The safety factor and low price drew us to them even though there are many other places available to us closer to home. The gated and fenced in area require a pass code to get in and out. Tall fences have barbed wire, motion sensors, and am told the keepers have monitoring cameras in their house. During any snowstorms the ways are kept plowed should you need to get to your RV. When someone goes to their RV you can expect to see the friendly on site person drop by on his golf cart for a chat and to make certain no hokey pokey is going on. However, the review I wrote did help the on-site managers get the funding they needed to improve the storage units. Management (a husband and wife team are truly making this storage unit amazing. I received an email a few months ago from them addressing my concerns (I forgot to update my review then). However, my husband just picked up our RV yesterday and management spoke to him directly about my review and all the things they've done to change the business since I wrote the review. It was pointed out in both management's email and their talk with my husband that: 1. They have contracted with two different snow removal companies to plow their lot to ensure that the sheet of ice will not happen again. YAY! :) 2. They were so busy trying to break up the ice and snow that they didn't have time to email everyone back...understandable. 3. The Penske trucks are now out of the way! YAY! It's easy to maneuver in the area now. Before my husband picked up the RV yesterday, we were planning on moving it, closer to home. This location is across town and about a 45 minute round trip. However, management mentioned to him that they are trying to do additional little things (like make note of trucks that belong to the RVs to ensure the safety of the RVs). Management has been very proactive, therefore, we are planning on staying here now.
