Ceasars salad, it was wonderful. My wife and I had the steak 38 for two. A table side, hand carved filet with garlic mashed and fresh string beans. It was perfect. It also came with a table side banana foster. My son had his normsl fettuccine Alfredo it was great also. I had been to the Steak 38 in Cherry Hill and LOVED it so when I was invited to a celebration at the Tabernacle location I was excited to compare. First, complimentary valet seems to be the only way to park. At the Cherry Hill location, where parking is a bit more of a challenge, it makes sense. Here it seemed a bit redundant, as the restaurant has its own parking area, albeit small, and is in the middle of no where, but I can see where it is an attempt at adding an upscale touch to the establishment. The location is modern and looks nothing like the other location, but otherwise the food is the same. We did the tableside Caesar, which I highly recommend. While the anchovy flavor seemed a tad strong, that is my own personal taste and I think overall its a deliciously fresh and fun experience to watch it all be made in front of you, especially if you're a Caesar salad enthusiast. My husband ordered the prime ribeye with the black truffle butter, I ordered the crab cakes with remoulade and a side of creamed spinach, and the rest of our party of 14+ people ordered such a variety of items I basically witnessed the whole menu. My husbands steak arrived without the black truffle butter, which was accidentally placed on another persons steak. My husband scraped it off and put it on his, but it wasn't the end of the world. Mistakes happen and if your biggest issue is your black truffle butter is missing, then you've got it made. I get crab cakes at a lot of restaurants because I LOVE them and I would say these were about a 6.5 out of 10. They had a lot of filler but were crispy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were both delicious. For dessert we did the tableside bananas foster because I love a tableside experience and my husband had never had it. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner and considering we were a large party I think they did a great job serving us. They're charging Philadelphia prices in the pine barrens. There are far better steak houses for this kind of cash. We got the au poivre add on, for some reason they drizzled it on the steak on the board. Then most fell off during them doing the tableside cutting, and it was pretty much left on the cutting board. I asked my server and he brought me more without issue,especially after mentioning there was more on the board than on our plates lol! My wife likes it medium and it was perfect for her! Last night my husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Steak 38 Tabernacle. Compared to the other location, i prefer this one a lot more as it's a separate building & the restaurant itself is much nicer. We had Jenni B as our waitress. She was very kind, personable, & attentive. She always checked with us without it being too much & didn't forget about us when it got busy. She had great recommendations & made sure we liked what we picked. As busy parents to toddlers, i loved that she kept reminding us to take our time. We needed that! The ambiance was also very nice, just would've liked the music turned down a bit. The food was phenomenal. I got the 22oz 28 aged ribeye which was bursting with flavor with the perfect amount of juice & cooked to my liking. My husband had the filet royale, which was also amazing. It could've had more crab meat, but it was delicious nonetheless. Both came with mashed potatoes & green beans which we swapped for the broccoli. Somehow the broccoli was amazing too LOL. The cocktails were all so yummy! i got the pumpkin cocktail and loved the creamy and seasonal taste to it. the bread was good but the BUTTER was the winner of the pair. for apps i tried the scallop wrapped in bacon, which was delightful. the scallops were big in size wrapped in perfectly cooked bacon. the caesar salad is known here for their homemade dressing and i can attest to that. so yummy. the mains we got were the fillet mignon cooked medium rare (came perfectly cooked) with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes. you have the option to do a baked potato also. the steak was juicy and tender. they have sauces you can order on the side and we got two of them. it was plenty to share with 2-4 people per sauce (not pictured). as for the lobster ravioli, oh my goodness! it was packed with so much flavor i could not be disappointed. they were filling and the sauce was rich in seafood umami. for dessert we ordered two banana fosters and as full as we were, we didn't leave a single drop. amazing. the cold ice cream paired perfectly with the warmed caramel us banana. there was nutmeg and cinnamon, just a ooey gooey goodness. read more

We went into the restaurant seated immediately for our 545 reservation waitress came over. We were a party of four We ordered our drinks and waited approximately 20 minutes for them and my Bacardi and sprite tasted like the soda was flat or the dispenser needed to be cleaned We ordered our food and again waited quite a while to be served I ordered the fillet Royale medium rare. It came well done husband ordered the medium and he did trade with me, but he said the well done was very tough. My brother chicken franchise and it was extremely dry. Was lucky enough to be invited to the soft opening. We've both been going to their main location in Cherry Hill now for quite some time and were very much looking forward to experiencing the new location in Tabernacle. Upon pulling into the parking lot we were greeted with complimentary valet. The outside of the building looked great but the inside renovations were beautiful, elegant, and modern. The bar inside is big with ample seating in multiple different sections of the restaurant. We initially sat at the bar where there were a few bartenders on staff who were all very friendly. There were 15 signature cocktails ranging from $13-$19 and a really nice beer and wine list. I started with a Hot Shot which was tequila with jalapeño infused simple syrup, Cointreau, and lime juice. It was spicy and refreshing. We also had martinis, a dirty and a twist with Stoli Elit, as well as a Tito's and club. The drinks were beautiful and smooth. We were then seated at a booth where our server greeted us. I ordered a Smoke Show which was Bulleit and Grand Marnier smoked table side with cherry wood chips (pictures included). This was the first of 3 table-side preparations we experienced tonight. Our server was great the whole night. She had a great sense of humor and everything she prepped and served table-side ended up being great. We started with Caesar salad which was another one of the table-side preparations and while I'm not much of a salad person I really enjoyed it. For entrees we had a Chicken Marsala, two filets cooked medium, and a ribeye cooked medium rare. The entrees were all tender. All 3 of the steaks were cooked perfectly and my ribeye was seasoned very well. All served with mashed potatoes and green beans. We finished up with bananas foster, the last of our table-side experiences. Again our server knocked it out of the park prepping the dessert in front of a restaurant full of people. Everything about Steak 38 tonight was great. All of the employees were professional. The bartenders mixed great drinks. Our server was friendly and welcoming. The food was what you'd expect coming from Steak 38. I'm very excited to have a classier restaurant coming to the area and the experience we had tonight convinces me they're going to be successful at this location. read more

My husband and I ordered the filet mignon for 2 which is carved table side and comes with Caesar salad and Bananas Foster for dessert. The entire meal was made/served table side so it was a nice experience. We felt the filet mignon could have rested a bit longer as all the juices came out as it was carved. The tableside menu options are fun to watch but the salad is overly salty (I think I drank 4 glasses of water to get it down) the bananas foster was meh. The steak was great but they forgot our sides so by the time we got them we were almost done our steak. The steak butter was cold and solidified by the time it was at the table. My salad plate was left on the table the whole meal. Overall, it was an ok experience mostly thanks to the bussers who kept our waters full. My family and I went here on Saturday. We pulled up to the complimentary valet parking and were immediately greeted happily by a few workers. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress Lunna was very welcoming. She told us the specials and answered all of our questions. There were 8 of us and I think we probably all asked questions. We started off with prime rib flatbread which was delicious. My husband had a French onion soup which he said was very good. Our dinners were Salmon, Lamb chops, Filet mignon, Ribeye, Risotto with lobster and scallops, and NY strip steak most of the dinners came with mashed potatoes and string beans.
