A solid three with a hug! I got there at 10:45AM on Friday and they were pretty wiped out, went for the maple twist and it was super fresh and nice balance of maple and not over kill. I placed an order with them through the app 'Too good to go' which works with businesses to help eliminate food waste by selling some of the items that would've otherwise been thrown out at the end of the day. I thought it was a cool concept and it was my first time trying it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try them because when I showed up to get my order during my pick up time at 12:30, the store was locked with a sign on the door saying they were sold out and no one was there. Which is fine, I get that things happen, I just wish they had cancelled my order so I didn't drive all the way there for nothing. Good donuts but not very reliable. I'm hesitant to post negative reviews because I know it hurts the business, but I think they've pretty well hurt their own business enough by now that people deserve a little word of advice: I've gone many times and regrettably there have been several times that there was a problem. Usually it's that they sell out too quickly of the most popular kinds of donuts. There were two times they were open and I stood there at the counter, but no one came out to help even though I could hear someone in the back watching videos on their phone. And then today they were unexpectedly closed. No donuts in the display, no note to explain if there was a temporary issue, just the sign turned to "closed." So I drove just down the road to RC Donuts on Zinfandel and probably will just go there first from now on because I can't count on Allen's anymore. read more

I used to go to Kings, but their doughnuts have been gross lately. When you bite into it, it's filled with oil. This place had pretty good reviews, so I decided to give them a try.
