I have been here a few times to watch some sports and overall my experience has been good! The place is very big and there are lots of TVs so there not too many bad seats in this place. The location is great and the food was your typical bar food. We were there to watch sports so we got cold beer and hot wings. We couldn't ask for more. Unhappy sports bar experience. The game I wanted to watch (the GT home team game) was relegated to a small TV in the corner of the bar while they had the florida game on 4 tvs and blasting the audio. So I was disappointed that they don't seem to be interested home team fans watching the game. Also noted that the tables that have taps (their cool gimmick) are empty and always have "reserved" signs on them while the bar and the seats around the bar's edge are crowded. My mother recently submitted a review for Stats and although some of the dishes we received we're good, we weren't satisfied with the service during our visit. From my understanding, Yelp is a place to submit any experiences or concerns you may have had about the restaurant, but the Yelp website somehow has allowed members like Breanna W to judge another member of the community for solely giving their opinion; especially about a matter they have no knowledge of. Although the matter has been resolved and I do thank the general manager of the restaurant for setting the problem, everyone is entitled to their opinion and the whole point of any retail service is for you to have a good experience, most importantly from the server (and I know this without having to actually work in a restaurant). I think Stats represents a noble attempt at blending the sports bar experience with a progressive menu, but there are some struggles marrying the two worlds. I will say the drinks are well priced, but nothing groundbreaking. The BBQ Combo was a miss for me......though the mac and cheese was spot on. My date had meatloaf which sat on top of mashed and green beans....which looked much better. I think the problem is that they are attempting to delve into a territory that ESPN pretty much has locked down. My advice would be to ramp up the service and the drinks, foodies wont whine as much if you find new and creative ways to get them tipsy. read more

We grabbed a quick bite here before an evening event at the convention center. Wow- the food was incredible!!! Seriously! I enjoyed the fish tacos with a side salad while my Mom truly enjoyed the veggie sandwich (she is still talking about it today). The BEST SPORTS BAR N ATLANTA! Hands down. My fav part. Is the ticker to watch the stock market. It makes the market exciting to watch. The food is outstanding for a sports bar. While our family was visiting the Georgia Aquarium, my husband was searching for a place to eat lunch. When he said "sports bar" I was less than excited. After walking a short distance, I was surprised at the outside. While very neat in appearance, it was dark and seemed vacant. However, upon entering, we discovered a modern hip, non-cluttered, comfortable big place. We were greeted quickly and ordered the nachos appetizer. It arrived in lightening speed and was delicious. Our entrees of kids chicken tenders, Messi Double (burger) and Noonan Club were phenomenal. The club had a pound of the freshest juiciest turkey, fresh rich jack cheese and great bacon and lettuce on a delicious multi grain bread. It wasn't trying as hard to be hip on the one extreme or else overdone ESPN Zone on the other as I'd expected. Decent noise volume, lighting, & very clean. I had the STATs burger. When the bartender asked me how I wanted it cooked, I asked her if they usually do it accurately (places always seem to overcook burgers). She said yes, so I ordered it medium. It came out medium-well. Biggest complaint (and thing that was just weird) -- every TV station on the bar was on an ESPN that was showing news at a time when there was both a Braves & a Hawks game on. I have debated writing this one for the past couple of days and finally decided it should be written. Found myself in this sports bar when myself and my traveling companion were stranded due to the East Coast storm. Beer and food were just what one would expect in a place like this. The kicker came down to our server. So during the course of the night my traveling partner won a 32 inch flat screen. He asked me what I would do if I had won it. I said I would give it to the waitress as 1 I didn't need it and 2 I didn't feel like trying to get it home from ATL. So he does the right thing and pays it forward. So far so good. She is super excited and we suddenly become her very best friends. Ok here it comes... When she brings the bill we said hey we feel as though we have already tipped you pretty well with a brand new LG flatscreen. Without missing a beat she says no... We won that and didn't earn hence she expected a cash tip. I KID YOU NOT BOTH OF OUR JAWS DROPPED....! I mean WTF? We both put $20 on the bar and told her if she needed it that badly ... We walked back to our hotel in total disbelief.... I guess the first clue to what kind of shallow person we were dealing with was when she first came to our table wearing a pair of glasses without lenses. Atlanta this one is a blemish for you. This place saved our lives! After the Bronner Brothers Hair Show, we were ready to eat. We had another restaurant to try but there was traffic from all directions so we just started walking. I've been here three times, I always find another food item I like. Although I don't eat meat, I've had the chance to try their vegetarian quesadillas (this was during Restaurant Week so it might not be available all the time), fried green tomato sandwich, and macaroni and cheese. I know I had some other food, but those stood out the most in my memory. The prices are decent (I remember the sandwich being maximum $10, including the side). The only almost-downfall was that we went on a game night (Hawks) and they had an abbreviated menu but they made an exception for my sandwich. read more

This place is really cool and I love the rooftop!! The drinks were well mixed and the food was tasty. They have a lot of space for private parties. I'm just concerned about the accessibility for handicapped people or people who don't like a lot of stairs. You'll get your daily exercise walking up their staircase. We were at the Hilton across the street and decided to try Stats out due to the convenience. Nice decor (cool, trendy). The waiter told us they are known for their BBQ, so we always order what a place is know for. It did not disappoint us (and we are from Texas). We had brisket, ribs, pulled pork and the rotisserie chicken. The pulled pork was just ok but the rest was excellent. I think the pulled pork had too much of the BBQ sauce mixed in it. My experience was great because of the bartender Kelly. He was very friendly and kept my friend and I laughing all night. The drinks are reasonable but there are no drink specials. You can actually hear the game and it is drama free. The manager ensures that all customers are safe and satisfied. I will definitely be back to this bar again. read more

They took awhile to change the channel on the big screen. Our server wasn't that friendly but did a decent job for a party of 8. The food was okay, but I would've liked more vegetarian options. Waited 15 minutes to order appetizer another 15 to order the entry. another 15 to get the bill. All the while trying to get the game on the TV.
