I continued to try and give this company every opportunity to act professional, show up on time and actually do what they were hired to do. They have never been less than an hour late to my property and they serviced it approximately every month. Not one time did they show up when they stated or even within an hour past the window of time they stated. Anything that is beyond their eye level, gets missed. I had to constantly call back and have them come back out to service it a second time because the wasp nests and other insects had nests right on the walls or lower roof line, skipped the nest 3 times even though it was pointed out on multiple occasions. I recently decided to give them another opportunity, the rep showed up 1 hour 30 minutes later than the time he had sent me saying he was 30 minutes from my house. Missed several hot spots. Since he was late beyond 1 hour 30 minutes, I dismissed the tech and will never use this company again. Lack of professionalism, doesn't seem to care about having customers wait at times 3 hours beyond scheduled time window in the past, they obviously don't care or learn from their mistakes. Hire a professional company that can communicate when outside the window by hours or a company that cares since the owner / president doesn't give a crap. Hire them and you'll experience the same garbage. Everyone in this community experienced the same as I have and fired them. They have no customers left in the community when they had many...Good luck if you hired them, you've been informed!!!!!!

Campbell Pest Control is a humble family business that started 3 generations ago. Rodney came to…read moreservice our house to prepare for the summer bugs waiting in the wings. He uses a formula that is highly effective against pests that's also safe around humans. What I appreciated most about Rodney is that he is very thorough. He carefully inspects every crevice in the house, checking under every sink and on every windowsill, to find any potential entry point for a pest. The price point is very fair and actually competitive compared to a lot of the bigger named ones in the area. The thing I appreciate most about the pricing is that they don't try to schedule in advance; they operate on an as needed basis. That shows me that they aren't in it solely for the money. The service includes a 90 day guarantee. Rodney is a generous person who cares about his customers and having him serve the Rowlett area is such a great asset to the down. Giving his customers the peace of mind that they need from various pests is what he does and hopefully this is a business that will thrive and protect Rowlett for generations to come.

I had a termite problem about two years ago and called Orkin first to see what their price was to come take care of the situation. I then called Shepherd and their price ended up being almost half of what Orkin was going to charge. They used to do monthly pest spraying for me, but I had to cut that services when I was going through a divorce and lost my job not too long after that. It had nothing to do with them. They've also come out and looked at a few possible problems that I had and gave me their opinion on how to handle the situation. If I can use a local person or local company to do work, I will do the local company over a national company any day. I'll especially use Shepherd Pest over a major company like Orkin.
