I have to say that since I wrote my initial review, this storage unit has gotten a lot better...and I feel slight bad for the poor review earlier. However, the review I wrote did help the on-site managers get the funding they needed to improve the storage units. Management (a husband and wife team are truly making this storage unit amazing. I received an email a few months ago from them addressing my concerns (I forgot to update my review then). However, my husband just picked up our RV yesterday and management spoke to him directly about my review and all the things they've done to change the business since I wrote the review. It was pointed out in both management's email and their talk with my husband that: 1. They have contracted with two different snow removal companies to plow their lot to ensure that the sheet of ice will not happen again. YAY! :) 2. They were so busy trying to break up the ice and snow that they didn't have time to email everyone back...understandable. 3. The Penske trucks are now out of the way! YAY! It's easy to maneuver in the area now. Before my husband picked up the RV yesterday, we were planning on moving it, closer to home. This location is across town and about a 45 minute round trip. However, management mentioned to him that they are trying to do additional little things (like make note of trucks that belong to the RVs to ensure the safety of the RVs). Management has been very proactive, therefore, we are planning on staying here now. read more

Friendly people and a great deal on a 10'x10' storage shed (If you pay for three months in advance you get the fourth month free. Currently $225 for the four months so the average per month = $56.25/mo) The sheds are all clean, but they do allow dust to blow in since they are situated in a windy area and not sealed. We ordered a Penske Truck through this location for pick up at the end of business (5pm) on a Sunday as received a call around noon that day explaining that there were no other trucks available however, our order would be processed through another location in Sparks. No problem here, as it seemed to already to be taken care of. What this facility failed to tell us was that the new facility could not honor the same reservation time. When we arrived at 5pm to the new location, it had already been closed for several hours. After speaking with Kaitlyn, I feel as if she was very rude in her correspondence. To be able to still rent a truck this late into night, I had to drive down to the northern part of Carson city to pick up a truck, which would also reflect in higher charges due to extra charges - which was my overall concern. Instead, Kaitlyn was insistent that they were not at fault for this incident. Unfortunately we ended up paying much more for the rental than we planned, and it is my firm belief that it is because this business falsely advertised the availability of a moving truck from their location and their inability to properly communicate that the new facility would not honor the same reservation time. I'm very disappointed in this business, I wish I just had used uhaul instead. Save your time and money, and skip this business for moving truck rentals. read more

Went to pick up moving boxes which they said they sold when I called. Came in, they said they had to check to see if they had medium boxes, which they did not. So I had to get a size up, which I did not want, but was desperate to get stuff packed (nice way to up-sell) Then when I went to pay, they said they didn't take cash only debit or credit cards. HELL no I don't provide my credit card or debit card to storage places, that's one to have have your identity stolen. Walked out - empty handed. read more

The staff here is very friendly and helpful and the facility itself is clean. I have been to the other self storage facilities in the area and this one has by far been the best. read more

Great Storage. We moved this month after 2 years. The Management is the best, they are very helpful. We recommend this storage facility.

No complaints now. Since the new company/management took over everything has been great on our end. They worked me with me really well when I had to switch units. The previous management(s) were awful and I had nothing but issues with them. These guys are awesome, the units work just fine. This facility is a great place to store an RV! My wife and I have stored our Class C RV in a covered storage area three times over as many years. The management team of Joseph and Amy are very helpful and accommodating, giving us a lift to and from the main office with our luggage as we fly out-of-state and leave the rig in summer storage. The spaces are neat as a pin, well maintained, and there are lots of lights and security cameras in place. Its no surprise that the RV storage spaces are almost always completely rented! read more

Great managers, but the security is lacking. Our travel trailer window was smashed to gain entry and the trailer burglarized. Not enough video cameras and no barbed wire fences to deter opportunistic criminals. Nothing is perfect, but they could have better security. read more

Horrible customer service. The onsite manager, Amy is not pleasant what so ever. We came and looked at the property and noticed not only black widows inside the unit we looked at but dead mice on the property and a couple piles of dog feces. Absolutely disgusting! read more
