Donut station. I love the dude who works there. Friendly and quiet, his life looks as romantic as his donuts taste good. Incredibly reasonable pricing, fresh taste, no old old flavor, and perfect portion of frosting/ glaze. Interior simple, charming, quiet; the perfect place to sip coffee and savor a chocolate glaze. The chocolate is mild but has a little bit of that nice bitter that comes through in chocolate while remaining sweet and creamy, coating the top of an airy, well seasoned donut. There is that doughy aftertaste that pulls through at the end of a donut bite that you wash away with coffee. So good. Chocolate glaze: 8.9 the twisty eggy one, a kruller? Also quite good. Shout out the cake donut, chocolate frosted with peanut, dense, moist and satisfying.

Love this place, the guy is super chill and the donuts are super good. And since I'm starting a photography, videography, and graphic design business, I decided to make him a new logo for free.

Mid day... late lunch.... Why not check out the donut shop?.. Last time was when we picked up donuts for our tax person down the street.. Not too many donuts to chose from... But it's okay.. they had one that I always get.. Chocolate donut with peanuts.. Too full from lunch to try it..

Best donut I've had in months, if not years. If you are anywhere close, pull over here and grab a donut. Old school donut store.

Big sign says open and under says closed. So annoying.

Exactly what you expect a coffee shop to be...tasty donuts, cheap coffee, and old guys talking politics in the corner. I was really happy that they had custard eclaires, because many places just have cream filled, which are gross. I also had a chocolate old-fashioned, which was pretty good as well. Slight knock for not having skim milk, but whatever. I wasn't blown away by anything (but come on, they're donuts), but if you're looking for a donut shop, you could certainly do worth than Station Donuts.

2 dozen donuts for $15 - good price on a teachers budget

As another reviewer mentioned- the donuts are fresh! You can find this place in the back of the bicycle shop and the Korean restaurant seen from Folsom Blvd. When I walk in, I'm greeted by a man and woman (they might be husband and wife), friendly and upbeat. I stop by around 7am and usually find some customers from the neighborhood sitting at the table chatting it up and sipping their coffee. This is the only donut shop in the neighborhood. The prices are reasonable enough that I can afford to buy a couple of dozen donuts for my students. You get a free one for every dozen. What they say about finding a cop at a donut shop must be true because the last 2 times I've been here there was a cop getting his regular order. Safe place to be! haha. I think next time I'll buy that cop a donut and get on his good side.

So much oil in the donut, dripping down from my thumb.

I saw it had 4.8 stars so thought it must be good. The parking lot had decent parking and it is right next to an Asian restaurant and Dutch Bros. It's also located on a busy road so you can't miss it when driving by. When I got inside, I saw the space inside was limited and there was a line so some folks had to be outside until the people who ordered have left. My first thought was that the fact that there is a line means that this place must be good! I looked at the menu and noticed they have a good amount of options to choose from other than donuts. I saw they had boba drinks, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, etc. I ended up ordering 1 dozen and then 3 extra donuts for a total of 15 donuts. The prices were pretty fair compared to other donut shops. When I brought the box of donuts to my office, I noticed that not only did they put the dozen donuts in the box but they also added a few donuts holes in there as well so that was a nice touch.

The drink was very milk-heavy with only a faint matcha flavor, so I couldn't really tell what quality matcha was being used. At $8.50, I was pretty sticker shocked -- especially for Sacramento. Even a lot of cafés in Los Angeles don't charge that much for a standard iced matcha latte. That said, I did work up the courage to bring the drink back and ask if they could add more matcha, and the barista was incredibly kind and accommodating about it. It still did not have a strong matcha flavor, but the customer service genuinely turned the experience around for me. No shade to the business overall -- Temple has been around for a long time and is clearly well-loved for their coffee program and lattes. I just personally wish the matcha flavor had been stronger from the start, especially at that price point.
